He has the bad habit of putting a target on his head by building a strong board out of nowhere, while not having a way to protect it until the next untap... That lord he played didn't need to be played that turn, he could, and should, have saved it for the next turn, he didn't need to attack with it, just needed to give trample to the others and the +2/+2. By playing the lord he showed the table he would be a danger, without the lord giving trample, probably things would have been different, because he had big creatures sure but no trample so people could still chump. That's my view on the matter, saving the lord for when he could attack with the others, would have been a better play.

That's because he does nothing with it that turn (I get it. summoning sickness). It's basically taking your turn to build up super threatening, then giving three turns to actually do anything with it.

@@profozpin227 Tbf, I think it was less the board wipe and more the underhanded deal aspect. Lady danger intentionally and maliciously left the terms of the deal very vague on what she'd do and and was very specific on what she wanted to get out of it. She did more damage to her partner in the deal and didn't even handle the worst part of the opponent's board which was the ozolith.

36:34 this was an awesome opportunity to show people visually how the stack works, explain APNAP, FIFO, etc. And even explain why Necromantic Selection can steal commanders. Instead we see triggers mentioned after the fact. I think they should have used the opportunity.

They did delay and modified a ton of trigger during that game. I guess its easier for general viewer to understand the game. But as far I am concern I haven't seen one that would modify the board state.
