My mama taught me to put a little salt and vegetable oil in the pot while it’s boiling. Makes peeling a breeze! Didn’t know about the membrane thing! Good to know! ❤

I don't do the ice bath, just cold water. I do tap both sides & gently squeeze the middle. Peels perfect everytime for this cajun lady. 👩🦳😁

I just pour off the water the eggs boiled in and do pour cold water over them to cool them down a bit before crack n peel them. 😊❤

Worked pretty good but there’s a better way I learned several years ago due to having lots of fresh eggs when our chickens were laying. If you have ever tried to peel fresh eggs after boiling you will know it’s almost impossible. Also a quicker method. This is no secret as a lot of people do it. Steam your eggs. Takes about 10 min. Shell slides right off. Thanks for your video

I put baking soda & salt in my water & it's perfect every time, too! I also like using a spoon to get up under dat membrane! Try it!

He should have had the water boiling first. Then add eggs... 9 minutes.... ice water bath... tap and roll egg on towel til the sides crack. Works every time!

🤔 Floating egg is bad? That's a bunch of bologna. I boil & eat floating eggs all the time.
