While it is a common joke, think about how crazy it is. Ladies, if a man said on a date, "if a woman ever cheats on me I will heat a tire iron on a fire and then use it as an adult toy on her." How fast would you run away and block that man post about him to warn other women and even call the authorities? It's psychotic to talk like that.

Men who plan on cheating or who are cheaters will get uncomfortable with a comment like that. If you aren't a cheater, then it doesn't apply to you. She probably dodged a bullet.

Violent people are never just violent in one area of life and the fact that she is saying things like this on a 1st date means she thinks it’s normal or acceptable. By the way, violence is never acceptable, even if someone cheats on you

@frenchbluehen I call BULL on that, people who are hyper sensitive against cheaters are almost always the cheaters themselves.. been there already. Had a woman who was adamant about loyalty, always checking up on me, asking for reassurance, and generally scared of being cheated on.. I passed it off as previous trauma and not a problem since I don't cheat, turns out she ended up cheating herself, the entire time she was just afraid of being cheated back on because she had cheated in the past herself, that's what she ended up doing again. It was all projection of her own guilt past, present and future. A healthy person doesn't go into relationships immediately demanding loyalty and promising retribution if they get cheated on, a healthy person already knows loyalty is expected. She is a HUGE red flag, I don't blame the dude for blocking her, I learned my lesson, I'd have blocked her too. She is carrying baggage trauma or has cheated herself in the past, perhaps both..
