I noticed a few years back that "life hack" channels like Troom Troom and the like have very $exualized/feti$h-y thumbnails. Not always! But a heck of a lot of them are. I don't know how that sort of content affects a child's mind, but I imagine it cannot be great for them to see this crud as "normal."

I'm 14 but I still understand better how Tiktok and social media are toxic and dangerous than my parents, who offered an iPhone to my youngest sister (She's 7) with full access to internet, Apple store, and even congratulated her when she told them she had 100 followers (On Tiktok). I've talked to them many times about how her content wasn't that much revolutionary, the fact that in 4 days she already had 50 followers... they didn't get what I wanted to say and told me I was just jealous. But what if I wasn't worrying for nothing? What if there is truly weird people behind their screens looking at my sister?

I felt this on such a deep level. All of my younger siblings (I have 6 younger than me) have their own phones/tablets/computers with 100% unrestricted internet access. Which has led to my 7yo brother learning about sex, not only without a parental figure to help him understand, but he learned about it solely through the lens of fetishes he came across (through websites like TikTok, etc). This was brought to my parents attention but they're so desperate to spoil them and give them unrestricted freedom, that they don't see this as a problem. It's disgusting. Children don't need internet/electronic privacy. It's borderline abuse (if not blatantly) to allow them to use something so mentally and potentially physically dangerous without supervision.
