hey everyone todays video is so good, I happen to explore the Gambino crime families notorious mafia boss John Gotti's abandoned mansion. This abandoned home is a full estate with a 7,000 square foot house detached garage, triple level pool/hot tub/bar with a guest house detached garage and horse stable with in-law suite. Gotti's mansion was on 5 acres and even has 6 abandoned cars and a jetski as well. We found so much in this awesome home including a secret room filled with designer brands and even dress suits that belong to the dapper don.

This house was never owned by John Gotti. It was originally owned by another mobster by the name of Carmine "The Bull" Agnello. He was an enforcer for the Gambino Crime Family during John Gotti's tenure as Don (Boss). Carmine married John Gotti's daughter, Victoria, in 1984. Carmine was sentenced to nine years in prison in 2001 for racketeering and arson. Victoria filed for divorce while he was in prison on the grounds of constructive abandonment and was awarded the house. Victoria Gotti has been trying to sell the house since 2008 with no interested buyers. The house was then threatened with foreclosure after Victoria fell behind on her mortgage payments in 2009. The house then hit headlines in 2016 after the FBI raided it in relation to a tax fraud investigation. Victoria Gotti and her brothers officially left the property in 2016 and are still trying to sell to this day. The current price tag is sitting at $2.6m.

IMO the reason the staircases look funny, especially from the second floor, is because the back wall from the 2nd floor front bedroom extends too close to it. The wall should be much further back away from the staircases, perhaps making that front room a closet or even a bathroom.

Crazy to see that this thing is abandoned.. if John Gotti was my father and left this mansion, there's no way I could abandon it. If I didn't want to live in it, it'd be maintained, rented out, and/or even turned into something like a museum, bed/breakfast, something. The cost of keeping up a mansion is too much money and just not worth it... most mansions have to spend $20k to $50k a month or more to keep it up with bills, electricity, cleaning, house service, utlities,water, butlers and property taxes... it really just is not worth the cost and maintenance unless you are some heiress billionaire. Even a millionaire will eventually go broke having to keep up a mansion because keep in mind, the majority of millionaires in America are just regular millionaires having a networth of $2 to $10 million. They're not multimillionaires nor mega millionaires having a net worth of $200 million or more

I saw Victoria sitting at that desk so many times when I saw her show. I was watching one day when the feds came and tried to come in. She sent them away in tears. They tried to push past her son. I don’t remember which one. He was so mad she had to get him to go upstairs so he didn’t get arrested. She said I don’t know what you want now? You’ve searched this house without us in it twice. Once with us in it. Now you come with no warrant? I don’t know what more you want? Her sister was living there in the guest house. Victoria was living in the house with the boys. She said that day if they don’t leave us alone I’m going to have to go somewhere else. She would talk to her husband on the phone who was also “away”! She was running out of money cause her husband was also “away”! Her boys were running around like wild Indians wrecking cars and bringing friends out to swim. If I could go in there I would ask for a Chandelier. I’ve seen her show where her and her sister , maybe sister in law were in the pool. The boys came out to swim.

I too thought that was Victoria Gotti’s house. I used to watch the show and just loved her. I was amazed at how youthful and what a beautiful woman she was. I can imagine all the meals, children growing up, tears, and laughter in this house. I’m surprised this house hasn’t sold its a beautiful place. Beautiful house and property. My first car was a 1961 Chevy Belair like the one you found. It was the same color, with a pale blue top. that house has been going through some remodeling in the recent years. there is drywall mud all over the place , the paint looks extremely well and if a house in the north isnt heated you will start to form some kind of mold when the weather hits it. There are zero signs of water damage anywhere and many more signs of some type of remodeling. Great video and would love to see before and after pics or video of this place.

I was always surprised that Victoria held onto the house for as long as she did. Having battled foreclosure for years. Her house was in need of many repairs both shown on her show and from what few people have said that have been in the house. After all these years finally she lost the house. Wow!

I’d just left a comment inquiring as to what happened to the house, it Victoria still had it, if one of the boys did, if they were putting it on the market to sell, or the bank had taken it and it had gone abandoned! I’m guessing the bank finally got it, sat for awhile, they couldn’t sell it for some odd reason? Just the history and namesake should have been a good selling point - but I suppose not during a pandemic, inflation going into super inflation, how different things are still right now & how a lot of ppl are struggling! It’s kind of sad bc I see there’s still a bunch of personal items in the home and it’s sad thinking of them being tossed in the trash, Stolen, vandalized or whatever and then being lost to all time, when it’s from a historically important family w everything they were involved in and everything that happened!! We really need to do a better job of taking better care of things and not letting things just get forgotten or thrown in the trash, esp if it has some kind of historical importance, cultural importance or other kind of importance/significance!! *le sigh*

That hand painted picture in the garage of the main house was of Carmine from back when the filmed "Growing Up Gotti" there.I saw a couple episodes of it and thought the place was familiar so I just looked it up.It's sad to see it's falling apart.Maybe they'll 'get an offer they can't refuse' for it.

Exactly! I recognized it from that show as well. Wonder if it was taken by the feds? Although, I don't think they'd let it fall into disrepair (they'd sell it to get some of the money back). Very curious....also, in regards to that staircase and the awkward placement of it, I never noticed that when watching the show, which makes me think that even back then (early 2000's?), the producers knew what a architectural faux pas it was!

Regardless of whose house it was yadda yadda it’s an exciting find and the lifestyle is intriguing. My father and some of my other family lived a certain type of life that you think only happens in the movies and I find this stuff SO Fascinating. We aren’t Italian mafia but this Native American girls family were just as wild. 😂
