I’m just discovering you now Titli…. Love your recipes & your ability to teach and encourage me to try new recipes. My Portuguese cornbread is rising now… can’t wait till my Portuguese husband tries it!! I have read how you got so discouraged by the sick people who commented on your posts. I’m so sorry. Once again mean, rude ignorant people take away my enjoyment. This is why we can’t have nice things. Anyway just know I totally enjoy your recipes and your delightful accent, humour & passion for baking. Sending hugs, love& peace to you. ❤❤❤❤❤

Nice work Titli! I used to make brioche several times a week as a baker and always with an industrial mixer. I have never seen anyone make it by hand. Thanks for the lesson!

I tried these 2x, they were brilliant. I have no food processor, so I followed your instructions to a tee. 2nd time I made a double batch and worked them in two separate batches. Thanks much.

Thank you so much for this video. I don't have a stand mixer and all the videos I've come up with on KZbin use it to make these buns and I was about to just give up when I found your video! I am definitely subscribing and checking out all of your vids. You explain things so well and calm even between that sticky mess of dough and butter :D thank you again! I will be trying your recipe for burger buns tomorrow! 💞

Start with half of the quantity. It's difficult hearing, thinking of doing. Just start one day, step by step, you end up doing it well. I thought of bread making, I could never start it thinking, so tedious. One try, n I liked it.

Can I skip eggs in gluten free recipes and still get soft bun which hold their shape ? Of course using an egg substitute like flax seed meal ?
@berrakolcum59238 жыл бұрын
hey, I've just started to follow you and your breads. thank you for sharing your recipes and techniques with us =) i want to ask something, id like to make hot dog shaped breads from a brioche dough. do i have to stretch it like you did with brioche buns first, and then fold them into three; or can i just follow the way of hot dog bread rolls? hope I'm clear enough. thank you =)

Hi Titli, If I use instant yeast is it still the same measurement as dried yeast ?
@paulhumphreys66522 жыл бұрын
Oddly, my first mix (pre-butter) was very dry and I was wondering if the milk quantity was right but when I added the butter - God, what a mess. But eventually the slime did turn into a great dough and the resulting buns were excellent.

Hiii Titli I honestly I Love your all recipes of bread but my problem is that I don't like putting eggs in bread or in baking recipes so my question that instead of eggs what I can put into a dough thanks alot lots of ❤
@andreacremeans10553 жыл бұрын
Some people will use a flax mixture. I’m not sure how it works but you might be able to find something by searching “egg alternatives for brioche bread”

Titli are you using a marble surface? I have a butcher block counter and I have no trouble but marble is cold and works better. I learned my slapping dough technique from Julia Childs. It's great for disbursing aggression lol Great recipe which I've made often. 2 day old brioche makes the best damn French toast you'll ever eat.:o)
@TheBreadKitchen9 жыл бұрын
Tonithenightowl No, my surface is just a normal formica-style counter top.

You talk about strong wheat flour, but I must ask you, is that possible to make that same recipe with a gluten free flour (in this case which one your suggest me to use?) and achieve such fluffiness? I want so much to be able to make a very soft, fluffy and delicious gluten free bread. Well thanks already for your help :)
@TheBreadKitchen9 жыл бұрын
LiLiLaJolie You would need to modify this recipe if using gluten-free flours. As I need to make some more of these I'll make a gluten-free version and upload soon :-)

Hi Titli, love this recipe and many thx, however my reason for contacting you is Steve, an English guy who had a cookery program, I can no longer find on UTube. He often mentioned you so I wonder if you know if he’s still around. Last I saw he was traveling around Australia filming with his wife and I stopped watching his channel as video and time scale were out of sinc for me. I’m in UK and just realised I hadn’t had any updates come through for a long time. I checked and he’s gone from my channel list. Has he retired ? Regards Gill
