I have always said I am not a religious person but ever since I started watching y’all, seeing y’all be so open abt your faith has honestly made me a lot more open minded abt religion/curious abt it. Okay this is a long one. I currently have breast cancer and am going through chemo. It has me whooped. I have a lot of time on my hands so I found you guys through Matt and Abby's podcast. I have had the time to go and watch everyone of your past videos. I have fallen in love with your family, not in a weird way, but I respect you and appreciate the entertainment you have given me. I want you to know that your platform is working. I have found myself falling from my relationship with God, but listening to you both and the Love you have for him is bringing me closer. If I didn't feel I would be dead, and so many are not given the chance to even feel bad. I am the blessed one that gets to push through this. So many just get diagnosed and don't have a chance. Hey!! Just want to give some encouragement from one T1 mama to another (background, my hubby found y’all and was like “Omgeee it’s us!!”. I was diagnosed as a T1D January 2022 at age 26). I’m proud of y’all for getting the t1 manager first, I remember that was one of our goals too- for me to have an A1C of below 7 before even trying. We found out I was pregnant august of 2022 and my A1C had gotten down to 5.9 🙌 now I am 34 weeks pregnant and we’ve had no complications so far!! It’s more difficult than what I imagine a non-diabetic pregnancy is, but totally possible! Pick up the healthy habits now, then when God decides it’s time for baby #2, you’ll already be in a good place! Thanks for being awesome and transparent! Y’all are such a joy!

I am currently getting help for my postpartum depression/anxiety and I saw you on Matt and Abby's podcast talking about your story with postpartum depression/anxiety. Hearing you talk about what you went through and how you are doing now, is helping me be hopeful that I will also get to that same place. Took medication for years but I have trusted God and leaned on him this past 8 months with out medication. There will be hard times! I love what you said about how sex isn’t talked about enough within the Christian community. My husband and I are huge on this subject not being taboo with our kids when they’re older. I think the reason most teens experiment or have premarital sex is because it’s taboo and they’re curious. Even with adults (especially the older generation) it’s not talked about enough or openly-especially within the church, which is where it should start! This leaves little to no guidance for those who have questions or are seeking help in this area with their spouses. This is honestly one of my favorite things to talk about because I think it should be normalized since it is such a precious gift that God wants us to enjoy in a marriage.

Thank y'all for sharing this. I wasn't a Christian when my now husband and I started dating and he wasn't active in his faith and we did have sex before marriage. It was great, but when I got saved I wanted to change and my husband was getting closer to the Lord as well. When we got married it felt so wrong to have sex and I had a very hard time getting back into. I thought the Lord was punishing me even though I had asked for forgiveness. I was worried that it didn't feel as pleasurable and that it felt wrong because I was messed up. It's refreshing to hear that you sort of felt the same in a sense. Thank you BOTH for being real and for sharing His love. It is something to be cherished.

as someone who also struggled badly with anxiety/depression and was on medication for so long…. giving those feelings and characteristics to Him was one of the best decisions. i do want to encourage you that you WILL have anxious moments or seasons of mental health downfall, especially because of spiritual warfare, but trusting God in those moments are vital! ♡

11:55 I’m crying🥺 I feel so happy for her. I relate so much. It just makes me happy that I’m not alone. 2019/2020 I was so close with God and at that time I was going through so much at 13/14. Even before then, I would always pray to God that he keeps my family safe and healthy. Not sure when but all of the sudden I just stopped. My relationship with god is just… not there I guess. But now I have my best friend encouraging me to go to church with her. And watching you guys have just motivated me so much more. And I’m so so thankful for you guys🥰

Be strong in the Lord! Cast your cares on Him. I was on anxiety medication for YEARS and Dr. Caroline Leaf was a guest speaker at our church and I felt so concocted to stop taking it. I haven’t been on it since and have had 2 more babies since I stopped taking it. I struggled with depression and anxiety after each of those babies but I just worshipped and praised through it. We have authority over evil in Jesus name. When he died on the cross, he granted us permission to use His name, and His name sets us free from any disease, worry, sickness and evil! I love watching you guys! Keep sharing your love for Jesus!

I truly believe that it is the enemy giving you those overwhelming anxious thoughts but I pray God will show how he can heal and show how can he triumph over everything. I’m praising God for this! I went through depression and anxiety for years and was on the highest dose of the hardest medications. When I finally gave it to god and decided to come off the pills I slowly came off it and it was like I was blind and then being able to see , deaf and then being able to hear! You get all the feels but all the glory to God that my anxiety and depression are healed! It’s been three years that I have been off of the medication! I do have moments of anxious thoughts but just remember when you have those thoughts you’ve gone too long without thinking of our SAVIOR! IM so proud that your giving it to God and what a testament in itself!
