When this issue is being addressed online, it’s mainly only addressing sweating of hands, feet, and armpits. There are many people whose hyperhydrosis effects their face, head, and back. These are hardly ever assisted with these online videos.

You’re an excellent teacher you’re answers are and concise. I sometimes sweat at night. Night swearing do not occur nightly. Sweaty occurs 2 night in a row interrupts night sleeping patterns. I usually check what I have eaten. My dinner is no later than 6pm. Some days I just try to be as normal with my eating I am fine or night sweat occurs no matter what I do, so I feel like I am sweating and wakes me up I get up walk it off I am fine. Other night I am sweating do get up continue sleeping but my sleep turns with strange dream episodes. Get up tired in the early hours like 6 or 7 Am, Takes me a whole to recover from lack of. A peaceful night. I am in my late 70*s so I have other I issues that may contribute to sweating at night. This information was very clear and easy to understand. Enjoy your lecture s. God bless.

I just wanted to let you know that your video was so informative. I have done everything for my facial and cranial sweating. It started after my diagnosis of thyroid cancer. It subsided a bit after the partial thyroidectomy how've now my cancer had returned and so had the accesive sweating. The sweating came back before I know the cancer had. I tried botox. I also tried a sympathetic nerve block which worked for almost 18 months. The second time it didn't take I believe because my lymph nodes were swelled up on that particular day. I don't have the house because of embarrassing looks. It looks as if I got out of a shower. If I do anything active I will immediately burst into sweat. This has made my life uncontrollable. I'm going to look at your pdf to see what surgeries are recommended. I'm missing out on life.

I had the ETS surgery to stop my hands from sweating profusely in 2004. The best thing I have ever done. Back then nothing was on the market to help with hyperhidrosis that worked. I had to travel 5 hours to Hollywood Florida to get this surgery done as no doctor near me was qualified to perform the procedure. It is definitely genetic for me. My mom as well as my 10 year old daughter have it. There is only one problem with this procedure. It redirects your sweat to another area. My lower back sweats a lot now and I only wear black shirts because of it. It definitely is 100% better than sweating profusely from your hands and people think you are nervous when you shake their hands. The surgery also was not approved for the feet so those are still sweating a lot. 😔 My former PCP put me on anxiety medicine thinking I was just nervous. I guess she had never heard of Hyperhidrosis in medical school. I quickly switched providers. Some people might sweat when they get nervous so that's completely different but you know you have hyperhidrosis' when you sit alone in your house and sweat. Nobody around, nothing to be anxious about. No anxiety medicine that will cause dementia will help that so please people if you have hyperhidrosis and your PCP is trying to put you on meds RUN.

Iontophoresis will stop the plantar hyperhidrosis post ETS. Twice a week to maintain dryness for me. Persist with it beyond the first few tries. It works effectively. I didn't buy a machine. Not necessary. Two metal pans, three small 9 volt batteries, interconnecters for the batteries. 12 mins then reverse the polarity for another 12 mins (swap the connectors attached to the pans). I use disposable oven trays though they leak over time. Easily replaced obviously. Add salt to the water.

What helps excessive sweating on face
@courag12 жыл бұрын
The best thing to avoid hyperhidrosis major sweat days is to eat right and even though it could end up as sweat, drink water and tea without caffeine. Don’t eat too much salt then your body will want to rid itself of the salt with sweating. Whatever impacts your kidneys negatively such as being faced with excreting protein in the urine and lots of calcium, pulled from our bones from digesting meat, ditch the meat and the dairy and learn the ways of a vegan. I used to sweat more than anyone, more than a basketball player during a game without exercising. No more abnormal sweating now for me. Get out and take a walk in the cool of the day, as it helps you oxygenate your blood. This is good for the whole body and the brain. The brain has a lot to do with sweating, so make sure you keep your blood sugar under control. I put ground cinnamon (not cinnamon sugar) on my morning oatmeal. I mix in a grated raw apple and some chopped walnut with a hint of a plant-based milk. My husband loves this too. Great to keep blood sugar regulated. We use no sugar in the oatmeal as the apple’s sweetness is all you need. Both oats and the apple contain soluble fiber which helps with daily regularity. If you have leaky gut because you don’t have daily regularity, you will sweat more. Pectin is the soluble fiber in apples. Together with the oats, is a good way to ensure daily regularity. Eat greens as these detox that body. Eat raw in a daily salad or if it is kale or spinach, these are good steamed. Learn about vegan nutrition as it is the best way to recover from many lifestyle diseases. Caffeine promotes sweating in me so I don’t drink coffee. I like Good Earth Sweet N’ Spicy tea. But I am also fond of Bigelow’s Ginger Peach Turmeric. Turmeric and Ginger are great at healing so many things. They are anti-inflammatory and the less inflammatory our bodies are, the less we will sweat. I wear flip flops most all the time unless it is very cold. This way I don’t get Athlete’s feet, then there is no foot odor problem and if my feet stay cool, so do I. I even wear them on walks. But I scrub them clean before I shower. I scrub the tub before using it with cleanser and do the flip flops too. I am prone to foot and toenail fungus because of the sweating issue. So being sure to prevent Athlete’s foot and toenail fungus which we are more prone to both, is a good idea. So don’t go barefoot, use the flip flops but be sure keep the feet clean. If I have to use a pumice stone on my feet I do. I take Biotin to improve my skin and my heals don’t split but wow did they split and sweat when I used Dairy milk, ate cheese and yogurt and ice cream. Yes, they taste good but they made me sweat and not sweating has allowed me to be so much happier. You can get all the protein and calcium you need from a Whole Foods Plant-Based diet. This has cured also my arthritis and also freed me of both chronic constipation as well as asthma. You can learn to make your food delicious. The best thing we can do to prevent sweating is to eat low fat, no sugar or oils. I follow PCRM (Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine). There are many others too like Dr. John McDougall, Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, Dr. Furhman, Dr. Milton Mills, Dr. T. Colin Campbell. The diet and the walking has gotten me over depression which has plagued me since childhood from all the tormenting and ostracism from both friends and family. Some of us have worse reactions than others to the Standard American Diet. The WFPB diet has healed me. A word to the wise, is limit alcohol as too much can trigger sweats too. I do not take any drugs but I take supplements: a multiple vitamin, B-12, D-3, Biotin, Potassium and Magnesium and Ginger-Turmeric. Garlic is your friend, use it fresh, get a garlic grater bowl or use a garlic press. Buy Yukon Gold Potatoes as they taste buttery already and learn to eat them without butter. I make a topping of grilled mushrooms with onions and add fresh garlic at the end. I am always eating fresh homemade salsa but I take the ribs and seeds out of the jalepeno as it makes me sweat if its too hot. I don’t use fruit juice, I eat the fruit instead. The other benefit of all of this is it keeps my weight down. Love yourself as sometimes in my life that was the only person who did. Don’t look hope. Pray. Stay positive and if others verbally abuse you, their cruelty is a worse affliction to their soul than sweating is to us.

A few questions: 1. Can a roll-on version of one of these antiperspirants be applied to hands and feet? My hyperhidrosis (thought not sevre) is more pronounced in my palms and feet. I didn't react well to glycopyrolate and I would just prefer to use over the counter stuff from now on 2. Since I have to put on products like this when the area of my body is dry, what do I do if it is sweating? My hyperhidrosis ranges from mild to moderate and is completely random in its timing. It can strike when I'm just sitting here watching KZbin (as it is now) but will not be apparent doing heavy physical activity. It is completely random, along with the severity of it (mild to moderate) being random. So because it's random, it may very well be sweating at night when I'm wanting to put antiperspirant on 3. Do I need to worry about this "blocking sweating?" I know sweating is a completely normal bodily function and one concern I have is if I take measures to reduce the excessiveness, it may disrupt or eliminate what is a normal bodily function. Obviously I could do away with sweating in the palms for good but other sweat I know is normal and healthy when it's not excessive. You're video on "fungal acne" was super helpful so thanks!

I am usually able to hide by excessive sweating in other places, but my face and scalp are a different story. I'm worried about irritation from these products that may not be intended for those areas. Thank you so much!!

1- Is everything listed in this video supposed to work on either the PALMS, FEET or the ARMPITS? Because what is most important for me is the palms/hands since my job has me typing on a computer. 2- Can somebody help me tell how bad it is relatively? I dont know If I could call my case severe, but at its worst its very difficult for me to grip anything because my palms get too wet and it does interfere badly with my daily tasks. I am saying this because I have not yet experienced a scenario where I am literally dripping, but got pretty close to that. So is that severe, bad or mild?

I have always sweat ever since a child. ALL OVER THE BODY. Just the hands, feet, underarms and back sweat faster than the rest of my body. Still, the rest of my body really really sweats so much easily. I am a young woman 19 years of age, and it has been affecting my skin issue-tinea versicolor- which is keeping it active for years since I was 13 years old.

I used to never sweat. Like, when working out or running not even a drop. To the point I thought I was working out incorrectly. Then I was prego and had to go for an ultrasound. I had to drink so much water and not pee. Well they had an unexpected emergency client and mine got post phoned hours. I had to pee so bad my armpits started literally peeing. Drenched, dripping. Now my armpits constantly pee. When I’m cold, hot, normal, getting ready to go somewhere, at work sitting. Basically any emotion or activity. I ruin all my clothes despite antiperspirants. It’s like a faucet.

I've always been sweaty everywhere except my head. I have to change my socks frequently, and I can not wear sandals or flip flops in summer due to them slipping from the sweat. I haven't seen a dermatologist, but I realize both my sister and I have it. I had to buy driving gloves so I can not be sticking to the steering wheel. My daughter has it as well. I've had to put deodorant on her since she was 6. When I asked the pediatrician why she was stinky in her armpits at 6, I received no answer. I sweat more than my husband, and now that I'm approaching that middle age, I'm sweating buckets. 😞

My sweating is cartoonishly severe.It literally pours in thin streams off of my forehead,chin,etc..I never seem to exhaust my reserves.I do have diabetes but it stays consistently high.My thyroid numbers are erratic and I'm not sure of a firm diagnosis there.My testosterone was tested at around 113 around a year ago.I am now 47 and male.I have a history of alcohol abuse though I haven't drank alcohol in any form for around 10-12 yrs now.I smoke about 10-16 cigs a day.I am a generally passively anxious person with bouts of depression lasting weeks to months.Not sure what else to mention except that nobody else in my family has this sweating problem.Let me be clear...when I work at any pace I look like I swam in my clothes after just a few minutes.This may happen if I am merely nervous or anxious also.I am also sensitive to heat. .in other words...I'm also likely to feel hot at a slightly cooler temp than those around me. Any suggestions?
