This is why I love Lee: it’s all about the dog’s happiness. Takes them to the groomer to get clean, soft & “presentable”. Immediately takes them to beach to get sandy paws and salty, wet fur 😂 Get those waves, Bentley. This is a dog’s life. 🤗 🌊 🐕 ❤️

What is incredible with all the Asher House videos is how none of the dogs are jealous of the others, or want to dominate. Neither are they jealous/protective when Lee gives attention to one of the pack. Not a snap or a bared fang! Really cool dogs and a huge credit to Lee's leadership and relationship with them.

Yes, it's incredible. They're always really curious to meet a new friend/packmate, and never seems to be any jealousy or feeling threatened by the potential changes to the dynamics of the group. He must spend a lot of time with each of them, making sure they all feel confident in their place in the family and that they don't ever need to compete with each other for attention or long term security. It feels like an overwhelming number of dogs at this point, but he makes it look pretty effortless in these videos

lol we just don't get to see that part of it. would not be the doggy heaven we need to believe in if we did. Not saying that is wrong, no point showing us his dogs have disagreements. like why would be film our family arguing and save that for the future? memories are supposed to be good, he's giving us memories of his life with his dogs and the good that comes from the rescues. the only bad we are supposed to see is where he took them from. :) remember how much good he does, and how happy his dogs are and help him to make more dogs lives the best ever.

Bentley knows he can trust you from the beginning as he didn't bite you, they are smart as they feel your energy. Love the Bentley series. I thought, as a Great Pyrenees, that she would never get along with the other dogs but have to live her life at the paddock with the pigs, llamas and donkeys. So glad she is part of the pack. One small request, please update your photos of your dogs on your website. I love seeing their faces and learning their names. Thanks for this beautiful channel. It is amazing to watch the larger dogs keep track of the little one's when they are in, or close to, the water. You can really see Lily's herding genetics as well.

Bentley is the herd protector. They use them for this purpose around where I live. Lillie's breed were trained as alpine rescue dogs up until the end of the 19 century. They can sniff out a human presence in up to 6 metres depth of snow.

My Great Pyrenees acted the same way when I took her to Lake Michigan and the waves would come up to her. She enjoyed being on the beach but wanted nothing to do with the water going over her feet. I can't wait to see Bentley without having been shaved down (although looking at her she could pass a as Maremma). I want to see her with the coat that she is supposed to have for proper heating and cooling (fluffy butt is what I call my Pyr). I am so glad she has warmed up to everyone she will be so much more happy with friends, although she is still going to want to guard the livestock since that is what she had already been doing, but she may take it upon herself to make the littles and even some of the other dogs as those she needs to protect.

Just watching Bentley again, out in your element, reminds me so much of my Maremma (I know you think she's GP, but I beg to differ). I brought my guy home at 10 weeks, off the farm, from his birthplace in a literal sheep barn...now 10 weeks is a far cry from adapting to a social existence than Bentley, granted, but I still see the farm dog in him and he's 8 years old! It is not mistrust that she is feeling when she shy's away from new things, it is complete innocence and genetic conditioning to be aware. Bentley is proving though, the ingrained desire for companionship. While these dogs live sedentary amongst their sheep, they have their sheep; thus companionship. With a good human, like this guy, guardian dogs also learn companionship with people beyond loyalty. I so wish I would have been better equipped to document my Maremma's 8 years, so that my observations make sense. Anyway, great day at the beach! You are all so blessed.

Bentley was always beautiful, even before the grooming. Now she is a runway-worthy, plush pup! I can imagine how soft she must feel. I love that Lee said, "I'm sorry, I'll be right back. You're going to love it." Maybe just a tiny bit of precautionary guilt, not knowing what to expect? But consistent with her temperament, Bentley did a great job! She was totally chill when Lee picked her up. It's hard not to love her and I'm sure the groomers felt the same way. Great job, Bentley!

My dogs’ first trip to the beach….hysterical. Afraid of the sand and had to drag him on the sand. People were watching, I told them it’s his first time but, when he got to the water…..he loves a good swim. He went nuts running around and that was funny too.

🤣😂😷😂, A few of my Siblings and I, understand how Bentley felt when she saw the strong waves coming to shore. A lot of power, when we were travelling through Nova Scotia Canada 🇨🇦, we visited Peggy’s Cove during the time one could go into the lighthouse; looking out towards the Atlantic ocean, waters looked calm, but being close up definitely could see the power of the water. I was so glad to know that our Parents taught us all how to respect all of earth’s environment and to take note of the changes. Thanks for sharing Bentley’s story and your packs Amen

I just watched a dog the same breed as Bentley go to the groomers less than 12 hrs ago. This dog lived on a farm and looked after the livestock 24/7.. The groomer used special brushes to get rid of the bulk of that fur behind the back legs. She also shaved around the butt hole and under so that no dags got stuck there. I notice your boy might need that done too. Bentley is freakin' adorable.
