Honestly though. It's okay to go your own pace, rather than "kill yourself," trying to go a pace faster than your current fitness allows. It's patience and listening to your body that will help you improve, not just hitting certain splits.

Seriously. It's bizarre watching these elite level runners eat like shit. If you're going to train like a champ you should eat like a champ. Salmon, steak, eggs, organ meat, fermented foods, clean foods, clean water, grass fed animals, bone broth, deenz, etc. I can't imagine the level TAS would be at if he ate cleaner.
@azteacher264 жыл бұрын
@FromRussiaWithLove Imagine thinking that food is only about calories and sodium intake. Junk food isn't bad because it's salty and calorie dense. It's bad for a myriad of far more critical reasons.
@estanislaomendivil25814 жыл бұрын
@@azteacher26@FromRussiaWithLove you both got points, I train as a semi elite athlete (1'52" 800 at 19yo) and I feel that you can eat something a little unhealthy once in a while (still I believe I eat healthier than him so maybe he's got to tune that). Appart from that, I'm from south america so most food Is healthier here making it easier

Definitely think a video with Coach Mackey would be interesting, from his social he just seems like an incredibly intelligent thoughtful and caring guy who's much deeper then just a stereotypical running coach where running is there whole lives. Would love to hear a conversation between you two and how training is, his philosophy, and what makes this group different from the rest as your career with the Beasts progresses.This was a really cool video thinking about some of the little side conversations you could hear especially towards the end. They call you the King for a reason because you come up with the goods like this video 👑😂. Keep going keep inspiring

It will be interesting to see how Spencer does as an 800m/1500m runner on this type of training. From the videos posted so far, it looks like all the workouts are at his 5-10k pace or slower, which is unusual for a middle distance runner, especially with competitions coming up soon.

The ending really stuck with me, as I am not at the same fitness level of a few of my teammates and tend to fall behind in all of our runs. You have to find the balance between pushing yourself and overdoing it, even if your teammates run faster. Also a good teammate encourages their teammates to be the best they can be, no matter where they are at
