This is probably one of the most wholesome rockhounding videos I've seen. It's good to see kids looking up to their dad and taking after him. I recall the video of the amethyst you found. The amethyst limb cast was SO beautiful 😍 Boys, you all did a great job 👍 Nolan, your knowledge came through in your comments and my favorites of your finds were the cute yellow agate with the 👁 & flame seam agate. Chase I really appreciated that you washed off the 1st find so I could see it better & that you knew the petrified wood was from a conifer. I love jasper so thanks for showing some! Travis, sorry your equipment let you down a little bit but you still did a GREAT job 👏 and my favorite of your finds was the limb cast, I love, love, love the colorful stuff!!!

Nolan, The eye that is staring at you, very cool find. You have good eye, lol, so i want show you something amazing. It is part of a pattern that exists in every rock I find. If you can find the eye, then look for the ear, nose, and mouth. What you call a seam, in an agate is usually the mouth, and the crystals make teeth. It is the weirdest thing ever, but absolutely real(pattern, not actual animals). When I first found the pattern I saw a sheep or ram head. Imagine the rock as a head, with the mouth facing left as you did. The eye is exactly where it always is, as with the ear or horn, and the mouth and the nose, which is usually a dimple. Rocks are not random at all and the formation process is incredible. It is in the way they are formed that creates this fractal pattern. I found it looked like a lamb and God created the pattern in the rock through impacts. When you find the faces I will show you how to find it easier, every single time, and also many other patterns that exist becuase of the formation process, one of them being a dinosaur head. The geologists got the formation process wrong in the books. But we will correct it in time. Have fun
