Cool review! Can the auto start/stop feature be turned off in any drive mode or is it only automatically defeated when in Sport Mode?

@@LJsGarage Yes, luckily for sure! I also like that BMW kept the iDrive too, so you don't have to do everything using the touchscreen. That's one of the things that made me shy away from the new Range Rover Velar's.

This car is legit. As an Audi fan it’s def better than the q7. Yea the MMI sucks but c’est la vie. The drive is super comfortable and the hands free cruise control is really top notch

I've driven an Acura RDX, a Mercedes Benz GLC 350h, a Lexus RX350h, an Audi Q5 hybrid and a Mazda CX50. I'm also considering an Acura MDX and this BMW X5 xDrive 40i. I'm 60, family grown, make enough money, and drive 10-12,000 miles per year. Having driven lots of these cars, which one would you recommend? I read stuff about the 4 cylinder hybrids and whether they are reliable, that's the reason I am considering the 6 cylinder options. I would be interested in your view. Thanks, KB

This is one of the most competitive segments and all great choices you listed! I'm biased and put the X5 up top, Q5 after, cx50, 350h, rx350h, and then RDX. I prefer 6cyls as well and haven't found a 4cyl I love. Even in the Lexus 4cyl hybrids are decent but I'm a pretty peppy driver

All reviewers should point out that for the 2024 and up X5, adaptive cruise control is not standard--YOU MUST BUY THE DRIVER ASSISTANCE PROFESSIONAL PACKAGE FOR ADAPTIVE CONTROL, OTHERWISE IT COMES WITH OLD-PLAIN-JANE STANDARD CRUISE CONTROL!

I just purchased 2025 BMW X540 I Burgundy color I came from an Audi SQ five and the seats are much more comfortable in the BMW. There is just so much to have to learn. It is a little overwhelming. I have most of the packages you talked about, including Screens in the backside windows for my puppy I do have a question. I can’t figure out I want all four doors to open up at the same time and without opening them up with my doorhandle? Also, can you explain a little more about the symbols on the side of the key farm , thanks your video was very good and I didn’t have to sit through 10 minutes worth of commercials Denise

Thanks - MSport Pro is nice, but it also makes you add Premium Package - is this correct? I think I am just going to buy a black kidney grill for my X5 Carbon Black Since there really is no performance aspect of the Pro package - correct me if I am wrong.

Pro adds brakes and exhaust so that's a little something but not absolutely a must by any means. You are correct it adds the premium and Msport automatically to get premium pro. Thanks for that question

The black grille and trim (760) are included in the M Sport Package (ZMP) and does not require the M Sport Professional (ZMQ) or the Premium Package (ZPP).

Geek info... A quick google shows an avg. jet ski weights 850 bs. With a towing capacity of 7200lbs., that's 8.47 jet skis.

Does the AC blow through the cell phone's wireless charging pad? My car doesn't and it leads to the cell phone overheat then the wireless Apple carplay stops working
