My grandpa and Monte Judah used to work, they used to teach together, they used to spend a lot of time. You are right about cookie cutter arguments, I was trained more so in these then I was in the actual truth of God's word. Thank you brother for providing commentary on these things! God has used your ministry with me, thank you! To God be the glory!

@GoodGodFatherGGF @Iamlainylaine That means a lot to me. Thank you! God is good because I don't feel nearly as patient as you give me credit for. I feel that frustration, too! It must be the Holy Spirit "editing" my raw reactions that allows these videos to come across in a fairly reasonable tone. I try to think of Hebrew Rooters as people who love God but are in a temporary state of delusion and will one day come to their senses. So my job is not only to make a theological defense against their claims and the damage they are causing in the body of Christ but try to do so "with gentleness and respect, having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame" (1 Peter 3:15-16). @ColleenCunningham-yx1bu The Father's moral law doesn't change. However, civil law and ceremonial law does change. Read the book of Hebrews. There is no longer a need for sacrifices, a temple, or priests to make sacrifices, and we, as followers of Yeshua, are all kings, priests, and ministers of God through Christ. Therefore, a lot changed in the law and the 600 plus mitzvah or commands in the old covenant law. Nothing being said here is saying ignore, disregard, or disobey The Father's unchanging moral law.

@@davbra12 The Ten Commandments in the New Testament: Matthew 5:17-19 - Jesus’ Emphasis on the Ten Commandments Jesus begins His teaching by saying: - "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." - The Law: While this term can broadly refer to the Torah, Jesus focuses specifically on the Ten Commandments, which form the moral foundation of the law. - "For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished." - Endurance of the Law: Jesus emphasizes that the moral principles embodied in the Ten Commandments remain valid and binding. - "Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven." - Teaching the Commandments: Jesus stresses the importance of upholding these commandments, underscoring their continuing relevance. Jesus’ Specific Examples from the Ten Commandments To clarify His point, Jesus gives examples directly from the Ten Commandments, highlighting their deeper, spiritual intent: 1. Murder (Matthew 5:21-22): - Commandment: “You shall not murder” (Exodus 20:13). - Jesus’ Teaching: He extends this commandment to include anger and contempt, showing that the prohibition against murder concerns both the act and the heart’s intentions. - Implication: By citing this commandment, Jesus references not just one law but underscores the entire Ten Commandments as the core of God’s moral law. 2. Adultery (Matthew 5:27-28): - Commandment: “You shall not commit adultery” (Exodus 20:14). - Jesus’ Teaching: He expands this commandment to include even lustful thoughts, indicating that the prohibition against adultery involves both actions and internal desires. - Implication: By focusing on this commandment, Jesus is again pointing to the Ten Commandments as a whole, reinforcing their comprehensive moral guidance. Conclusion: The Ten Commandments as the Core of the Law - Affirming the Ten Commandments: By citing murder and adultery, Jesus is not only addressing these specific commandments but is also invoking the entire Ten Commandments as central to the law He came to fulfill. His teaching shows that true obedience involves both external actions and internal attitudes. - Entire Ten Commandments: By highlighting murder and adultery, Jesus indicates that the principles of the entire Ten Commandments remain essential. These commandments are not just individual rules but represent the core moral foundation of God’s law. In summary, Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 5:17-19, by specifically referencing murder and adultery, emphasizes that the entire Ten Commandments are the focus of the law He came to fulfill, underscoring their lasting significance and moral authority. In the New Testament, the "Ten Commandments" are not explicitly listed as a single set in any particular passage. However, several of the commandments are directly referenced or summarized by Jesus and the apostles. Here are a few key passages where the principles of the Ten Commandments are addressed: 1. Matthew 19:16-19 - A rich young man asks Jesus what he must do to inherit eternal life. Jesus replies: - “If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.” He then lists some of the commandments: - "You shall not murder, - You shall not commit adultery, - You shall not steal, - You shall not give false testimony, - Honor your father and mother, - and Love your neighbor as yourself." 2. Mark 10:19 - Similar to the account in Matthew, Jesus lists several of the Ten Commandments: - "Do not murder, - Do not commit adultery, - Do not steal, - Do not bear false witness, - Do not defraud, - Honor your father and mother." 3. Romans 13:8-10 - Paul summarizes several of the commandments, emphasizing love as the fulfillment of the law: - "For the commandments, 'You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,' and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" 4. James 2:10-11 - James refers to the commandments when discussing the importance of obeying the entire law: - "For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. For he who said, 'You shall not commit adultery,' also said, 'You shall not murder.' If you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker." While the New Testament emphasizes love as the fulfillment of the law, it affirms the moral principles found in the Ten Commandments.

I never heard from her for several years until one day I got a call from her. She was now fully restored to the joy of her salvation and free in Christ after receiving prayer from a lovely Christian lady and restored to fellowship with other believers.. The bible is so plain on this especially the book of Galatians. Oh, foolish Galations, who has bewitched you? The enemy sneaks in to sow discord and falsehoods to bring about division and rob believers of their freedom in Christ. Thank you so much. Very important and much needed.

I would love to see you debunk these other teachings using Mr Judah's own words. It would be a help to Christians to defend the faith and to deliver the HRM followers from the great deception.

Thank you so much Mr. Solberg! ♥ I haven't eaten pork and such for years now, a family member with her toraism has really messed with my head and caused a lot of confusion. I think I'm gonna make a ham sandwich tomorrow, and also finally celebrate a joyfull Christmas this year. It makes me happy to be able to do that again. Every year I have felt so isolated when others get to enjoy themselves and I don't. Well, didn't. 😊

@RLSolberg I have seen a lot of debates. I have seen people get angry and mad at each other. I have debated people individually. What I have learned is that the best thing that we can do is listen. It is not so important that somebody disagrees with us. What is more important is understanding the reason why they disagree with us. As an example, somebody who is racist. I have found that they are not really racist. They just don't want to get the short end of the stick. And I don't blame them.

Hello Brother, Just want to say thank you for making this Channel on the Hebrew root movement, (I know they go by different names as well) I had a friend recently invited me to a Bible study I haven’t seen him for so long but just by our conversation we had I was thinking it was a actual “Christian Bible study” After the second Bible study it was leading more to the Hebrew roots movement/ Torah keepers, He was talking a lot about keeping the Sabbath, about not eating pork and watching what to eat because it can be unclean, Not attending a Christian church and etc.. so I asked him respectfully so you’re telling me if I eat any type of pork I’ll be sinning… he told me point blank yes!

@@achristianconvertedtochris5862 I see what your trying to do but no amount of law-keeping was good enough because the problem is the human heart. Jesus went on to illustrate how bankrupt their understanding of the law was by making comparison after comparison (you have heard that it was said. . . but I tell you; Matthew 5:21-22). For example, the Pharisees’ teaching implied that if a man avoided having sex with someone other than his spouse, then he had kept that portion of the law. Jesus, understanding the universality of human lust, filled the law out to the full by pointing out God’s original intention-because adultery is a matter of the heart, people regularly commit this sin through a single moment of lust in the mind. A careful examination of the remainder of the Sermon on the Mount reveals that virtually every point Jesus made draws a contrast between the pseudo-righteousness of the religious leaders and the true righteousness that God desires. The person who discovers and appropriates true righteousness will manifest the character qualities described in the Beatitudes (Matt 5:3-12) and will impact the world as described in Matt 5:13-16. The Pharisees did not. Jesus drew attention to the gravity of his foundational premise with the formula, I tell you. He equated himself with the author of Scripture which, of course, he was. Jesus insisted his words bore all the authority of God himself which, of course, he was. Jesus claimed deity for himself. Jesus was essentially declaring war on the false pharisaical religion. He insisted that no person could be saved by his or her own righteousness. This was something the law intended to indicate all along, but Israel had missed the point (Rom. 2:17-3:31; Gal. 3:17-29; 5:3-6). The point was hard for the self-righteous to swallow-no one, not even the super law-keeping Pharisees, could enter into heaven. All needed a Savior! Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior not Law keeping. Please read the Galatians as well, May Lord God be with you.

If you pay attention to the context, Peter's vision had nothing to do with food. It was given to him by God as a lesson/ parable, to prepare his heart and mind to accept that Jesus includes the gentiles in His plan of salvation. I teach and believe that obedience is God’s “love language.” Jesus said, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments” (John 14:15). And I'm sure you would agree that not every command that God has given applies to every person at all times. Some of His commands only apply to certain people (i.e., men, women, parents, Levitical priests) or for certain times (i.e., building an ark, gathering manna, while in exile). And I'm sure you would also agree that we are each only expected to keep the commands of God that apply to us. The NT teaches that the ceremonial Mosaic commands do not apply to Christians today. (ex. Repeated blood sacrifices for sin are no longer required (Heb 10:18).) We still serve God and obey His commands, “But now we are released from the law, having died with Christ to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code” (Rom 7:6). The relationship between the people of God in the Old Testament and the people of God in the New Testament is better described in terms of an organic development rather than either separation or replacement. @@brucepayton6322 Hey, Bruce! There are three significant problems with the idea that Peter’s vision in Acts 10 was only about Gentiles and had nothing to do with food. First, the vision was _literally about food._ Jesus told Peter to eat the animals. Second, on what basis are we willing to allow for a change on the issue of people but not food? That’s completely arbitrary. Third, if the vision of the food was solely intended as a metaphor for the Gentiles, then Jesus was using a false analogy. He essentially said, “Look, I know in this vision I’m telling you that all food is now clean, but that’s not true. It’s just an example to show you that you can hang out with Gentiles now.” No, God does not use false metaphors. Food and people are tightly linked in the Torah (See Lev. 20:25-26). This is how Peter knew (without being told) that a vision that was _only_ about food signaled a change in the status of people as well. Blessings, Rob

No _food_ that God _created to be received_ is to be rejected, because it is set apart by two things: 1) Word of God and 2) prayer. God's word (term used by Paul for the Old Testament) does not set apart unclean animals as 'food'. Hi Plumber! Interestingly, Gen. 8:20 is the first reference to a sacrificial or worship altar in the Bible. And we know it was not a sacrifice based on the Mosaic Law. Not only because Israel did not yet exist and that Law would not be given until a thousand years after Noah, but also because Noah's sacrifice did not conform to Mosaic standards; it was not performed in Yahweh's Tabernacle by a Levitical priest. In fact, his sacrifice would technically be illegal for Israelites once the Sinai Covenant was given and the Law of Moses put into effect. (However, I believe Noah's sacrifice prefigured the sacrificial commands that would later be formalized in the covenant at Sinai.) So the designation of "clean/unclean" animals in Genesis does not directly or necessarily invoke the animals that would later be listed in Lev. 11/Deut. 14. Especially since Gen. 9:3 says *_“Every moving thing that lives_* will be food for you.” There may have been an earlier awareness of animals that were appropriate and inappropriate for sacrifice. Or, the Biblical author may have added this detail anachronistically to avert potential contradictions with the law. Shalom! RLS

Once again Rob makes a clear distinction between those that follow Torah today, and those that believe no follower of Jesus is bound to the Commands of the Father. It should be clear that there are two very different Saviors read in the NT; the Catholic Jesus that did away with parts of the Torah for followers, or the Hebrew Yeshua who taught how to keep Torah. After loading all the bases, Rob uses Charles Spurgeon to hit a Grand Slam to close out the teaching. Let’s read what the Preacher Spurgeon thought about celebrating the Catholic feast Christmas in a sermon in 1871. “Certainly we do not believe in the present ecclesiastical arrangement called Christmas: first, because we do not believe in the mass at all, but abhor it,… because we find no Scriptural warrant whatever for observing any day as the birthday of the Savior; and, consequently, its observance is a superstition, because not of divine authority.” Those that follow the true God of the Scriptures, don’t need Monte or a professor to teach them. Follow the example of the Bereans.

We don't read Yeshua rebuking him for keeping kosher and He's not rebuking Peter in Acts 10 either but moving him to go to the Gentiles. With all this said, I'm a Messianic Jew, I keep Kosher and I think it's good thing for all people to do. However, I don't make it a law for everyone to do.

Mark 7 is NOT about Kosher, Jesus rebukes the Pharisees for NOT keeping the commandments in that same passage, is He now going to in His next breath tell people to break the commandments. If that is what He meant, there would have been a reaction right there and then. If any Pharisees heard that and understood it that way that could have arrested Him right there and then. You have to put your social and cultural leanings and your pre-cocnceived learnings in the bin, but too many people dont have the humility to do that.

1 Thes 4:7-8 (NKJV) “For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. 8 Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit.” Emphasis added, and if your interested the OT will teach you about uncleanness. 1 Thes 4:4-5 (NIV) “that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, 5 not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God;” Emphasis added and in this unfortunate case, the word “pagans” in v.5 is used by the scholars, but in other translations is translated as Gentiles. Also Depending on what version you read, again it may not be such a good idea to only identify as a gentile because, in 1 Cor 12:2 (NASB) “You know that when you were pagans, you were led astray to the mute idols,…” Emphasis added and the word for “pagans” is normally translated as Gentiles. So are Christians gentiles or pagans? I guess it depends what side of the bed the scholars woke up on that day to choose how the Greek word “ethnos” is translated.

The argument about “native born and sojourners” simply doesn’t work logically in my opinion - 99% of the world’s Christian population does not live in Israel or somewhere among a high concentration of religious Jews. For example, in the city where I grew up less than 1% of population are Jews (and majority of them are secular). That would be very far from reality to label Christians like me to be “sojourners among Israelites”.

In Acts 10:28 and again in v.34 (2x), Peter says the vision was about not calling any man unholy or unclean. Adding anything more to this Spirit lead conclusion is basic eisegesis, and that is a very bad practice. The sheet of animals was related to food just as much as Abraham sacrificing Isaac was about human sacrifice. In Acts 15:19-21, the 4 requirements for the gentiles turning to YHWH, were the “starter pack” from the Law of Moses/Torah, so nothing new here. Still required to follow Torah and hear Moses preached on Sunday, whoops I meant 7th day Shabbat. Faith comes by hearing the words of God. As for Torah/YHWH words causing divisions in families and churches, as sad as they are, what did Yeshua say about the truth he preaches: Matthew 10:34-36 “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. 35 For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; 36 and a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’..”

Wow. So, you are saying you are smarter and do understand Jesus better than Peter, who was an apostle who had to bring the gospel? That is very heavy. Because Peter understood that Jesus didn't abolish any commandment and because this doesn't fit your theory, now Peter is too stupid too understand it, that God needs to show this to him in a vision? The interpretation the bible gives us in verse 28 is indeed about people, because the Jews in that times made laws that were not coming from God (clean and unclean came from God). But this interpretation from the bible is not enough, because you have to insist it is also about food. Never in that whole passage anyone made any conclusion now everything can be eaten. God made people clean through faith, not food. It is a pure interpretation, but can not be supported by the bible. Is it not possible that Peter fully understood Jesus and kept His commandments, and also understood that this vision was only about people, and not food? Maybe he understands, but not you? I did watch the entire video, but just don't add an interpretation to what the bible is concluding. I am maybe as stupid as Peter. On what basis? Because the laws between Jew and Gentile were made by man, not by God. God is always doing away with man-made laws. A vision is always using an example to made something know. It is not to be taken literally. Food was very clear, because the commandments were very clear about it. But God cannot nullify His own commandment. So, God doesn't give us examples to show us another meaning? Revelations is a book of vision that we cannot take literally. Or do you take out Revelations? Because this is not how God works. The purpose of those laws are to set ourselves apart from the world, as we no longer belong to the world. We sanctify our bodies as Jesus sanctifies us. A Gentile can become also a part of Israel, but will also have to set them apart from the world. Your explanation is not found in scriptures and is actually against what Jesus said in Matthew 5:18. The party of the circumcision was a group that teaches that we must keep all the laws to be saved and so they might boast about it. But the gospel teaches we are saved through faith by grace. We do keep the commandments, but not in order to be saved, but out of love. The point is not about following or not following. It is about why we follow commandments. The group in Galatians were telling to keep it in order to earn their own salvation. That is wrong! The point were there is a miscommunication is here is about the mere fact that you not mix with people who do not know God. If you do know God and still choose not to obey Gods commandments, I will also not choose to consider them in my circle. I want good observant followers of Jesus around me. Not only people who say "Lord, lord", but also those who keep His commandments. The distinction is to be made between a man-made rule and a commandment of God! A Hebrew mindset is not putting everything in boxes like the Greek mindset. These 4 restrictions to start with as they will be continued to be taught every sabbath in the synagogue about Moses (verse 21), come from Leviticus 17 and 18. It is connected to food restrictions. And these restrictions are connecting to our behavior as a child of Israel: No idols (= pure worship), no sexual immorality (= pure actions) and no unclean things (strangled or blood) (= pure body). Everything having the focus to set us apart. If those 4 things were the only things (which actually come from the Torah, which you claim are abolished) we needed to keep, why then read them about Moses? It makes no sense! Why do Christian do that? Because the same verses have been explained in a certain way that it is common believe now. Faith comes from hearing. If you heard arguments over and over again, you start believe them. And if it means the Torah still applies, then it means Christians have to admit they were wrong. That is difficult. I grew up and have been taught the same principle you are explaining. But I have started to study Torah from a Hebrew mindset without my preconceived ideas what was taught in church. I had to re-examine things a lot of times, because I believed things so strongly, I couldn't believe they might be wrong. It breaks my heart that you call Gods commandments "horrible burdens". The commandments were to be successful and considered to be wisdom (Deuteronomy 4:1-6). The text of Colossians 2:16-17 is also misunderstood. First of all, The Colossians were a new congregation. If they didn't need to obey Gods laws, how come they were told to let no one judge them? From who would they know this? Actually, Paul meant the opposite here. He has taught them about it, because it is all a foreshadow of things to come. It is important. It was to defend themselves from Judaizers who would tell them they would keep them in the wrong way. Keep to the instructions of Moses. Don't add to it or take away from it. And in 1 Timothy it was made holy (set apart) by the word of God. If the "food laws" no longer apply, it has no need to be made holy. But think about cultures who can't eat lamb or beef, which are according to the bible clean meats. It is an honor to be chosen by God as set apart people and there I gladly obey His commandment to only eat what He decided for us to eat. It is a beautiful picture and by understanding the difference between clean and unclean I also understand the difference set apart and not set apart. I show God by obeying Him I recognize He is the one that sanctifies me. It is a privilege! Keeping the "food laws" is not drawing us away from Jesus, but bringing Him closer to him! It is actually a reminder of what He did for us! That is so beautiful. In the entire bible God is asking us to follow his instructions and have a heart for them (Ezekiel 11:19-21), but then somehow when Jesus came we have to believe we are to forget all about what God has said and send prophets to reminds us to keep His commandments? This just makes absolutely no sense to me. So please don't tell me it's a burden to listen to the voice of my Father. My Father doesn't change, his instructions does not change.

Really? God's instructions do not change? @@Satanisruined Yes, we are still allowed to eat fruits and herbs. And animals without blood were food, that didn't change. Sometimes conditions are changing, but the commandment itself is still there. From the beginning we were instructed to make a distinction between what we should eat and should not eat (eat not of the tree of good and evil and later the list in Leviticus 11). From the beginning people are not listening. The serpent found a very good reason why we should disobey God. Still a lot of Christians found very good (and to them very reasonable) reason to disobey God. I just stick with being obedient. And how do you explain Isaiah 66? Why would God destroy people who eat pork? It is allowed right? Btw, looks like you only read the last sentence of my argument.

@JesusfreakkAlex
@JesusfreakkAlex 3 ай бұрын
@@Satanisruined Nothing is stopping me. Only I am not required to go to Jerusalem as the sacrifice made by Jesus is offered up in the Heavenly Tabernacle instead of the earthly tabernacle. Again, the conditions changed, but the commandment itself still stands. The feasts are forever, this is what the bible teaches. I still celebrate all of His feast days as that is a foreshadow of what is to come. I want to be prepared when He comes back. The feasts are telling the incredible love story between Him and us (Israel) His bride. The Torah (or law) is Gods marriage agreement to us, which describes what He promises and what is expected of us. I will gladly do all (or at least try to) of His commandments (my I do). Some instructions are only for Levites and indeed don't apply to me. But they were meant for all time. And they were meant for Israel. By faith we become Israel. Thus bringing us into covenant (bethrothal) with God.

Actually the definition of "food" is anything that can be eaten. And in the Law of Moses, some food was labeled ritually clean, while other food was labeled ritually unclean. Consider this passage: “You shall not eat anything that has died naturally. You may give it to the sojourner who is within your towns, that he may eat it or you may sell it to a foreigner. For you are a people holy to the Lord your God" (Deut 14:21). Animals that died naturally were still food, sojourners could eat them. They were only designated "ritually unclean" to the Israelites. Your prediction is right, we shouldn't make the bible say something it doesn't, Peter's vision wasn't signifying that all foods were made clean, if that were the case he would've stated it, the vision wasn't about food at all, you read that into the bible. The Holy Spirit could instruct Peter to go to a Gentiles house but not instruct him regarding all things being made clean? Very interesting. Galatians 2:12 isn't dealing with eating the unclean thing but association with Gentiles, and food sacrificed to idols. Nowhere in the bible does it say we can eat all things now and it mean the unclean thing, even in Genesis 9:3 the key phrase is "even as the green herb", can we eat the poisonous herb? The things written in Acts 15:20 are taken straight from the Torah in Leviticus 17,18 and 19, but maybe we don't have to honour our mother and father anymore, or maybe we can worship idols since they're not listed. The new testament DOES NOT TELL US ALL THINGS ARE CLEAN AND FOOD NOW, that's something man reads into the bible that's not there, if anyone can show me where Christ says he's made all things CLEAN or even that he said he's done away with the law, I won't be able to deny it. Food is not made holy by praying for it but by the word of God, he only made certain things holy and he told us to eat those things and be holy - Leviticus 11:44-47, if every creature is good in the sense you're making it, then cannibalism is okay, that's a dangerous stance to take. Followers of Jesus wouldn't have to be told to eat biblically, they already knew to do it, they would have to be told not eat biblically anymore, as the command has already been given. I will give Monte this, if you're not following his law and commandments, you can't be a believer of him, nor is his spirit in you, once you receive the spirit by faith, the spirit will cause you to walk in those things - Ezekiel 36:27; 1 John 3:24. Those who break God's commandments and teach men to do so, will not inherit the kingdom of God, and I don't say that with a hateful heart.

Regarding the scathing rebuke of Monte’s position about eating with disobedient believers, Paul supports Monte’s position. 1 Cor 5:9-13 “I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people; 10 I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, …, for then you would have to go out of the world. 11 But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is an immoral person, an…idolater, or a reviler…-not even to eat with such a one. 12 …Do you not judge those who are within the church? 13 …REMOVE THE WICKED MAN FROM AMONG YOURSELVES.” A non-Torah follower could be categorized as immoral and an idolater. Remember what Jesus will say to some highly spiritual church members, “Depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness” (Matt 7:21-23). The biblical definition of sin is lawlessness (1 John 3:4). Immoral people are those that do not follow God’s will, and because they put other religious practices before His, they would be idolators. That would be this layman’s opinion, but I am not an expert by any means like the professor.

The last supper was not a Seder, it’s “the last supper of Yeshua''. Let’s put some logic to the subject; Yeshua cannot be the Passover lamb and eat it too for He is the lamb without blemish. Who is the church All or most denominations that exist today have catholicism as their foundation. The protestant churches cleaned up the catholic beliefs, like putting the ten commands back to its original state, lost the idols in their churches, lost the elaborate and perfected masses and the confessional. But the root of their doctrines is still “catholicism” not the Hebrew root that Paul speaks of. Removal of the Jewish Faith and culture The church fathers worked very hard to remove all the Jewishness from the creation of their (new) doctrine that they would teach for almost 2 thousand years. In the first century church, the Romans were killing Jews not because they were believers in Yeshua, but because they were Jews and at the time most believers were Jews, They saw the people of The Way just as just another sect of Judisim. God gave Israel seven appointed times, the Biblical Feast days. Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, Trumpets, Atonement and Tabernacles. The church gave us festivals that are tied to nothing except easter which packs the three spring festivals into two celebrations. Their feasts are: The Feast of Mary, Ascension Thursday, Assumption of Mary into heaven, All Saints’ Day, The Feast of the Immaculate Conception and Christmas the Nativity of Our Lord. I’m not going to try any logic to this because it makes no sense. The protestant took from that mess easter and Christmas so, the protestant kept the fundamental doctrine of catholicism. Conclusion Who is the winner here? Of course, it’s the adversary(satan). This is what the Pharisees were doing in Yeshua’s time. They put their Halacha (oral tradition) between God and His people. The founding fathers of the church taught the people a doctrine not of God but of man, then Scripture is twisted to make it fit. To close this is the tip of the iceberg, there is so much more to learn. If in Yeshua, the Spirt in me is the same Spirt in you and the Spirt knows its own work. First Cor:17-25 For the Messiah did not send me to immerse but to proclaim the Good News - and to do it without relying on “wisdom” that consists of mere rhetoric, so as not to rob the Messiah’s execution-stake of its power. For the message about the execution-stake is nonsense to those in the process of being destroyed, but to us in the process of being saved it is the power of God. Indeed, the Tanakh says, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and frustrate the intelligence of the intelligent.” (Isaiah 29:14, 1 Corinthians 1:14) Where does that leave the philosopher, the Torah-teacher, or any of today’s thinkers? Hasn’t God made this world’s wisdom look pretty foolish? For God’s wisdom ordained that the world, using its own wisdom, would not come to know him. Therefore, God decided to use the “nonsense” of what we proclaim as his means of saving those who come to trust in it. Precisely because Jews ask for signs and Greeks try to find wisdom, we go on proclaiming a Messiah executed on a stake as a criminal! To Jews this is an obstacle, and to Greeks it is nonsense; but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, this same Messiah is God’s power and God’s wisdom! For God’s “nonsense” is wiser than humanity’s “wisdom.” Proverbs 9:10 The fear of Adonai is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of holy ones is understanding. Psalm 51:7-8 True, I was born guilty, was a sinner from the moment my mother conceived me. Still, you want truth in the inner person; so make me know wisdom in my inmost heart. The point is God's wisdom is not our wisdom, to obtain God's wisdom is to seek it form God but with total trust and submission to His will. You must check your worldly wisdom at the door. I pray this makes sense to you. May God bless you and give you understanding. In Yeshua's Name

(Isaiah 66:15 KJV) For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.(Isaiah 66:16 KJV) For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many. (Isaiah 66:17 KJV) They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD. your free to join those that will be slain or consumed as the verse says. "all flesh" doesnt mean only israel. same reason why BLOOD is not to be eaten even by the gentiles in Acts 15. Consider also why would peter not eat unclean meats in acts 10 if he understood what Jesus told him in matthew 15 that "its not what goes into the mouth that defliles a man" . we have to understand scripture the way it was understood to whom it was said to. (Acts 10:28 KJV) And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean. This is what the vision meant to peter. (2 Timothy 4:3 KJV) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; (2 Timothy 4:4 KJV) And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. This is what mr solberg is doing to you

IS THE VISION OF PETER A TEMPTATION YO BE WARRY OF OR A MARK OF GOD NOW CONTRADICTING HIMSELF? Deuteronomy 13:1-5 ASV If there arise in the midst of thee a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and he give thee a sign or a wonder, [2] and the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; [3] thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or unto that dreamer of dreams: for Jehovah your God proveth you, to know whether ye love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul. [4] Ye shall walk after Jehovah your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. [5] And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death, because he hath spoken rebellion against Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of bondage, to draw thee aside out of the way which Jehovah thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put away the evil from the midst of thee.

No doubt your biblical knowledge is greater than mine, but you lost my interest when you made a statement "that isn't how God works."

what about putting this in context. isn’t that how to interpret scripture? you can make any argument you want if you ignore context. for example, Jesus did not say anything against homosexuals, so that is ok. Jesus did not say anything about no woman preacher so that is ok. My understanding of scripture in context says that peter was being told that gentiles are ok to deal with.
