Same here. A man of his word , a man of respect and hard work. Like him or hate him, you have to respect him. Something HBK never did when they were on top and Shawn's lucky he never got a well deserved ass whooping. But they have made up since then and now Shawn knows how to be respectful ( enough at least ) and Bret has buried the hatchet with multiple grudges he held. Like he said its better not to hold all that negativity and hatred in your heart cus it takes a toll on you, and it's better to forgive and move forward and remember the good times heavily outweigh the bad with most his grudges anyway. How can you not respect this man?

@@michaelpaiva9924 Everything you said was true but what others have said about Bret is true as well. Now, don't get me wrong I love Bret, I still do, he's still my favorite WWF Champion but Bret does come off as very self centered, the entire match has to revolve around him and he really cares about how his character comes off to the fans. In other words he prided himself as being a hero and that's fine but some think he took it too far and was too into himself.

I'd put money on the fact that Vince threw some cash at Hogan to Keep Bret Down at WCW. When Bret arrived at WCW they should have put the strap on him right away, he was white hot but I'm sure Hogan put the kabosh on that. He wouldn't want Bret stealing any limelight from him
How much? Because however much it is, I will take it.

it had nothing to do with Vince McMahon. it was all Hogan and Bischoff. Bischoff was too dumb and Hogan was too self-serving. Even vince russo cant be blamed for any of it, he quite liked Bret.

Hogan put his big boot through the front door of TNA and then delivered the leg drop over the real talent there with Bischoff coming up his rear talking about things that he has no fucking idea about then passing the microphone to Hogan so he could talk about how much of a Hollywood star he thought he was before delivery the final leg drop to the company before walking out the door.

With Bret Hart, it’s nothing but good news when we get to see his true character and the real him come out, The opposite is true the more we learn about Vince McMahon. I believe if someone like Bret Hart was in charge of the WWF it would still be doing great, and just as importantly, a lot of the wrestlers, would still be doing great with healthcare and pensions
