You have gotten on to that new Cummins very nicely! It’s a totally different world shifting them, you almost have to speed shift to catch a gear. At least from my experience, great video Mike!

I just watched one of your previous videos where you mentioned you bought a Stryker 447. My dad just bought himself one about a month ago and then this week brought me one home as well, just as a gift. It is awesome! It was purchased and peaked n tuned up at Bob’s CB in Strattanville, PA. He gave it to me on his birthday and I said, wow thanks dad that’s a hell of a gift you got me for YOUR birthday. In return, I got him a pair of 1/2 thick rubber Mudflaps and stainless weights for his truck. We both drive ‘23 KW T680 nextgen. His is a sleeper, mine is a daycab. (Automatics 🤦🏻♂️ lol).

That’s not a regen light that’s the hot exhaust light just a warning that the exhaust is extremely hot at the moment
@TheBostonTruckerАй бұрын
Oh really? Good to know thanks
@rustyhook6723Ай бұрын
Yup that light indicates it burning off the particulate. Regen would be a high idle.
@tater_relocaterАй бұрын
Order 2 lights then you have a spare. White dots are fine .

Regeneration already. The truck I'm in ,in the last 2 years it regened once.
@wadelevan1787Ай бұрын
Is that passive or active (parked)? I drive a ‘23 X15 Cummins and they do passive regens every 100hrs. It’s never done a parked regen in 2yrs/148k miles
@drewmurphy2796Ай бұрын
Is it actually doing a regen or did it do one while driving and it’s the exhaust temp high light? Most of the new ones regen when driving
@erikthorstensen5185Ай бұрын
Mack,you have to do park regens.

You mentioned working out at a gym A few days a week. In our industry, you almost have to. Being local we are in and out of the trucks all day. Unlike over the road drivers. When truck stops had full restaurants will the meat carving station buffets. Most drivers were 350+ lbs. I a Workout once a week, Maybe more . I mentioned it before I'm a professional candlepin bowler. For those of you outside of New England. Candlepin is probably the most challenging form of bowling there is. My ball have been clocked at 35 mph. Some guys hit 45. So drivers,get out do something to keep in shape.
