One thing that was not covered in the video which is very important for 360's in to not counter rotate around the last 180. This is a very common mistake and while it can work to let you land a 360 moving up to higher rotating spins like 540's will be very difficult. If you don't know what counter rotation is it's when you twist your upper body one way and your lower body the other way. This can be used to rotate a little very fast and save yourself from underrotating/overrotating. However, many people become over dependent on counter rotation while doing 360's which is not good. Along with keeping your head looking over your shoulder (mentioned in the video) also make sure to keep your arms and hands still in the air. If you are struggling with this try some T-set 360's where you put your arms out straight like a T and keep them there throughout the whole rotation. Hopefully this helps! Try a lot of 180's/switch 180's and really focus on popping before you rotate and only setting the rotation with your upper body. (T-sets can be helpful for this) Then try some 360's in your ski boots and with your skis on on flat ground (its fine if you can't get a full 360 around it's just to get the feel of things) Then find a jump you're comfortable with and send it! (Again focus on popping before you rotate and only setting the rotation with your upper body) I'm sure you'll land it clean :)

What do you recommend to overcome the fear of "going blind?" Every time I try I get maybe half way around and then my body fights me and I stall out. It's like taking my eyes off of downhill is certain death or something. FYI, I can 180 forwards and switch no problem since I can keep my eyes downhill the whole time. Thanks.

You can do every trick with regular skis. You will be better at them, because it will be more difficult at first, but when/if you get park skis (most park skiers use regular skis anyway) it will be easier for you to rotate, since park skis are light.
