They are cool looking watches but the STP movements are garbage. I had mine for two weeks before the movement ate itself.

I assume it's overstated but the reputation of the STP's scares me off them. I have a sea-chron but it has a selitta and owned a sea wolf GMT but it was a soprod. Probably wouldn't ever buy an STP powered model. Hopefully the new movement fixes reliability issues.

@@nikc1313 I hope so too...even after servicing, mine still has gritty feeling winding action and a crown that needs to be convinced to fully extend. If it craps out again I'm buying a top grade Sellita and swapping it out myself.
