@@LisaFenton-h7f I'm not sure, from my experience however limited, how much Social Media has actually distorted things anymore sadly, bear in mind almost every 20-something girl you see on average is on and part of social media by default unless she lives out in the middle of nowhere completely alienated from society, meaning that the ones who aren't on social media are effectively a minority in a lot of cases, which means that what's on social media is a large amount of the actual women that age now and thus it's a more accurate depiction of reality these days than we'd all like to think. Even if it was initially a big distortion of things, it's a distortion that everyone was seeing and getting into their heads and so it will just become the reality anyway. Maybe it used to be very true that the internet is not at all indicative of reality, but with how increasingly _everyone_ is on the internet these days, it means this "reality" that supposedly exists outside and separated from the internet is going to just become less and less real with each year as the group of people detached from the internet sphere becomes smaller and smaller. So, and I don't mean this in a rude way, it very well might be possible that you're somewhat out of touch with a lot of 20-somethings, most middle-aged people I see who aren't actively involved in the scene tend to be. Because the reality is pretty noticeably bad, but on the other hand I kinda envy being out of touch with them like that because it means the world you see is much nicer and pleasanter lol, if you don't have to be so in touch with current things then don't because it will only eat your soul away.

Two kinds of women get "bored" with healthy. Type 1 - the toxic ones Type 2 - the ones who grew up without a healthy mold to learn from. Type 1 will probably always lean toward toxicity. Once it's broken, they will look for a healthy relationship and stick to it. It can be very difficult to tell which type you have found. One thing I learned from forty two years of living that I didn't know Orr believe when I was younger was, yes, women really do care about money and what you earn. Much more than I thought. Men care about looks a lot, women care about money. And those are both instinctive, so there's not much you can do to change that. But it's not a monoculture, men and women also care about other things, and most of us can be very happy with what we settle for (because most of us aren't billionaires or models). We find the beauty in one another and find the value in one another. Some people may just need the right conditions or to help others to see it more. Some things won't impress people up front, like majoring in early childhood education! Or, in my case, philosophy.

She truly supports love between couples, she has found it herself, she sees how even more toxic the dating scene has become in modern culture and she truly wants to help. I have been married 34 years to the same woman, no divorce, 3 adult adjusted kids for the most part. The true statistics about unhappiness in our society does not lie but modern 3rd and 4th wave feminists do lie to young people and they listen. They also try and balance it with fairytales on social media and end up confused. Social media has exponentially promoted unrealistic hypergamy. It used to be that young women would be limited geographically to a set group of men holding the same values for the most part. With less choices, it became easier for them to find happiness in a relationship and settle down. Men not in the Finance, Trust Fund, 6'5, blue eyed category had a chance and once a woman pair bonded with them in marriage and there still were not a lot of other men out there to tempt away, it made it easier. It was not always ideal and it would be wrong to go back to that now. We also find today that a large group of modern women are focusing on the 6'5 guy so much that 80 percent of the women are chasing less than 10 percent of the men. And those men are usually players treating them all badly. Advice in this nightmare: Get right with a higher power in a true religious sense first. Pray and be humble. Humility is an underrated virtue but it actually helps you see the dating pool clearly. Then, serve others in a volunteer or church service capacity and learn to pull yourself out of narcissistic behavior patterns. Only after doing this for a few months, date with new eyes. Do not look down on the friended pool. Find a man or woman with the same beliefs, religion, values. Living another way than this has been surveyed. They are mostly unhappy, depressed and suicidal. This is my advice, take it or leave it. Be truly happy or not.

I had these list of requirements that were not hard to achieve. Then I met someone who met all of these who lacked emotional control. It was scary. I blocked and unblocked him 3 times before i blocked him for good. So i forgot all of those standards and now I stick to the one standard: have emotional control. Im not saying this is always true, but if a guy says "I'm an emotional male" be weary. In my experience, that often means, "I have no emotional control, but expect you to have emotional control so I can get away with my lack of it." If that's ever the case, run. I have been forcibly exposed to too many of these men to not warn against them.

Far as I can tell they are much more concerned about height and money, that seems to be the one through line. Even the fat chick in the video wants a 5' 9" dude. I'm only 5' 8", I just don't qualify. Even though I'm fairly wealthy, the money doesn't trump the height issue. I try not to be an asshole to anyone though so that could be my issue as well.

The 3 cornerstone to a healthy relationship by Jordan Peterson: 1. You must be attracted to the person. 2. You must have reasonable measure of trust for that person. 3. You must be willing to negotiate through your differences continually. Our own: 4. You must have a measure of respect for the person you are in a relationship with. 5. Your happiness is not up to them and their happiness is not up to you. Happiness is a conscious and personal choice For anyone who is thinking about moving in with their boyfriend/girlfriend: it's hard to live with someone and not get in fights. But if you're married, you have a responsibility to resolve a conflict because you can't leave(if you think of marriage in this way). You're constantly evolving through these arguments and connecting more deeply everytime you resolve one. I'm a 19 y/o gal, and JBP is someone I greatly look up to. Don't underestimate his advice. This is a great argument for anyone interested in a serious relationship. Take a deep dive into what your potential partner would want from you and work on those aspects of yourself, in addition to the things you expect from yourself to begin with. I'm not saying women do not work on themselves, lots of them work very hard to improve in life. But rarely have I met a woman that specifically worked on things that would interest a potential mate, outside of superficial things like how she looks. Now this goes for most men too, but at least they usually take on responsibilities at some point in life and work at having a reasonable financial situation, which is attractive for most women. If a woman knew how to cook, or make art or takes care of animals, those would be things I would be very interested in seeing in a potential partner. Simple examples that anyone can pick up and happen to coincide with the things that I also love doing myself.

@Alexrider026 ай бұрын
@@Ribbitplease Yes, but how many of these women actually want to "nurture"? Modern women want to have their cake and they also want to eat it. They want all the benefits of traditional masculinity while providing no benefits of traditional femininity. Thus, modern women are beyond help.
