Biggest issue for me was matchmaking. Whether it’s ranked or casual doesn’t matter I only go against champs despite being a Ranked 1.0 plat 3. Not putting up with it anymore I uninstalled.

same, I'm roughly middle plat but very often play with my friends ranging from bronze to high silver/low gold, yet we would in most cases encounter emerald or diamond players that would absolutely roll everyone on our team, not fun.

Same, its ridiculous, im not very skilled at shooters so my highest rank was silver 5 back when flores released.... yet almost every game im against diamonds, emeralds, and champs, and i just get absolutely destroyed. Quixk match is bettter but its almost all plats and emeralds, very rare i face golds. Very annoying for a casual player Then throw the massive amount of cheaters in the mix. I cant go 3 games without at least 1, least the toxicity has been reduced

Year 10 S1 has already been leaked, next season we will most likely get an Legacy 2.0 Event. Apparently the devs have been working several months on this, we are gonna be able to play on the old maps and the night versions of them. Im really hyped if it comes.

Then they did seasons with only one op. Now they are doing seasons with no new ops, no new guns, no new maps. Where is the content?

For me honestly the only good thing this season was the introduction of Deimos in year 9 season 1. I find him such a cool operator and I love his ability and everything about that operator. Definitely one of my personal favourites and a top 5 attacker in my opinion.

The reputation system is poorly implemented I have max out positive score but i dont get any perks. Why? Because griefers purposefully walked infront of my bullets and then clicked f5. Or random teammates who saw i was holding an angle and shooting. Peeks that and puts their head infront of my reticle AS IM FIRING and somehow blames it on me. This is asinine

each season really just kept swinging back and forth from "we are so fucking back" to "its so over". Lowkey i kinda wish they would just stop with all the smaller items for the roadmaps because it just leads to disappointment when like 1/2 the things on the list just keep getting pushed back over and over. Just keep it basic and only show what will 100% drop in that season (new/reworked operator, event, etc).

I haven't played all year, because the battle passes have been getting more and more underwhelming, I didn't even want to hop on for the events for those reward packs because of the recycled skins. Not to mention when content was stripped from the pass and added as benefits for the subscription... They have got to get their shot together if I am to return to playing in year 10

Regardless of what you think about Siege, it has had an incredible run. If you had asked anyone back in 2015 if the game would still be going strong in 2025, I doubt a single soul would have said yes. Ubisoft really struck gold with this game. Hopefully they stop taking it for granted.

What i wanna see in year 10. 1.) 3 new operators + 1 operator reworks. 2.) Return of night maps, with new electric grid map function to allow lights going out on the map during gameplay, and the inclusion of night vision goggles as a gadget. 3.) Arcade playlist now includes a legecy mode to replay all old seasonal events which includes a vote to pick which event to play. 4.) New gadgets, new weapons. 5.) Anniversary event, play the yr 1 base game. (Just updated, no glitches, maybe even put on a retro filter) 6.) Helicopter spawns, remember the e3 demo? Yeah me too. Make that demo accurate. 7.) Offline content. Let's be real, siege isn't gonna last forever, so why not add content that allows for lifeline of the game after its over??

The BB rework was AWFUL! When I heard they were making him a shield operator I was ok with that, but I thought they were going to add a bit of nuance to his kit. That was not the case. He is LITERALLY just a shield who has a primary weapon, with no real unique aspects. Super unfun to play against, and very boring. He also lost his Desert Eagle which is so strange to me considering the weapon was introduced with BB! This rework was a total fail!

I've stopped playing the game due to their balancing. I always give devs the benefit of the doubt when it comes to changes made because I know it can be really hard to balance games with so many variables but I have never seen a balance team so utterly out of touch with their core audience. The way they balance SCREAMS "we only look at the numbers". They actually are starting to run out of stuff to nerf for some operators and haven't realised yet that buffing and fun is allowed. Beyond siege I actually think Ubisoft is cooked. They utterly failed at XDefiant. Their games are really samey, they are massively pulling back on the amount of content. Their stock massively fell again recently and only continues to dwindle. They just can't seem to get a win. From an outsider's perspective, they look incompetent. I am actually expecting them to be bought over within the next 5 or so years or shut down entirely at the rate they are going. But where is the value in owning them other than their brands and siege at this point? They have proven they can't make something big that's genuinely good for years. Ik this is a super negative comment, but it's just how I've felt since around Phantom Sight onwards. I normally try to look on the bright side of the games I like to play but damn... Ubisoft is really making it hard for me to do that here.

My input is based on console (PS5). Here’s a couple improvements that everyone would appreciate going into Y10; - Console players should have an option to only play against other consoles players. “Consoles preferred” which is the default (and what they “fixed”) still pits one against PC players. If you choose to disable cross play matchmaking, I can guarantee that you will not find a match within 15 minutes. I’ve tried multiple times :( - Fix ranked and quick match, matchmaking. In its current form is just plain broken. How is it fair to me that I drop 6 kills and still go 0-4 in ranked because my team is playing plats and champs..? I’m a silver at best, and have never achieved a elo higher than silver rank, so where’s the logic in this? - We deserve transparency in the matchmaking process. We should be able to see; if we’re playing squads (two or more players queued together), and the rank of each individual within the player information screen (Tab on PC, Touchpad on PS5). This would be such a good quality of life improvement!

I don’t care that there is a wheelchair operator. I care that it’s the Greek operator. There are probably some stupid culture war activists but that doesn’t invalidate the actual issues. The only Greek operator in the game, finally added after 9 years, despite massive Greek presence in the story, isn’t playable. Instead you play as 2 robots. They should have picked a country which already has operators and let the Greek operator not be a robot.

My review is closet cheating is completely outa hand I make a friend in diamond or champ and they turn out to be cheating the whole time... very disappointing this happens every time I try to get a stack together and I mean EVERYTIME... I am sick of it I want to 5 stack up into higher diamond but not with or against a bunch of closeting cheaters. absolutely terrible players in reality most of the time without walls. I don't think a game matters that much to cheat but they think it's just a game so why not cheat it's irritating that most higher elo players are like this. so my review of this year is a cheater fest any gamemode is like smacking your face into a brick wall trying to break through it if you like winning and you are any good at the game this is what you will find. The mentality for most is "If I can't beat em join em" and I hate this weak mentality it is far more enjoyable to struggle in the face of adversity win or lose, but I guess everybody wants it easy like a bunch of p..............ansies yeah that's the word.

I had a good year. Switched to PC for the first time. As a 9 year console player I thought I was bad... Console input is bad. Lol It's fun wrecking house, now I get the M+K cheaters. Blackbeard is wonderful now. Cheaters weren't too frequent. When they do show I just start funny strat time. I think my biggest revelation was to stop caring about winning and just playing the game I've loved for 10 years. Things have been much better since. Ranked is now a massive joke participation event. So pressure is completely off. Idk, I think it was better, probably just my mental approach thou.
