exactly! but the fact that its not already in the game worries me that there IS some big problem invisible to our eyes. Something under the hood (pun intended) that makes removing said hood... bad, and the reason for this whole desition. I dont know what that would be but ┐(‘～` )┌

Not to mention there’s that one section where the hood is brought down after Zelda beats Ganon and right before she gets her Royal Travel Attire. So rather then not being in the game entirely, it’s a feature that exists but isn’t accessible to the players.

Honestly, the worst part by far is the linear echo menu, imported from Botw/ TotK. It SUCKS trying to scroll through a linear list of 100 echoes just to find a specific item you need for a niche puzzle solution.

You have 5 different sort options for the linear list, also in the pause (plus) menu you can choose the active echo from a nicely arranged grid.

@ph0zz The grid takes years to use and the sort options other than most used are worthless. Just add a custom one so you can sort through only useful ones or let you remove echoes from scroll so you don’t have to go through keese and 80 pots. This was a big critique of totk, and while the game is phenomenal overall, this is unacceptable.

@@0celot9 Idk, I got pretty good use from "last learned" and "last used," the only useless one was sorting by cost. I don't disagree that a custom sort option would have been nice, but the sort options really made Echoes of Wisdom's echo menu leagues above what we got in TotK

I have not played the game yet but am planning to buy it soon. I was not aware of this so that is good to know, she looks much better with the hood down. Thank you for not spoiling the game at all, I was a little worried about that. Also I never liked the quote about missing shots, I mean yeah I get it, but it is a logical fallacy, good intent but not at all accurate in context. You may miss the opportunity to take the shot but you never miss a shot you don't take, It is whatever though. Great Video, would love that option to be available before I purchase the game.

I would say that Hoodless Zelda would in-fact be VERY easy to implement... As its _already in the game._ None of the sprites or dialogue needs to change, all it needs it to use the same stuff as the regular hooded outfit, but with the hood down (which already has the coding for it, it just needs a toggle to trigger it).

On a similar note regarding Skyward Sword, I was super frustrated to learn Skyloft Clothes weren't available for the adventure in Hero Mode. Back then it wasn't simple to add updates to a Wii. But nothing justify Nintendo not adding this feature to Skyward Sword HD or even making it possible with an update/DLC. It was so refreshing to venture the Seas with Link's Lobster Shirt. SS and TP (Ordon Clothes) should've done the same in their respectives Hero Modes. If not for the modding community we'd never get those simple things that could as easily be available from the start.

You get a new outfit after the scene, the travel attire. This one doesn't have a hood at all... You can switch back to the disguise, but the hood should be up again. Maybe you're confusing things?

On one hand, I don't think this issue is that important. BUT..! I love setting a precedent for both positivitity for change and, yanno, listening to fans and changing things to begin with. It isn't Nintendo directly, but they will notice. More than worth the effort.
