If you think about it, all of this happened roughly in the spam of two years before Ash's 11th birthday. I know people say he's in his 20s or something but that's if we're counting real world time, those same people also don't bring up the other characters not aging and only Ash. Inside the series Ash has accomplished all of this before his 11th birthday and that's impressive

I think his age is closer to 14. A year had been confirmed to have passed in the original series with him celebrating his anniversary with pikachu. So hes atleast 11 by the time he goes to hoenn. Then theres the next couple regions. We can say that each took a couple months instead if entire years so that would be like 2-3 more years and then brunette gave birth and the babys a couple months old so thats another year. So to me hes 10-11 in gen 1 to 2, 11-12 in gens 3 to 4, 12-13 in gens 5 to 6, then either 13 or 14 in alola and then by journeys hes either 14 or 15

I didn't know ash was gonna leave and now I'm heartbroken. My parents told me by the time I was 2, I could name all 151 pokemon. Pokemon has been in my life ALL of my life. The show began airing almost a year after I was born but I absorbed it into my identity by the time I was 2 apparently. I remember in preschool I wore a full Pokemon themed outfit for show and tell with my Pikachu my dad won me from a claw machine. It does make me sad I don't enjoy the games as much each release that goes by, but I still get super nostalgic watching the indigo league and orange islands, sometimes a bit of Johto.

I believe he is forever tied to Dialga and Palkia because he seemingly never ages. By the time he gets to Alola it's like him and Pikachu have amnesia and forgot how to battle. His tie to so many legendaries is no coincidence. Him being controlled by time and space makes him a sloppy trainer and why he lets all his strong Pokemon go. His role is so much more than winning any league though. It's to be in the right place at the right time.
