Nice video, thanks! My speedo face plate came loose and this allowed me to access it easy enough. Both screws that hold plate in place had backed out and were gone, leaving only the speedo cable and the turn knob holding the speedoometer mechanism in place. Found two screws that, had to shorten them a bit, but got them and now the face place is tight again.

FYI, those screws on the front fairing are not phillips, they are JIS, which is a different screwdriver type. Thats why they strip out so easy when trying to remove them

Nice video, Why wear those blue gloves doing a non oily job? generating less 'fine feel' touch....

Any chance you know what wire i should use off the ignition to power heated grips and a 12v receptacle?

The dash indicator turn signal bulb must be different then the neutral bulb, I ordered the T5 but only works for one side not both sides.

do you know to take off the needles for mph and rpm
@arctic_otter4 жыл бұрын
I would assume they're the same as regular truck ones; for those I use a fork and carefully lift up the needle around the circle base. Either that or carefully pull straight up with your fingers Only 99% sure though so go carefully. They usually are a little stuck at first. Be sure to mark the position of where they point before you take them off. Piece or masking tape with a pencil line for example.

JIS Screws, not Philips. That's why they got stripped ;>
