Nice to meet you, Ben, at the Tucson show on Saturday. I bought the nice Dime error struck on clad layer. It was a great show and I plan to attend again. Lots of great dealers with new unique stuff brought in from other areas.

Neat. Some cool coins there. The pre-Castro Cuban silver pieces are handsome.

Like it love it but unfortunately when it comes to the high end stuff I may as well be a ten yo sitting at a Cadillac dealership dreaming. Ben's customers deffinately are deffinately above my grade but once in awhile they leave some nice crumbs lay out for us peasants.

22:00 what years was NGC using those thin brown label holders? I have a coin in one of those and I'm just curious. It does seem nice for the grade but I'm new to grading so that's not said with much authority.

I like US coppers. The bright red IHC is really nice.I'm friends with my son's US history teacher,he is a Civil War buff,I have 2,1863 IHC's,common date,so I gave him one.He already has an A,so it wont sway his grade, lol. The 1841 Dennark coin is King Christian viii,he was also king of Norway, same time as the War of 1812.They were at war with Sweden at that time.Curious as to the Latin insricptions

I'm so confused id swear I've heard that ihc or bronzes and not coppers.so they never really are much red?

Thanks, some beauties there. Good thing those toners were in holders for you to buy, because if sent in raw (and I mean the exact same coins) whether they came back as "questionable color" or "artificially toned" would entirely be a crapshoot governed by the positions of various celestial bodies no doubt!. Like sliding into home, 'safe' for whoever managed to get those to have straight graded. Wonder if they sent in others nearly the same that didn't. It's an unknowable mystery for shizzle.

I can't wait till I'm done with all this legal B.S. I'm goin' threw now cauz I still have to file 2 seperate court cases & blah blah... time consuming... Newayz... That's a really nice Kennedy......

Forgive me for beating a dead horse, but these beauties bring with them stories to tell about the epoch within which they were minted. They're a cultural/historical/political snapshot of the day they were pressed. Bullion coins are soul-less zombies manufactured by a now-diminished U.S. Mint, which has sunken to the point where it's minting trinkets.
