I also bought the 40% urea cream you recommended and in 1 day my KP was almost gone, it’s been a life long struggle and it was actually that easy to fix. Thank you!

That's actually super interesting. They don't bother me in most places, but in some others they do, so knowing that this actually got studied with different types of products is pretty cool. I'm still shocked humanity hasn't figured out a way to fix/repair scar tissue (which this technically is). Would be cool to at least have a choice between getting rid of them and keeping them 😅

Ah yes this would have been good to know 30 years ago when at the age of 14 I shot up almost 5 inches in one year. I have stretch marks on my lower back, back of my arms at he shoulder and behind my knees. I find that keeping my skin taut with regular exercise minimized the appearance but I do apply Amlactin to my skin every day as well. Great video!

I developed stretch marks in the hospital due to iv steroids. I went from 90-130 lbs overnight and I think my skin stretched in such a fast time that it was never able to recover. I have found that Paula’s Choice body retinol lotion has lightened mine considerably but I have learned to live with them.

Krista Marie I am sorry that happened to you! I think the longer they are a part of you it gets easier. I was actually too sick to even notice them until years later (like 5-7 years!) but at this point, I am 32 so they have been here for 12 years. The retinol cream has somehow made them less white and more cream colored so they blend in better to my skin. I am never stopping it now that I know about retinols for body care. Master Caillou So sorry you suffered as well at such a young age. Make sure you do everything you can for your bones!

Thank you for the information you have shared. I am of the belief that either you will get them or you won't. I got them at age 19 when I was pregnant with my first child. I had no idea what they were. I have hated my body since then. I am now 53. No one I knew had them. My mom and grandmother didn't. My two sisters don't. My sis-in-law doesn't. She had twins at age 36. They weighed 6-7 lbs each. She was huge. Not one stretch mark. I know other people that don't. Some people's skin elasticity is better than others. Maybe I will try some of this, but it still won't make them go away 😭.

@@narruto_uzumaki Thank you for your suggestion, and I apologize for the delay. I just saw the comment. From the research I've done, unfortunately, none of the suggestions would work to remove or take away the marks. Maybe 20%, but nobody has successfully removed them or gone beyond 50% with micro or other superficial treatment, plus the time and years it takes, and the final result is not worth it. The only options are surgically removing them and making sure the doctor is good at concealing the residual scars. They should be as thin as possible, and I'd rather deal with a tiny scar than stretch marks. You can heal tiny new scars. Korean non touristy new clinics are the way to go just need to do more research on them.

iS clinical body complex has centella asiatica which is supposed to help with scarring. Mutha Body Butter worked for my daughter, she got them on her breasts when she became pregnant. Hers were still red when she started using the Mutha BB, she was ecstatic they were no longer visible days after using it. The price point for some of these creams is not ideal for many especially if you have to treat larger areas though.

Eyeroll. I’m gonna need MD’s speaking about this topic to stop assuming stretch marks are only ever red when they depress the skin. You can split videos between red and white or other color stretch marks and speak on the efficacy of treatments by appearance of the marks. You can also trust that frustrated, affected people don’t need a breakdown of the cause of stretch marks. We just want to know what will effin work.

I don't know about lasers(sorry), but what I can say is that rosacea is an external sign that something is going on internally. It could be a number of things: hormone imbalances, vitamin deficiencies, food intolerances, an immuno response, leaky gut/candida(extremely common) etc. You should look into getting tests done(with a naturopath doctor). Another bonus is to try(you'd have to make sure you are healthy enough) water fasting. Water fasting is SOOOOO beneficial for all kinds of healing(do the research, you'd be shocked). You may also want to look into the GAPS diet as well, if it turns out your gut is compromised.
