Do you have a different muffler on this? Sounds sick. Different than mine.

yeah I've got a Akrapovic exhaust on it, not totally sure which type though

Do you have an issue with exhaust leaking form the header pipe to muffler connection? Is the stock gear ratio a little high? Thinking of buying a 530exc-r and these are some concerns others have mentioned. I have an XR650R at the moment.

No exhaust leak in 12 years......stock ratio was 15/45....way too high. I run 14/50 or 13/50 in tight stuff.

yeah I haven't had any exhaust leak issues and I was running a dodgy spring for a while there. I'm running a 14/52 gear ratio and im happy with how it is.

Hi I have a question for you about the ktm exc 530 is it a bike for hardcore enduro like ktm exc 300 2t or it is more like a adventure bike

If your into hardcore enduro I would def be going for the 300, the 530 is def capable but you will wear yourself out alot quicker. The 300's are just much lighter and easier to throw around and the ability to just lug them up a steep rocky hill climb can't be matched. The 530 is a dual sport bike but although they can be ridden on the road they are much better suited to dirt tracks out in the bush, they are much more capable than a adventure bike.

how many hours on your 530 its been reliable ?

I don’t have this bike no more but I put a lot of hours on it since I owned it, I prob took it out every weekend for 18months straight and the only main issue which it gave me was battery related. The 530 is a work horse, I gave it hell and she just kept going, I did maintain it properly but, clean air filter every ride and oil change after every 2nd ride. I def miss this bike

@@Benny-SWS I have the 07 450exc-r. Runs like a champ with a lectron carb/fmf pipe I cant see me selling this bike.

only thing I have done is adjust the clickers, suspension is all stock

@@Benny-SWS cheers love my 530 played with clickers a bit needs fine tuning. Upgrade would be nice
