Atmospheric band to listen in my teens along with Amplifier, pink Floyd, sonic youth, at the drive-in and early biffy If i describe there's sound i would either post rock or post metal. If it wasn't for oceansize, i wouldn't got into swervedriver, my Bloody Valentine, explosions in the sky or mogwai.

2:55 is just breathtaking and really when you can hear the rhythm of the song transform into melody. I'd challenge anyone to find an equivalent sound to this in progressive metal.

I love this album, I think the vocals really give this band a unique feel from other artists playing a similar style which usually have a darker feeling. This music is somehow immersive and uplifting, especially frames!

@pinholedst to be honest that comment was just ignorant. To me oceansize are the best band out there today, i don't know how you could ever find there music boring. As for the odd time signatures, yes it's a fantastic feature but that is not the reason why this band are so brilliant. There music is just so interesting it has so many overlaying lines and riffs, if you listen to the drummer, he uses so many different rythms and the sound that they produce when it all comes together, mindblowing.
