Diao Chan is my personal favorite of the Four Chinese Beauties, and in my opinion, her story of sacrifice for her father is one of the most memorable, despite there being no archaeological evidence of her existence. Just like the more famous Hua Mulan, who also went to war in her father's name (and is also said to be fictional), such demonstrations of filial piety are almost too good to be true, but nevertheless, have greatly influenced Chinese way of thinking for many generations.

I'm from Thailand and very interested in history of China especially the Qing Dynasty. I'd like to know about Qainlong's Nara Empress who had been deposed. Since I cannot read any Chinese, it is very difficult to find an good description in English or Thai about that event. So I would be very kind of you to do a story about her background, her relationship with her husband the Emperor, other consorts and what makes her life ended so tragic like that. While the name Diao Chan is fictional, I think that the figure itself is real. It's just a nameless handmaiden that filled her role. Which means, Diao Chan probably existed in real life... just probably not under the name Diao Chan.

In the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Dong Zhuo's death didn't start a new dynasty. It mark the end of the Han Dynasty and beginning of Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

But there is no historical evidence about "Diao Chan" except on "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" novel, she more like a myth or legends include her story with Lu Bu and Dong Zhuo. meanwhile Lu Bu and Dong Zhuo is a real historical figures including so many chinese historian telling about Battle of Hu Lao Gate and Battle of Luoyang, it always mention Lu Bu and Dong Zhuo.
