I stumbled across you just yesterday. However I am smitten...not how you think though. Your infectious enthusiasm is a bright light! Also, I appreciate your obvious knowledge and sheer joy in analyzing vocals from my favorite genres of music. Your own singing (yes I did my searches) is quite amazing! I do sound design and also teach, but from the standpoint of aesthetic and narrative integration. Your comments definitely coincide with my approach. Anyway, I know you did 2 Queensryche videos. You must do 'Suite Sister Mary' from 'Operation Mindcrime.' I do suggest you research the song since it's part of a longer narrative within the album. It's heavily influenced from opera and the production value is just stellar. I realize you watch video versions so check it out from the live version, 'Operation Livecrime.' Also, please consider analyzing Rush. People either love or hate Geddy's voice. They have a very large catalogue spanning back to the early 1970's. His vocal style changed drastically over the decades. You could definitely do a series of his evolution.

You mentioned Pink Floyd... Last 20 years Steven Wilson has been compared to Roger Waters, and probably one of the most influential in the prog-scene. 2 choices: his band Porcupine tree and their 17 mins masterpiece Anesthetize, live from Tilburg. His solo project under his own name. Maybe "Routine" live from Albert Hall? Great duet with Ninet Tayib, who got a fantastic voice!

A couple of suggestions for you Elizabeth: 1. Annie haslam and the great prog rock group who not many people ever heard of, and who never quite got their just due, Renaissance. Albums in particular: turn of the cards, ashes are burning, sheherazade. You pick the song. They're all great. Not much by way of video available for them though--- Maybe start with "Mother Russia". Very long, moody, melodic operatic prog rock pieces. Different than, but sort of the nightwish of their day, in terms of high quality song writing and construction and superb musicianship. 2. ANYTHING by loreena mckennitt. A very unique and haunting and beautiful, one-of-a-kind voice, and very beautiful and haunting song writing---

You know who has developed into a pretty good singer, who'd be a great subject for a reaction? Bo Burnham, whose Netflix special "Inside" is pretty cool. I'd recommend "Welcome to the Internet". it's very musical theater in some ways, he does a villain voice and an evil cackle and everything.
