This is an absolute honor. I’ve been a long time fan. This video probably wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t more me discovering the News show back in 2012 or so and I probably wouldn’t know the world or paper dolls or 90’s era furries as well. I apologize for fangirling, but I guess to make a long story I’m happy you enjoyed the video.

oh my god, you're still alive, i remember you from YTPnews, and was sad when you broke it off calling yourself out for being an authority for an entire genere, i didn't look at it like that, it was no different than any reviewer reviewing media and having a personal opinion, i assumed some disgruntled poopers "persuaded" you to stop, and you just got cold feet, which is understandable, i liked the concept and format of your episodes, and specially appreciated you acknowledging a niche not many people like, and kinda making it mainstream, and how you kept promoting new poopers, and provided criticism to make poopers less lazy, you might have been a self proclaimed southern asshole, but you've been an important and entertaining southern asshole which evens it out and i hope one day you decide to come back, even for a short run, the ytp scene is bland without someone tying it together

Growing up with YTP as a kid, it felt such like a niche community and medium that i was always on the lookout for more ytps. Although it’s upsetting that many ytps have long been removed or disappeared, it’s difficult to go down through memory lane. Much like said in the vid, as long as one person is making ytps, it can still be surviving. Much love to the past creators, and ones still sticking with us today even if they do other media.

YTP must return from the community right now. I was a big fan of these in 2010 and some of them I haven't even seen all of them. I didn't know that this community is so special that people have learned so much about editing styles that they have become editors and even famous on youtube.

YTP was some of the earliest stuff I've seen on the internet, even before we had internet at home (I used school computers to watch them). It was, and still is, some of the most creative forms of media born from the internet. I used to have a big collection of YTP (mostly very old spadinner stuff) on my computer, but then it got lost after a hard drive failure. I very much love the YTP genre to this day, and it warms my heart that it keeps evolving and refuses to die.

IDK if you see this, but I feel the urge to say this after seeing the NSFW ytps section. I remember having watched a YTP porn collab hosted by a pooper named "gilbertify" (the channel is now deleted, I remember it had a Kendrick Lamar poop that I liked). The collab was posted to pornhub, but in 2020 the website purged all its non-verified user content, hence the collab was deleted. After a google search, I found out it's been reuploaded to a different porn site. It's not really good, it has a couple of funny moments, but the novelty of having a ytp porn collab is the funniest thing about it IMO.

Hello fellow YTPers and YTP enjoyers, I want to give a brief update regarding the things PinkDelilahTea has said about YTPMania being down and whatnot at 28:30. From what I know, back in late July to early August, Smonge (the owner of YTPMania) has come back from his two year absence, and is working towards improving YTPMania and making the site more YTP-Centred, along with the site's certificate being renewed. He's also taking Lexapro to help with his anxiety. As for Pinchbacks, the forum for it is now left to dust considering that MemeKirisame (who used to handle the associate forum) decided it's not necessary anymore since YTPMania is slowly turning around and the Doubles Cup 4 Tennis Tournament being over. The server for Pinchbacks is still alive and doing well to say the least.

Speaking of Touhou, I think it also deserves a spot on the iceberg simply from the fact that it may actually be because of these poops that it’s as much a cultural phenomenon as it is today. Touhou used to be a very niche franchise due to most of the games then being exclusive to the PC 98 (an exclusively Japanese computer) and having very specific ways to even play them in the first place (which meant emulation was and still is pretty much the avenue for a lot of the older games). The earliest examples of Touhou being viral memes include the song Un Owen Was Her (the extra boss theme, ripped straight from the 6th game), Bad Apple (a famous vocal remix of a stage theme from the 4th game), and Night of Nights (a remix of a song from the 9th game that has even overshadowed the original). This combined with many animations and music circles that would follow (one example is IOSYS, a band that made numerous songs based on Touhou that would become viral like Cirno’s Perfect Math Class) as well as the fact that Touhou 6 (Embodiment of Scarlet Devil) was the first game to switch OS from PC 98 to Windows was very likely people’s first experience with the franchise and characters and I’d argue that this was why Touhou is so incredibly popular despite the fact that it should be niche (and why Touhou 6 is so iconic). A lot of fans don’t play the games but are usually exposed to everything surrounding them from fangames, to music circles to even merch like the current trend, Fumo. TL;DR Touhou’s popularity could’ve been influenced from the many YTPs using the music (like Ronald McDonald Insanity, which was mentioned)
@AluminumFusion224 ай бұрын
Yup. Touhou is a major cornerstone of the Internet. There's Ronald McDonald Insanity and Bad Apple like you mentioned, and then there's Undertale, which is partially inspired by Touhou, alongside EarthBound and Yume Nikki. It's crazy how much of an impact ZUN's series of cute anime girls fighting each other blew up in popularity online.

The first piece of media that used techniques later seen in KZbin Poops was an art piece made by a man named Martin Arnold back in 1998 called "Alone Life Wastes Andy Hardy". Stuart K. Reilly discussed it on KZbin Poop News 1 and apparently the edits were made by physically tampering with the 16mm film reel, such as using a pair of scissors. The episode where Stuart talks about it is called "KZbin Poop News The Movie Strikes Back To The Furture". For context, Stuart says the movie was an adaptation of "To Kill a Mockingbird", but it's actually a film called "Andy Hardy Meets Debutante" from 1940 and the woman featured in the clip is Judy Garland.

I remember watching an old ytp with my friends back in the day, it was called “Elmo Loves The Birds” and I’m not even sure if my friends knew what ytp was at the time and just found it funny. All I can remember was that it was an Elmo’s World ytp, it used voice clips from the Zelda CDI games, and the ending scene of Elmo’s singing the Elmo’s World song was instead Peter Griffin signing “Bird Is The Word” with the Elmo’s World clip played over it. Sadly the video is lost to time and all that remains from what I can tell is a reaction video.

Hey it's me again after the last time I commented! Only this time however, I came to comment about something interesting I found out about a few months ago related to YTP, specifically that of the tennis variety. There is a fascinating channel on KZbin called "Missadaxio," created by a group of people who have been making the same YTP Tennis since 2018. But this isn't your typical YTP Tennis round, no no no. As the channel puts it, two brothers were bored one day and asked "Hey, why not make a never-ending YTP Tennis?" And now, as more people joined the group, more rounds were made, and as of May 2023, no joke, over *8,495 (and counting!!!!!)* rounds have been made! And they still upload *very* regularly, usually multiple times a day. Insane stuff.

Great video man, me and my cousin we've would watch YTPs for years with YTP News and many more. Then we sorta moved on to find memes but still finding ytps. I also will go back to these videos and see if they still hold up to being funny, and even other times when I'm hanging out with my cousin, I'll a funny line from an old ytp, collab or anything related to YTP, he'll jokingly call me an asshole and we'll end up watching those older ytps. I still love YTP, chatting with newer ytper's, the older stuff are still funny but other times you'll just run into a new person in the ytp community trying something new. Also the edits you mentioned, I remember that shit a lot and sadly it's not really much around today but back then there was a lot of edits, again me and my cousin would watch these types of videos, we just find it funny and also amazing how much time these people would put into making a YTP rather it be Fawful or LinkOnDrugs and the less known people who don't put any effort and just becomes a meme cause how much it was shit, (ex: Mah Boi, This.. AWWW GET A NEW COMPOOTER). I thank YTP for actually teaching me how to video edit, I run a youtube channel with my friends where we play games, and in the past I started out with Vegas 7 up to now 14, grew up with Vegas and I'll die with Vegas. Animutation - an early style of shitposting pioneered by Neil Cicierega often credited with being an early influence to YTP humour and editing Halley Labs/Lapfox Trax/Emma Essex - Most of her music under these labels are used throughout YTPMVs such as intensive care unit, rock my emotions, rubber band etc The first uses of popular sound bites in ytp videos (pingas, wtf boom, weegee, etc) - could be something interesting to look into!! From what I know the first Pingas is from ‘robotnik has a viagra overdose’ from 2007 but idk abt the rest

See the weird thing about Sexer is that I didn't find it funny at all the first time I watched it either, but oddly enough the more times I rewatched it (in an attempt to understand why it was being praised by some) the more I found myself finding it funny or laughing at it, up to a certain point of course, but the fact that that happened at all made me change my opinion on Sexer and come to like it back when it was first starting to get talked about. Also, on the topic of Rosen, I have heard in recent years that some Rosen YTPs have started getting striked down again, though I didn't keep that close of an eye on it and last I heard no one was sure if it was his publishing company doing it or if the man himself had sorta doubled back on his approval of YTPs. There are too many YTPs that I've watched that have been lost to time for me to even recollect (many very good spongebob ones unsurprisingly) but there used to be a few really good ones of the first season of pokemon that have been lost much to my dismay, though one by the name of "Ash's Retarded Adventure" disappeared for quite a while then reappeared, though I can't say for sure if it's exactly the same as the original or not due to how much time had passed, but its similar enough that it didn't trigger my memory to think it was something completely different, another one I quite liked that is lost, but not totally impossible to watch due to, of all sites, "Know Your Meme" was one about Arlo's Let's Go Pikmin initial review by Schaffarillis Productions called "Arlo's Sharp Critique of the Pikmin Cinematic Universe", and since its still technically accessible, just unlisted perhaps it's not truly considered a Lost YTP, but it felt worth mentioning regardless. At the end of the video I'm happy to say there wasn't a single layer that I didn't know/was aware of anything in, there was always at minimum one thing I knew or was aware of in each, though save for that last layer it was usually more than one, but there were also plenty of things in the video that were completely new to me which kept everything interesting as it went deeper.

KZbin Poops are still here and are on KZbin. I make them on my other channel. The KZbin Poops did well too. If anyone wants to think with me though, memes MAY OF (Maybe) came from KZbin Poops. It is the same editing style as KZbin Poops. Of course we cant say all memes are KZbin poops BUT, even meme compilations have clips of KZbin Poops. I'm just wondering because i'm UNSURE of this. I made a bunch of memes for Blue's Clues and I put it in a KZbin Poop. This is why I am thinking about this.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention Cartoonlover98. He used to make a lot of prolific poops, like ‘Spingebill Travels the Globe for a Hat’, the ‘You Are A Sad, Strange Little Man’ duo-logy and ‘Star Shrek - The Next Generation’ among others. Though once he quit YTPs and started making his own cartoons, he majorly fell off when he decided to make NSFW of his characters, who weren’t even adults, so I’m a bit shocked there wasn’t even a passing mention of him, not like he deserves it though.

I tried to steer clear of just mentioning a bunch of poopers, but I probably should’ve mentioned him upon retrospect

Layer 8 should’ve had the Drake and Josh Meatball massacre, that one was dark and sad

When it comes to deleting videos, I've always been one to back up stuff. I've kept ytp files on my computer for like 6 years until recently. I've kept the exported files but figured there really is no point in keeping them files about anymore

Tbh when I saw the EmpLemon video on MeiAIDS, I was so confused why the thumbnail was My Sweet Piano. But after watching it, I wish I was there during the 2009 YT Christmas hack

I remember some poops that are lost to time like Sonic and Knux: Tree vs Poop (2006), Hotel Mario Verbs Replaced with Die and Seized (2007), Spaghetti Underground (2007), Death By Boomerang (Death Note YTP, 2008), Link + Dinner = DISASTER (2007), or Sonic Sez Drink Toxic Chemicals (2008), and this one guy's multiple Happy Tree Friends Gourmet Race YTPMVs. I can remember almost all of them line by line clip by clip.

Does anyone remember “Frodo fingers the minstrel of Gondor” or “spongebob vs Patrick vs a series of tubes”? Those were the first I ever watched before I even knew what a KZbin poop was.
