Back today with a new beaded moth brooch, this time with it's wings closed for a rest on a shoulder perhaps. Great for pairing with a suit or dress, or on a crimson peak inspired art nouveau costume perhaps? ✨

But wait there's more! A PO BOX finally wahoo!
First, a disclaimer: So many of you have kindly offered to send me things, including vintage items you may have inherited, and I am so honored you would think of me and of course I do adore vintage treasures, however, unfortunately I only have so much storage space currently! So there is a chance that if something just wont work for me, or doesn't fit me etc, that I may not be able to keep all of your lovely things. Please only send things if you are okay with the possibility that I may donate items I just cannot keep. If you would prefer I put things that I can't keep into the TCH Etsy shop to help raise funds for me and the channel, please specify this in a note or letter in your parcel. Thank you so much!

I'm an artist, jewelry and bead lover of all kinds. I've searched and collecting the supplies for making a beaded purse w/kiss closure. I've always loved the look and technique in bead art, the long sparkly flowing dresses. I might give this a try at first. You make it look so easy and doable and seems very therapeutic and with flow of creativity! ❤ Etsy, while I've found some suppliers with vintage sequins and beads most all are from another country and beautiful indeed. Well worth the wait. Thanks for the share and inspiration. Your creations are stunning

How lovely, my favourite too. In our local woods, behind my house, we have a moth specialist who comes and sets up a couple of times a year. We usually catch between 60 and 80 different species each time.. They are amazing. Each one goes in a clear plastic container, is examined, documented, then released. Great fun x

I have been realizing I not only had everything to create these kinds of embroidered pieces, but how much I enjoy playing with color, materials, etc. I followed one of your beaded bugs first, using similar materials, and then progressed to making more using different materials like silk thread, thin shell beads, and figuring out how to mount them on plaques. Absolutely gorgeous. I’ve been wanting to know how to create the fluffy body so thanks very much for sharing. I usually create small insects, frogs and animals using glass beads and wire.

You should sign and date them. They are a work of art! I only like butterflies, but your moths are awesome!

Love your color convinations when you do embroidery, in general i think the way you use color is very sophisticated. And believe the compliment, I'm an all black look type of guy.

This is stunning! It's so very tempting to throw away the list of things that need to get done and pull out all my beads! Adulting sucks!
