Hi everyone, I watched the video and was really interested in finding out what actually happened and going through the stuff people wrote in the comments section is just completely wrong. The previous owner of this house bought a pub and converted it into a big house for his family but unfortunately died a few years later moving in. He was a young businessman with multiple businesses. It's very sad that the family lost their son, brother, husband and father...I wish the family all the best in life and hopefully their live is better now after this tragedy. For those who actually broke in the house and stole their belongings I hope you guys rot in hell.

I’ve befriended someone who’s mom inherited multiple real estate but she was a terrible hoarder, they would live in one house and it would become trashed like the upstairs of this one, they were terribly messy and instead of cleaning up, they would slowly just start staying at a different property if it came available, periodically going back to grab stuff until they stop needing anything from the other house. Like this one, they still paid utility (and property taxes). It was mostly just held on to with the idea they would eventually get around to doing something with the other house, repairing damages etc. but just perpetually procrastinate and be busy with their new lives and had plenty of money so they had everything they needed and no real motivation to take care of the other investments. Just terrible, terrible squandering of a large inheritance because of mental disorders, depression or whatever. When I knew them they were in their 4th takeover of the 9 properties they owned. When we first started being friends my friend had to run into the previous house to grab something and asked me to wait in the car because it was really embarrassing. Once we became really close I finally saw inside the houses, we had wanted to try and clean one up to rent it ourselves but the task was too overwhelming. Each house was like a time capsule from the years they lived in it. Trash and mail and dirty dishes, spare change, and like in this video, very valuable items, hoards of cash. Designer bags. Travelers checks. Diamond Jewelry. Being a shopaholic and a hoarder kind of go hand and hand. She was obviously suffering mentally. They also had a lot of Pomeranians that would pee everywhere. It had been 15 years and the clothes of the rich grandparents that died still hung in the closet of the original house untouched. But in was the inheritor and her children and dogs who trashed it. Followed by the other 2 and then the 4th was well on its way.

Could be Indian or Arab Muslim. The huge floor space is for those persian carpets. And floor cushions. Couches are for the older people. The necklace was a tasbih. In one bedroom there was a wall hanging of a Qur'anic verse. And the Allah&Muhammad wall hangings too. Plus the dresses and jewelry. That's definitely Arab jewelry. I think what happened is that the father/male head of the family passed away/ was imprisoned abruptly. The rest of the family maybe had to move back to their home country. Maybe it was before Covid. And with Covid delays they were either unable to return by themselves or abandoned their old life altogether. Highly likely that they were either hiding from their government or they got into trouble with some govt somewhere over illegal activities. Most likely oil cartels.

There is nothing confusing here to me. It has all of the signs of a foreclosure. Confirmed if you read the video description. IMO there are 3 types of people when it comes to foreclosures: One waits until the last minute, and when the timer runs out they only can grab a small portion of their things, end up missing things they would have liked to take, and things get tossed around in the mad dash. The bank gets the house in this video. The second is well prepared for the inevitable and will have everything out; everything that is not nailed down. This guy takes the light bulbs and batteries in the smoke detectors. The bank gets an empty shell. The third is really angry and takes what they want or can, and then does as much damage as possible. Bathrooms are flooded, toilets clogged, and walls are destroyed. The bank gets ownership of an unlivable money pit. Based on the lemon juice expiring in 2020, I am guessing they left in 2019 or possibly even the later part of 2018. I can't speak to the place where this is located, but here in the states evictions and foreclosures really were not a thing during "the Vid". Long before "the Vid" our Pizza Huts were closing left and right. Maybe their investments were going south as well? Clearly they had money at some point, or at least good enough credit to finance quite a shopping habit. I have seen houses foreclosed on sit empty for years before the bank finally gets around to dealing with it. An acquaintance of mine (type 2) was out a few days before the bank was to take possession. He kept an eye on the vacated house and it was nearly two years before the bank did anything with it. One near my house sat for over three. By the time the bank got to it all of the plumbing was destroyed when things froze in the winter. Prior to that it had been in fairly good condition. It is just sad that this process takes so long that more damage is done just because of simple neglect. We all know that it was not raining in the living room when these people lived there, and that kind of damaged did not happen overnight.

This used to be a pub with rooms in Buckinghamshire. It closed in 2013 when it was converted to a private residence. I live very close by so I know the location. I would not want this a private residence as it has a busy main road at the front and the train line at the back of the house (even though the garden is large). The original buyers who converted the pub into a family home wanted 13 bedrooms upstairs, 1 downstairs and 4 living rooms in total. I used to swing into this place often on the way to or from watching Wycombe Wanderers and it was a pub called the Rose and Crown (and later on as The Chiltern) until it closed in 2014. It was bought by a local businessman who got planning permission to redesign into a 14 bed house! The individual who purchased the property unfortunately passed away aged just 35 in 2016. He was known in the local community around High Wycombe. Overall, a very sad watch tbh as many good times had in the RAC and ultimately it has been, understandably, abandoned following a family tragedy 😢

If the taxes are paid property owners can do anything within the law. Property rights are the bedrock of a free society. eir Once you start eroding that with laws about duration of use, or inhabitance, is when you get politicians and lawyers figuring out wait to screw everyone out of their property.

I've been working at a body shop for a bit now and extra tips I learned was if you're painting the door, it's better to take off the mirror and belt molding (the trim at the bottom of the window) for a better paint job in the end. The mirror can get in the way, and if you're unlucky, the clear coat could stick in that gap between the door and the belt molding.

OK, the fact that was a pub at one time doesn't detract from the fact that there is something fishy that occured here. After leaving the military I did a few years in the security game. So speaking from experience, if anyone needs that amount of CCTV? it's because they don't want any unexpected visits from the boys in blue, or you have some serious enemies and you fear for your families lives. The way they left so much stuff behind tells me that this was a, " grab only what you need and leave everything else, we go in 10 minutes" scenario. One thing I have learnt from 2 marriage's? A woman doesn't want to leave anything behind. The same with kids, they always want their toy's. From the name above the kids bed and the writing on the wall suggests the family are from the middle East. The amount of empty shoe boxes found COULD be explained, it you want to hide something valuable , Hide it in plains sight. Like your shoe collection . 🤔🥴🤔 If this was a legitimat move by the family? Why didn't they hire a van and and get everything? 🤔🤔🥴🤔🤔. My first wife of 20 years was shoe mad, she never bothered about price, she bought shoes that she liked , whether they were £4.99 or £100, she had over 60 pairs, many of them unworn, but every time we moved house, she made sure those damn shoes came with us. 🤭🤭. So, for a woman to leave so much behind means that she hasn't any connection with her personal items, or the family are so wealthy she will just buy more after her move, or she was so scared that she left it all behind. Of course there is the fact that the local yobs haven't ransacked this property already, or the whole vlog is fake, a set up in order to get more subscribers. 🤔🤔🤔. And by the way, 🥰🥰 I loved the tour of Jonny Depps abandoned mansion. I wonder why it was never finished, or why it hasn't been sold as a project after these years.

I do however agree with you I do think that the homeowners whenever they would not take they at least should have donated or given away to people instead of it being left there being left to rot basically, and if someone does come along and buy the property everything in that properties getting thrown out.

The explorer's are more obsessed with discussing odors and smells than investigating the evidence of what happened. Terribly boring guides! 😴

I agree with you, more could be found out about the people if they looked closer to the wall hangings and the ladies clothes and jewelry. They called tasbeeh (Muslim rosary) that was handing on the side of a wall hanging, a necklace. I guess a huge family lived in this house and they were probably Muslims from South Asia (Pakistan, India and Bangladesh). Wall hangings contain Quranic verses. I understand putting abandoned houses online that do not have inhabitants, but this was so recent, they may well have been overseas and unable to get back during covid. This could have been ransacked by people other than them. I feel like this is closer to an invasive burglary and an advertisment of things to steal, than exploring an abandoned old house. The owners of this house could feel extremely violated seeing you going through their home and possessions and children's bedrooms.
