I can't find much to criticize on this for, other than the features makes this unaffordable for a small op like me (i.e., I hope they launch a smaller version some day). The graphics are fantastic and it's fun. Available now.

I like the idea of there being missions instead of races. I’m not too familiar with the FNF movies so I feel like it’s unfair for me to judge how faithful this game is to them compared to the older FNF titles (OG, Drift, SuperCars) which were all racers. However, there are some things that I feel are not good. First of all, I feel like if the timer was on the screen the whole game instead of at the last 10 seconds, it would probably give me a reason to hurry up, instead of scrambling to beat the guy in front of me. Then again, it might put too much pressure on players. I also feel like the AI is really aggressive. I played this game quite a bit at the show and there were times where I failed a mission because an AI driver cut me off at the last second, which was frustrating to say the least. Maybe it could be an operator-adjustable option. On that topic, I also don’t really like how you HAVE to win first place in order to complete the mission. If you’re playing by yourself that’s fine, but if you’re playing with others, which most are probably going to do, then I feel like the person who finishes ahead of the others should have it completed, regardless of whether or not an AI beats them to the end. I will say though, that when a mission is completed and if that mission was done with multiple players, it will count as completed for all players, which is nice. It’s almost like it’s a team effort. I also think the game offers good replay value just on the missions alone. In my opinion, however, there’s a point where it goes a bit too far. When you complete all the missions, it unlocks “Extreme” versions of them, and then once you complete those, it unlocks “Extreme x2,” and I assume it just keeps going up. I spent more time playing this at the show then I’d like to admit just to see this happen. An actual ending after completing the missions (and none of that “Extreme” stuff) would have felt more satisfying IMO. On an unrelated note, the female voice that says “Continue now” does sound kind of seductive 😂

No, Raw Thrills games were NOTHING faithful to fnf, the older FNF by Rawthrills were just Cruis'n gameplay with FNF cars and licence and royality free music added, there is no sign of other things from FNF, not even characters like Letty or Dom. And for me the male voices were seductive in FNF games xD but the voice acting really got better than FNF Drift which had even a very crappy audio mastering.

this qr setup is soooooo much better than what igs has setup before, it was a headache trying to get igs games to do this right because of 2 annoying factors which are 1: facebook tie in, I tried to get into facebook a few years ago when igs released speed driver 5 and they would not let me in and I tried like 7 times, 2: internet connections, speed driver 5 and asphalt 9 have to be connected to the internet to use the qr code system and I have yet to find either game being connected to the internet so I can’t save data for those games period, I absolutely hated that setup and am very happy to see raw thrills showing us how it’s done with a much simpler setup,oh one more minor point: you don’t need a dedicated app to use the qr code either (this would be the easiest part of it all however), if anyone has tried this before I want to know how difficult it was for other people.

shiiit, this is pretty fun, its still got that sick airtime and visuals from cruisn series and the road hazards reminiscent of fnf movies, would love to play it if i get a chance at it

Big and impressive looking. But. What is the overall use or impact of the top screen? 95% of the time it displays clouds and tree tops- not necessary for gameplay.

It does provide a kind of panoramic immersion that you feel while playing it, kind of like the side screens on F355 Theater or TX-1 - ultimately not necessary but it adds that little effect+the impressiveness of the cabinet to draw attention. But the game would be just fine as a single screen too.

japan already have a better saving system then qr codes its called cards

Sure, no one seems to use QR codes here, but companies do them anyways. That said, there was one US company who used to be big on cards called GlobalVR. Their system allowed you to use any magnetic strip card to save locally, but because it wasn't roaming, it wasn't a huge success.
