I tried the Cerave SA cleanser, but the old tried and true, Neutrogena 2% SA Acne wash was gentler on my skin. The Cerave left my skin feeling tight while the Neutrogena left my face soft and not stripped. Either way, unless you leave a wash on your skin for a minute or two the salicylic acid won't get a chance to work much. For a leave-on SA I use the newly reformulated 2% SA serum from The Ordinary. (Not the anhydrous formula. ) It's cheaper and dries less "slippy" than Paula's Choice. I use that on my T-zone and The Ordinary 7% Glycolic Acid Toner on the rest of my face.

Have you used the Naked & Thriving Renew Resurfacing Night Serum? I’ve purchased it but now after watching your video I’m confused as to whether it has all the ingredients you list. It doesn’t show any percentages either. It feels nice, but for the price I’d rather use something else that you have mentioned if I’m paying for a product that doesn’t have everything you’ve mentioned in your faves here. Thanks so much for all of your videos, I’ve learnt so much! I was only using natural products thinking they were the best for my skin. Ok so I just went up in my tretinoin so I'm wondering if it's just that but i also just started drinking dandelion tea and I don't know if because that's a diaretic if it dehydrates you. Because I heard it's suppose be a diaretic WHILE replenishing you but I don't see it in my skin. Again idk if it's the retin a either. I figured my skin would be use to retin a but I don't burn like I use to I just feel like I have the uglies again without the acne. I'm thinking about getting powdered camu camu or straight vitamin c so I get it internally and powdered vitamin e. I hear that the topical stuff is worthless. The other day I saw an older lady who looked great and she said it's her diet and vitamin e is all she takes. I'm sure she's doing more than that but still lol. I was taking ibutamoren which creates what RLY fights aging which is growth hormone. And it took away stubborn what looked like fungal acne or i was thinking hormonal acne because it was around my chin. And since ibutamoren works with hormones i think i was right because its gone now. But it's not the healthiest option but my skin looked better then when I wad in my teens let me tell u. I'll spend 100 bucks and take 1 a day instead of three a day to make them last 3 months. But I don't want to constantly take that because it makes u look great but it's not good for you to take all the time. So while im not on it I feel like I look so dull and old. But again I also went up on my retin a. I use apricot oil on my face because I heard that's what they use in the east and they eat them too (so now I got apricot seed capsules) and they look great and live long. And I heard they help prevent cancer. But the oil isn't helping so I'm trying to use cream and the ponds cream I have now is to fragrant and that's the thing that will make me burn. I was thinking of getting vanicream but I really don't know what I should be using on my face now. And sunscreen seems to be making my skin even dryer. I use to have oily skin to a fault.

Hi there! I was wondering if I should avoid using an acid (not a cleansing acid, a layering acid) in the morning since I tend to have hyperpigmentation. I have started to use sunscreen regularly now. But if you know you’ll have sun exposure, should you avoid them in the morning? Also, is it bad to use multiple forms of acids? I’ve realized that I was using a cleanser with an acid (the cerave one) the an acid from the ordinary (lactic acid HA) then once a week or so the Salicylic acid mask, then twice a week the wishful yo glow scrub. I think this is a real problem… we don’t really know what all these acids do and unknowingly we are layering tons of products with them. I try to educate myself by watching videos like this. What do you think about this?
