Minecraft today is known for its villagers, exploration, hunger bar, enchanting, and its end. However all of these things began in the year of 2011. This is the story of how in a single year Minecraft went from a basic survival game to a game with exploration, tons of features and having an end.

I remember learning about Minecraft over spring break in march of 2011 when I was 10 years old and being completely absorbed by it. That was one of the most magical week of my childhood and most certainly had a massive influence on my growth as an individual. Miss those days.

Something funny: I had a Sony Xperia Play back in the day (it's broken now) and had Minecraft Pocket Edition (even had the demo). While the Xperia Play was the first to receive Pocket Edition, it was also the first to lose support for it. The controller, the main part of the appeal of playing PE on the Play, was abandoned to the end of PE's lifetime.

Loved the video! Been watching for quite a while (like all the way back to the 1.18.2 Beta mod, forgot its name). If I were to ask though, why did Beta 1.9 get scrapped, I don't think that was delved into here (unless I completely missed it or it's for another video).
