The pitch shift also contains the "Fine Tune" option (under "transpose") which makes microtonal (i.e. quarter tones and even cents) adjustments. I use this far more than the transposing option, especially when recording vocals or analog instruments (strings, winds, vocals, etc.). Occasionally even an electric guitar has a string or note out of tune and the "Fine Tune" brings stray (overly sharp or flat) notes (which almost every recording will have several of at least) back on pitch. That's how I use pitch shift about 99% of the time, very helpful!

I tried the Fine Tune on a duplicated Bass track and got some nice chorusing effects

@@TheBandGuide One tool (plug in actually) that I have been playing around with a TON, is the Phat FX multi effect plugin. Any chance you will do a bunch of tutorials on that stock plugin? That one plugin has been my go-to stock plugin that I’ve now modified my templates to include it on most instrument tracks lol… but I have a feeling I’m still not using it to its full potential… if you ever feel bored and want to do 5 minute tutorials on that one, I won’t be offended 😅😅

Great tips, it would be helpful to have a graphic representation of the keys in use. i.e cmd-D, opt-A. Thank you

Yo would you consider letting us hear that pitch shifted region with no shift? So we can hear what you started with and compare it to the new vibe? I loved getting to hear at -12 db but hearing at 0 (unity? Or is that only db?) would be super dope as well!

Yahooo!!🎉 have you noticed uploading more frequently is helping get more non-subscriber views by chance? I’m just curious if you checked or saw anything!
@TheBandGuide Жыл бұрын
To some extent! It's an uptick in views all around. The non-subscriber views seem to spike more when it does well with the algorithm or on reddit/FB

@@TheBandGuide thank you! And thanks as always for the vids, especially the new logic ones 😃
