In my place, this is a whopping *50%* pricier than the older Wacom One. At this price point the box should at least include a proper stand and a hotkey remote, or being 14" and including a hotkey remote. UPDATE: The price for value ratio of this thing gets even WORSE after Wacom released the Wacom Movink! Same screen size, touch screen, super thin, but the Movink has *OLED screen* and more quick key buttons, and only 33% more expensive.

At this price it should be 16". It already low res, low quality screen, plastic body, no remote or stand. That price is a crime.

I disagree, an 13 inch FHD touch version of an Espresso display costs $430, while being way more inaccurate with its pen that isn’t included, clearly touch screen with an accurate pen is just going to be expensive, my Huion Kamvas pro 13 costs $300, and that is without touch at all, while having horrible parallax, color accuracy, and line quality with diagonal lines. Just because there are cheaper Chinese versions with the same spec on paper doesn’t not mean they are comparable with a Wacom in places that actually matters for an artist, I’m actually regretting not getting a Wacom one instead.

I had the previous version of this model, the performance wasn’t bad, but the big amount of wires/cables made it so hard to move from one place to another. I sold it after 6 months, and got myself a base iPad with an Apple Pencil, I didn’t regret of my decision.

Do you mean the garbage Huion alternatives? Because I own one, and I can tell you it's garbage; my huion kamvas pro 13 don't even last 1 year of use and the screen already start to fail due to over heating, the ventilation is none existent, not that the tablet is worth using when it is not broken, the parallax of the cursor is absolutely atrocious. I don't know how this piece of sh*t get rated 4.5 stars on Amazon, $300 for this kind of quality is an absolute scam, especially when the Wacom One is about the same price; I guess people who call themself an "artist" just don't give a sh*t about quality, or taking digital art seriously at all.

@@dpptd30 So much hatred for such a minuscule thing in life... If your tablet was truly less than a year old from purchase(from the official sellers), you could easily claim a repair/replacement. I know quite a few professional artists who make a living out of their creative work, some of them own Huion or XP Pen, never saw them complaining. It is great these other companies come into the market because Wacom has been creating a monopoly for a long time. Their products used to be solid, but always incredibly pricey for what it is really. I've been using countless Wacom devices since I was a teenager, and I had to save up money for a year or so. They were fine, but truly, I don't think what they create is any special compared to other brands. And...quality? The general quality of Wacom went down since their Bamboo line unless you get a Cintiq Pro level of the device. Which sucks, because, again, they got lazy about keeping the quality in the more affordable products. I find that pretty sad and outrageous at the same time.

For about 20 dollars more, or maybe a little less if you're a student, you can buy an iPad mini and a second gen Apple Pencil and be far better off than what I am seeing here. Yeah, the mini is smaller, but the screen is so much better that you can really do a lot of good work in a smaller foot print. Same with the iPad Air--if you're a student, you can get the 10.9" one and the second gen pencil for roughly the same price. If you're not a student, it will cost a little more, but your'e also getting a whole iPad and not just a screen; which, in my opinion, is a fair trade off for the money. For the android side of thing, I can't argue with doing a moderately price S-Tab of some sort. The pens aren't quite as nice as the Apple Pencil, in my experience, but they aren't terrible by any stretch of the imagination. And now that they have the procreate clone app, the one that Brad covered a little while back, it really should be a pretty comparable experience.

So I agree that at this price point or actually this class of device just doesnt make as much sense as they used to especially with ipad and the galaxy tab getting some really good art apps. It's almost to the point that even professional you can do almost all of it on an iPad if you do 2D art. Animation is doable in multiple apps. painting/photoshop is completely doable. Integration with cloud and file sharing is also doable. Even as a 3D artist I can do 60-90% of the creative stuff on an ipad. I can sculpt and get reasonably high poly using nomad. I can retopologize using cozy blanket. And i can texture with procreate. The only thing that I feel like i can't do well on an ipad is clothing, rigging and 3D animation. The problem I have is that I am not sure I would go with the competition. I had some really bad experiences with huion and xp pen. And while everyone says they are good now. I don't feel like i can trust these without trying it. And that is kind of where wacom kind of shines. There are enough places to try them out and see if you actually like it. In my opinion, that is what truly allows huion and xp-pen to keep their prices low. It's not that I don't trust reviewers it's just that with something like a drawing tablet it is very subjective.
