What I found to be psychologically interesting in the interview clip about Onlyfans, is that the "you are mine" aspect of relationships (in regard to monogamous relationships anyways) tends to be a spot on assessment of how the partners (both male and female) tend to view those relationships. You hear it all the time.. "My man", "My woman", "I'm off the market", etc etc you get the idea people do quite often refer to themselves or their partners as PROPERTY in how they portray their relationship dynamic to the people around them. Now of course A.T. will put his completely misogynistic ridiculous spin on it, but he did, in his own terrifying way, touch on how far too many people view relationships and their partners. Whether they admit it or not. I mean "BE MINE" is a fucking Valentines Day card this is burned into the psyche of most people since we are children. It just drives me nuts because a partner should ALWAYS be a choice... never an obligation. I could write a novel on why I think "cheating" is such a weird concept to me, or why people feel that romantic relationships must be exclusive... no other relationship in the world is looked at that way. But I will spare you here. This guy is a douche. 100%. But that one statement did touch on an interesting subject. At least in my brain.

Wow. What a great observation and so well rationalized! You’re right that that “property” mindset probably bothers us much more than the hypothetical woman who would date him and do only fans. But again I’m with you, there are ways to express things.

I’m not sure a truly solid romantic relationship can be built without monogamy. Emotional and sexual intimacy build trust through vulnerability, and if that’s being given to multiple partners it seems like it would cheapen it. Almost like splitting a dollar into quarters and then giving the quarters to four people, they all get less of you and by nature of that the relationship loses a measure of depth and meaning
@benscott93672 жыл бұрын
@@CalebSpears1 Thank you for your perspective! And it is not unique. So your first sentence I will not debate. Those are your feelings and I respect that! As for your second sentence, I respectfully disagree. Now you did say "seems like" so I acknowledge you were not stating that as fact, more as perspective, I am simply offering that I have had different experiences. Vulnerability is not reserved JUST for a romantic partner. It branches out to your family, friends, and I would argue more so for these people because as we both know quite often for many people romantic partners come and go. As for your 3rd sentence, that is exactly the mentality that confuses me, because nobody would ever suggest that in their relationships with friends or family. It would be ridiculous. So I am just very confused as why that is the mentality towards romantic relationships.
@benscott93672 жыл бұрын
@@CalebSpears1 I will also say that for a long time poly communities have been more in the closet than even lgbtq communities. Because the "one partner" thing has been hammered into most people since they were children. All of the movies and TV shows are about finding "the one". Even though they exist everywhere, poly communities have no real representation in any of popular media. I would submit to you my friend that while monogamy works for some people, and I applaud that, it doesn't work for everybody. Even for monogamous people. That's why cheating is even a thing, and why so many people have divorces or multiple marriages. Love is just love. And yes, you can absolutely be in love with more than one person at a time. Nobody argues this point. People just do not understand and are not educated on what options actually exist to them. So while I will never say monogamous relationships cannot work, because of course they can, what I am suggesting is they do not have to be the standard. And they most definitely do not define what a "truly solid romantic relationship" is. Not a good enough track record to do so. Anyways back to the original point, the "property" mentality is not healthy and toxic regardless of what your relationship dynamic is. I think we will both agree there. Have an awesome day Caleb!

We both had an equal # of skills, equal intelligence, equal ability to listen and compromise, equal but different styles of teaching logic and moral values to our children, equal effort to support our partners desired goals in life, and equal but different ways to give love to each other. I can't remember our ever wondering if one was the boss or the most important person because there was no competition as we were happy when the other person was better in our weak areas as that made the duo better than the individual. Well, as respectfully as I can say this while still making it very clear that I am ticked at you for writing that "Obviously Spidey doesn't know" Obviously am I right🙄 To echo the words of one of my great role models HOW DO YOU KNOW I don't remember Spidey every saying that he believed in Andrew Tate or the quality of his character, or that we should. I remember him saying that it's our responsibility to take into account all of the information about him, not just the easily accessible stuff. Spidey tries to teach us to make our own opinions based on all of the information, so he tries to stay objective, so of course he's not going to full on condemn this guy! If you have your opinion that Andrew Tate should have been banned, that's fine. If you think he's worse than Spidey does, that's fine - you are entitled to your own opinion. Personally, I'm inclined to agree that "his following is huge and with the messages he was spreading it was getting really scary". But YOU CANNOT SAY THAT SPIDEY DOESN'T KNOW WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT My guy has like 3 degrees in social psychology and something else that he usually lists at the beginning of his videos, he has tons of experience both as a mentalist and behavioral analyst, and is a very intelligent and experienced man, and 777k+ people who he has to remain relatively unbiased for. He totally could come out and say "I've looked at all the evidence and Andrew Tate is a horrible human who deserves nothing and you guys should all hate him too" but that would make him no better than Andrew Tate. Unless you can read Spidey's mind, which I'm pretty dang sure you can't (correct me if I'm wrong, and I will happily eat my words), YOU CANNOT KNOW THAT HE "DOESN'T KNOW ANY OF THE BACKGROUND OF THIS CHARACTER" did you watch the video?

Hey Spidey, you probably won't see this, but I'll just give my two cents on his ban. I agree that moderation of such content in a perfect world would be more nuanced. However, in this case, the goal of Twitter, Instagram, etc. is to be profitable which includes appealing to advertisers. While his views (especially if played up to be more controversial) may be generating interaction in the short term for the platforms, advertisers/the platforms themselves will not want to be associated to his brand. Its not sustainable long term for companies in the effort of moderation and possible loss of advertising revenue. Of course, both you and him probably know all this given his self proclaimed genius status and your success on KZbin (awesome content btw).

A) A person can not be pointed in a positive direction by being degraded and humiliated.(negativity+humiliation=destructive reactions and changes for the wrong reasons.) B) A person claiming to be a life coach, that clearly believes that gender based shaming techniques and public displays of disrespect to others, needs to be psychologically evaluated, before letting him interact with the public at all much less be allowed to try and influence people on social media. His morals are corrupted, his words are bitter and hateful, and he displays an array of aggressively arrogant opinions, sets off a feeling (to me) that he will not hesitate to physically hurt someone to prove his point. Which is also why I double checked my comment to ensure that I mentioned that these were my feelings not the feelings of the world, and that it is my opinion based on what I have researched, read, and seen. Also, based on my research.. I personally would not want to know this man, and I promise.. he wouldn't want to know me either. And all of this is also beside the point. Any one with any concern for respect, will agree That the format in which Mr. Tate chooses to use when speaking publicly, has proven to be distasteful, disrespectful, and demeaning. I would be willing to bet, that he has never spoken to his grandmother the way he speaks to folks in public appearances. I don't have to know someone personally to hear vocal tones and be able to decipher a hateful undertone. I also do not have to know someone personally to be able to feel when they are trying to cut someone in half with their words. Humility, is a modest or low view of ones own importance.. Mr. Tate makes it very clear that he views himself as being at the higher sections of the totem pole. Honesty the quality of being honest, has Mr. Tate not said hisself that he was "joking" after making an ignorant public statement he was bashed for. The lack of honesty comes from his long delay in saying it was a joke.. indicates that he most likely was not joking but he will claim that is was to save his reputation. Integrity having the qualities of honesty and strong quality morals.. Mr. Tate says he holds high morals, which I will admit may have been a miss wording, he says has morals, however the only lesson I have seen him insist on teaching, is how to degrade women. I stand beside my OPINION of Mr. Tate, from his public personality, on display for everyone to see, I feel that he not only would be more of a damage to someones's mental state, as a "lifecoach" but I feel he would be capable of physical violence to a disagreeing party if engaged in a heated debate. Sorry, but common sense as a human that cares wholeheartedly about other humans, and a long time advocate for suicide awareness and prevention... to teach positive thought processes takes positive building blocks, and emotional support. Tearing people down by degrading them for gender, is part of the reason why suicide organizations even exist. Thank you though for your thoughts.

Wrong. Things taken out of context can make a simple point have a terrible message when clipped up. For example. His "40% of the reason I moved to Romania was to avoid rape charges " or something along those lines. Many see that line and assume he is a rabid rapist who fled to Romania where we westerners have the racist assumption that Romania is corrupt and he can buy his way out of his crimes. Yet in the full context of his video. He explains that in Romania they are likely to not take a woman at face value and will ask her for evidence of said sexual assault. While he says that in the western countries because of the #metoo Era that women could simply claim a man sexually assaulted her and effectively ruin his life without evidence. He reiterates this by saying that if you are a man in the west you are an idiot because at any point in time any girl you associate with can take your freedom away. Pope John Paul II is wrong if he speaks from a biblical term of marrige. The Bible allowes a man to have more than 1 women
@justsomevids45412 жыл бұрын
@@LOL-ro9ef not sure what u are saying by trying to bring that up, so I'll just address the topic as a whole: It's true that in the Old Testament people were allowed to marry multiple wives, similarly, divorce was allowed. Both were frowned upon, but were allowed due to peoples hearts being hardened, which is why Jesus appealed to "the Beginning" where divorce for example was not allowed and not intended by God. Jesus points us back to the beginning of Genesis, showing that man and woman became one flesh (Genesis 1-3, Matthew 19), and that it is only due to sin that people see eachother as objects. The bible instructs husbands to love wives like Jesus loved His church, this means that husbands should be willing to die for their wife (clearly a wife isnt some object), and Jesus rebuking the concession of divorce shows the true indissoluble nature of a marriage, and by pointing back to the original nature of marriage of husband and wife becoming one flesh, shows the reciprocal nature of the self-gift, and a husband can NOT become "one flesh" with a wife and truly self-gift when he divides himself up and shares his person for multiple women. What Pope John Paul II says is extremely biblical, which is why he taught all of this under the title of "Theology of the Body".
@LOL-ro9ef2 жыл бұрын
@@justsomevids4541 having multipal wives wasnt "frowned" upon in the old testement, where did u get that from? Abraham, God chosen man had a wife and concubine which to both he gave children, God chosen people, the hebrews, came from 1 man (Jacob) having 12 wives. In 2 Samuel 12:8 God tells David he would have given him even more wives if the amount of wives he currently had werent enough for him. "divorce was allowed" No divorce was not allowed, again u are wrong. "clearly a wife isnt some object" agreed, but the man has authority over the woman, gender roles exist. "and a husband can NOT become "one flesh" with a wife and truly self-gift when he divides himself up and shares his person for multiple women" Again thats ur own interpretation, the bible has no verse that says a man cant have multipal women.

This is my first introduction to Andrew Tate. The fact that he’s so popular is baffling. The ‘better/good’ clips of him are for me like pointing to a lone tree that manages to escape being burned from a volcano… and saying ‘SEE! THIS tree wasn’t burned! Not all tress were destroyed!!’ I mean, okay, that’s technically true… but why aren’t we talking about the actual f*cking volcano and the destruction it’s causing? We’re getting caught in the nitty gritty details where you have to stand back and at the whole very ugly thing. And he is ugly in every way that’s important. What we must do however is NOT go on a ‘SEE! This is what Men are!’ nonsense chant which is just staggeringly wrong (morally and factually) it is also seriously damaging to our fathers, brothers, sons etc. and also plays right into the hands to people like Tate to begin with. He is toxic. ‘Men’ are not. It’s the same with women. Particular Women are toxic. ‘Women’ are not. There are sh*ts & creeps everywhere, let’s just try ourselves not be one of them eh.

I appreciate the way that you try to be objective in all circumstances. Andrew Tate doesn’t seem like a good person to me, but I appreciated that you showed more facets of who he was so that I could make a judgment for myself. The reason that I can watch this channel and feel confident in quoting things from it is because you are objective and truthful. You coming back and giving more information on this particular subject reinforces that opinion. On a more personal note, I believe that traditional gender roles can provide a lot of happiness, sometimes even more happiness than people realize in this day and age, but he doesn’t believe in just traditional gender roles. He is a terrible representation of traditional gender roles. it sounds to me like he believes in a relationship as a form of slavery. I believe that men and women are equal, and that their differences make them stronger together. I’m not even sure that he considers women to be real people.
@Itssdahi2 жыл бұрын
That's why you hate him, you put words inside his mouth like slavery and that, when he never told or seriously seriously indicate it, when I mean seriously that the clip saying he women are his property, is something that was taken so out of context and don't even understand the actual message behind it.
@Melissa_ann9722 жыл бұрын
Lol, you saying that I hate him actually put words in my mouth! No big deal, no offense taken, lol. I don’t hate him, I don’t even really know him. I just don’t think he’s a very good person, based on what I’ve seen of him, which admittedly is very little. I do think Spidey presented clips that show him from a few different angles, and I agree that he shouldn’t be de-platformed just because I disagree with him on some things. You may have noticed that I said “I don’t think”, and I also said “it seems to me”. That’s because I actually don’t know him personally, and even if I did, I don’t know anyone, even myself, well enough to hate them instead of love them. But I have been known to occasionally point out behaviors that I disagree with and make judgments about whether someone is a moral person or not. The reason that I said it seems to me that he equates a relationship with slavery, is because he said things in the clips that were on this channel about women needing to comply and be obedient, and that things were all a woman’s fault while no responsibility was placed on the other person in the relationship. It seems that he may want a woman who is kind of broken, someone who is willing to completely live to please her partner and not address any of her own needs. That having been said, I don’t think that it was fair for me to compare it to slavery completely, when he didn’t indicate that he would force a woman to be in that position as far as I’m aware. I’m totally willing to learn and to find out where I might have been wrong on things, as you can see with my equating it to slavery. I still don’t think that he sees women, possibly even people, outside of himself as real (having goals, needs, wants, etc. outside of his). But I could be wrong about that too, and I don’t mind being corrected. If you have any clips that indicate otherwise, I would be glad to watch them. I think what he said about how amazing and beautiful it was that all those people came from his grandma was pretty cool.
@Itssdahi2 жыл бұрын
@@Melissa_ann972 so I said you that hate simply because you find him not a good person, and we all do that we don't like bad persons, I am not saying that Andrew is very good person no not at all, but things he said people misunderstood it a lot, he never saw women as things that don't have feelings, he was always preaching women for how unique and different they are as people, and how he treat his girlfriends and give them what they want, there is a video of a girl who met Andrew IRL and she said that she never encountered any negativity from him and he always was an overall good person in sense of friendship and that, clearly what he said in any clip was just exaggeration or acting in a certain way to gain popularity, but he didn't expect it to reach the level that he would get banned so he is for sure should've stop the bad loud character and start talk like how is talking in that video, all that being said yes you can have your opinion that he seems that he is a bad person, but you shouldn't act as if your opinion is a fact or something that the people in his life said that, apparently he didn't hurt any friends or any women actually, that indicate something very good that he is not a bad person, it just some internet persona, the thing is if the actions don't equate with words then you shouldn't judge him by his words, it's always his actions and his actions says a lot about him, even the girl who accused him of kidnapping her, police swatted him and found out no one is harmed and no girl is kidnapped and she was lying, and they saw the cameras and she was having a good time.

After I got to 24min in I truly think there should be a ⚠️🚫Trigger Warning🚫 ⚠️ For me it's being a kid growing up isolated, in a ' home' with my gaudians boyfriend/monster like that. Once again like hearing AH voice on the tapes I'm physically nauseas. Edit: Maybe it's because this is the first I've ever hear or seen this person. NO I will not grant him the label call him a MAN, because he's not. He's a male person as far as I know..but this is NOT a MAN.

I really did try to keep an open mind, but in the meantime, my gut was churning in discomfort, my shoulders were hunched in freeze mode, and the whole side of my face was drawn up in the biggest disgust grimace you could imagine. This man feels so dangerous to me. I think probably most people could be judged based on their good and the bad actions and ideologies. But a few people's bad is so bad no balance is possible.

Exactly. Spidey said in his last video that he isn’t sure this loser should be banned because he doesn’t really believe in censorship. Which I think makes sense, however, this person he’s covering here creates the type of content that radicalizes people. That IS dangerous. Men are radicalized enough.
@Taylor987-h8j2 жыл бұрын
Exactly, he was banned because a man with these viewpoints and such a large following is a public safety issue.

Open mindedness is overrated and in some cases it's a total liability. Better yet, let's be open minded to the possibility that this person really is as bad as we think.

Haven't finished watching Andrew Tate's final message but I'm curious as to why would you suddenly have an emergency live. That must mean you have to say something very important. Thank you for all your effort, and knowledge that you share with us. Ps. You made your vids based on past clips of Tate and you intrepreted them as objective as possible. Who knew there was a diff side of him we didn't know. We all learned today. Thank you

I've never heard of this man ever ... before your Videos. Every single word he's saying, the way he looks at the camera, the way he speaks and moves, everything of this human being makes my gut scream RUN to my brain. I feel so unbelievable uncomfortable. Even more uncomfortable than watching Amber Heards fake tears. This is horrifying. I am an empath and just the glimpse of imagining me sitting in one room with this human makes me shake. Unbelievable. Thank you so much for your great analysis. I'm really looking foreward to new topics on your channel, tbh.

Same here, my whole inside turns upside down...rare to have such a strong reaction. And was wondering, why would people, especially women, even stay in the same room with him. The sad part is, that many young impressionable men might take his leading.
@vanessaxxdkdm71562 жыл бұрын
@@gyorgyjakabjulia yes. That's the whole point and the responsibility he isn't taking. That his bad, very, very bad talk and behavior influence young men in a way that won't be good, not for them, nor for our world. It's crazy. Good to know tho that I'm not the only one with such intense feelings about this ... human. Thanks for your reply ❤️

I was at a Danish lecture on narcissistic personality disorder and guess who was talked about as a textbook example... yup Andrew Tate. His way and putting himself on a pedestal, belittling others to make himself look better and so on... I had no idea who he was before. But with Spidey's analysis it all made even more sense

Tate said in one of these clips that he's the most famous man on the planet?!! I literally had not even heard of him before this video. Sounds like he has some delusional ego problems and yes I too was thinking he seems like a narcissist. Reminded me of Amber Heard but smarter. Now he's getting called out for some of his stuff and he's trying to play the victim card, poor me, everyone took my words out of context! No bruh, you are legitimately a jerk. However last I checked being a jerk is not a crime by itself.
