You can see it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bqDJXmiioLiBr7M The Working TItle Mod will program holds but I have seen it mess up entries and they are aware of it. I will do a video on go arounds soon. There are a lot of videos I want to make but I love requests from viewers.

Now a question, why ATC uses the same "mic" as people on airplanes or helicopters?
@NoDakExpress4 жыл бұрын
The headsets and mechanism is a bit different for controllers. The controllers almost all wear a small earpiece with a tiny mic boom that goes beside their mouth. Much smaller and more simple than the common headsets used in general aviation.

That was great. After a while you start to know what they’re going to tell you and as long as you hear what you’re expecting it’s good. I guess when you get the unexpected you just deal with it as best as you can, and remember I think you can always say unable.
@thecorporatepilotdad3 жыл бұрын
Precisely. Talking to ATC gets easier the more you do it. If you say unable they may get upset or say put your compass on E and leave my airspace. I usually say unable when the airplane can’t do what they are asking due to a limitation. There is another video like this using PilotEdge on the channel.

Question why do i see you change oil and fuel mixture constantly
@thecorporatepilotdad4 жыл бұрын
It was a short flight, I leaned it during cruise to rich of peak (so I had to see the EGT peak, then watch for a 50 temperature degree drop as I enrichened the mixture), then enrichened the mixture in the descent. Leaning the mixture only reduces the amount of fuel to match the reduced amount of air at higher altitudes for proper combustion. It does nothing with oil.

Question: Would you suggest becoming an air traffic controller?
@thecorporatepilotdad4 жыл бұрын
That all depends on you. Do you have a passion for it? It can be a fantastic job but extremely stressful, horrible hours, moving to where they need controllers, not where you want to go, and keeping a medical certificate like a pilot. If you are interested in it, I would say look into it and try it. The pay is good but any job that has good pay has that good pay for a reason. You're earning your money and there is a reason they have to pay a lot to get people to do it. There are colleges that have ATC programs. Here is a link with colleges that have ATC programs: www.universities.com/programs/air-traffic-controller-degrees @NoDak Express Gaming helped me make this video and he played the part of ATC and is a former controller. Good to hear a real ATC using phonetic pronunciation properly. Don't pilots do the same in America (they do in the rest of the world)?
@thecorporatepilotdad5 ай бұрын
Yes. Pilots around the world all use the same phonetic alphabet derived by ICAO in the late 1950s. Prior to this change, there was Alpha, Baker, and Charlie in the United States. Baker became Bravo and Sugar became Sierra asking several other changes that can be found in a Google search. This change eliminated confusion from similar sounding words.

So its not "REAL ATC" which is the keyword that brought me here. I tell you what REAL ATC is, they are flights coded by a decent addon programmer using audios from real life ATC in mp3 format recorded from the varios channels such as Live Atc, for a particular city, airport, approach, departures, including chatting from other planes, airlines in the area...for a specific Approach, STAR procedure. These existed in previous versions of sims, such as FS2004, by authors Patrizio Migliola and Fermin Fernandez, with even complete Alitalia flights from departure. So you will listen in the sim once you load the flight and plan, a real ATC as it happenend in a particular day in history instructing you to your waypoints, clearance, altitudes, headings ILS, etc. THATS REAL ATC. It doesn existe in MSFS 2020 because programmers today are lousy
@thecorporatepilotdad3 жыл бұрын
It is ATC communications recreated by myself (professional pilot) and a former Air Traffic Controller. The point in the title is this is what real ATC sounds like. If you want real ATC in MSFS get PilotEdge. It’s the only thing I’ve seen and used that is accurate to the real world. The coverage area is limited but if you want to learn ATC for the real world or want live ATC communications, that’s the program to use.
@thecorporatepilotdad3 жыл бұрын
@@luisbezerrak6727 ATC communications and radio chatter are lacking in MSFS as you said. Even in a real sim we use for initial and recurrent training they have recorded ATC chatter in the background. Not all instructors use it but it is available. And yes, even PilotEdge has proper phraseology but the audio doesn’t mimic a radio transmission. The technology is there. MSFS is still a young sim. It will get there eventually.
