Their argument is that Starbucks charging more for the fake milk contributes to animal cruelty by discouraging people from choosing it over real milk. The fact it costs more and they sell less of it meaning they MUST charge more for it is beyond them. Remember that most of these people are also communists; basic economics is too complicated for them.
@sporkwitch2 жыл бұрын
@Laura UK It literally isn't. Between production and transport costs, as well as lower sales volume (not because of price, but because it tastes terrible), the unit cost is higher. The company passes these costs on to the consumer. Again, basic economics. If it was actually cheaper they'd push it over regular milk, because it would mean reducing their overall costs.
@Judah_Stroyer2 жыл бұрын
@Laura UK Starbucks stans wont go anywhere else and most other coffee shops don't have the same selection of non-dairy milk options Starbucks does. If the majority of Starbucks customers order non-dairy options then it only makes sense to make that option more expensive to take advantage of the demand.
@0910yoram2 жыл бұрын
@Laura UK well it doesn't work like that. Starbucks buys milk in more quantity, there for getting it for a cheaper price per liter. With Almond Milk, they buy less, so they don't get the discount that they get with the normal milk. Therefor making it more expensive for the company, and them charging more to the customer.

Occasionally, a vegan's gastrointestinal and mental issues get so severe that they give in to medical advice and try a few ounces of fish. Without exception they are amazed that the mental fog lifts in less than an hour, their stomach calms down, and even their flatulence decreases. Regrettably, some of the most severe gastrointestinal damage can't be repaired and some personality changes are permanent. Also, other vegans attack the former cultists viciously and relentlessly.

If what I am seeing in the video and the concrete looks like it does, it means that they just put they’re feet in it and have 1-2 hours before it solidifies. Longer the exposure, worse the burns will be. Hope this helps you understand!

I'm sure they are just standing in cement blocks with some non hardening liquid on top like wet flour. If they had stuck their feet in wet cement they'd risk losing their feet to burns and tissue damage because quickcrete. There was a girl who lost fingers while making a plaster cast in an arts class. Shoes might protect some, but nah they didn't do it for real because the burns can be very serious, like losing toes.

Brett, grass fed beef and milk is not always good. It has no positive difference on the beef or milk,if anything it is taking away some nutritional benefits. Grass fed does not equal healthy cow. Cows need protein and substance, that’s why you can have grain fed too and they will be just had happy. I encourage you to look into this and maybe do a episode about it because no a lot of people know this. 8:56

@@Gengh13 yep, to grow grains and legumes you have to prevent all other life for many acres, but well raised meat of ruminant animals comes from a highly functioning carbon negative ecosystem teaming with life. You don’t have to worry about methane on grasslands either, because there is a functional nitrogen cycle on land with more than 2% organic matter. Methanotrophic bacteria live in the soil and convert free nitrogen to plant available nitrogen in exchange for carbon rich sugars. The soil food web is miraculous and mysterious. It pains a cow not to be milked because humans have selectively bred cows to produce ten times more milk than they naturally do. The only reason cows produce milk in the first place is to nourish their babies, which is why cows need to give birth before they start lactating. The solution is NOT to forcibly impregnate a cow against her will to cause her to start lactating, then prevent her baby from breastfeeding from their mom by separating them from each other so we can milk a cow who would only feel pain when not milked because of a problem we created in the first place.

None of their logic is grounded in facts, reasoning or logic. They think veganism is the end all be all. For starters you have crops like lettuce that requite TONS of water for very little nutritional value. If we reduce factory farmed meats we're going to reduce the amount of organic fertilizer, such as manures. This will cause organic food to increase even more in cost due to organic fertilizers costing more due to there being less animal by-products used for organic fertilizer. So organic fertilization for mass food production is out. That leaves synthetic salt based fertilizers, which are HORRIBLE for the environment. Salt based nutrients essentially poison the ground with toxic levels of salt buildup that destroys the beneficial bacteria/microbes in the soil. Not to mention this creates toxic runoff to go straight into rivers. You can't magically just decide to replace that huge cow pasture with crops, just because land is there, doesn't mean you can get things to grow in it. This nonsense is coming from people that's never even touched actual soil in their lives.
@Welcher72 жыл бұрын
The argument against that is we also have to produce enough food/grains to feed the animals before we eat the animals. So we are clearing land for crops to feed the animals as well as crops to feed humans. Ive seen information for both sides but as we know, data can easily be manipulated and there are interest groups on both sides that have incentive to mislead with the data. Ive decided to eat a vegan diet but still dont know which set of data to believe. Its all become too intertwined in political tribalism
@johnchesterfield97262 жыл бұрын
So basically, this was all one big fat nirvana fallacy. Just because veganism isn’t a perfect solution doesn’t mean it is better than the current agricultural system in place today.
