DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LAWYER | Slow Work Day, How I feel As A Black Lawyer....
Today’s vlog shows work day in my life as a corporate lawyer at a big law firm while working from home. As a transactional lawyer, work can be cyclical but you still must work towards meeting your billable hour requirement which can be stressful. On top of being slow, I've been having a rough week given all that is going on in America today with respect to the racial injustices against black people.

Big facts! Navigating "corporate america" can be a challenge, especially for us of color. Being mindful of words, work output, and how we are perceived by our white counterparts is a consistent thought. Even worse, at times, we question ourselves about coming off as "too black". Not to mention, composing ourselves in those offices during times like these. Many of us forced to hold true beliefs and feelings inside because we know/fear it will fall on ears that either arent prepared to hear it, or just do not, truly, care to make change. So true! Fighting with you, fighting with US👌🏽✊🏽✊🏽!!!!!

40 year old Air Force vet here, and future aviation attorney. I’ve been immersed in all aspects of aviation for 20 years and I want to bring my experiences/skills into the law arena. I’m literally at the beginning of this journey. I’m currently in the process of scheduling placement exams for undergrad. I understand the immense challenges ahead, but I won’t quit, once I start. This is a beautiful video and Iunderstand how you feel! working in "Corporate America" can be very exhausting because you encounter so many people from clients, bosses, co workers, etc. That don't even believe in BLM or they say something during a meeting that is highly offensive and what's so tiring to me is that people can't recognize "The Concept of Why" why you shouldn't say that, why that is offensive to a specific culture, why do you refuse to enhance your knowledge that will allow you to not only understand people's plights, but that will give you a better perspective on a situation.

Girl i go through my ups and downs but i started using nizoral to address my textured skin and once I got that under control I used first aid beauty (pads, moisturizer and cleanser) and neutrogena (pore cleanser/mask) products for now on an everyday basis.
