Oh my gosh, you’ve now done absolutely amazing videos on all three places my husband and I have lived in here (Chapala, Guadalajara, and Guanajuato). Watching this made me miss being there so much, and you even did a few things -I had no idea the baseball stadium was so pretty!- that we’ll have to put on our list for next time we go back to visit. You are too cute and fun. I arrived yesterday and it's a HOLIDAY...WOW! Everything is just as you described and I'm not just stunned but overwhelmed. It's one big party. I'm jealous of your room. I booked late not knowing and am thankful for a tiny clean room, which is just a 7 min walk to the kissing spot...although because of holiday the line was immense all day. And it IS walkable. Driveable? Not so much! It is only a few hundred meters from one e d of the Centro to the other, so bring good walking shoes and check out the tiendas along the way. And rest in the small plaza or sidewalk cafes.

I'm pointing to the Cervantes festival in October in Guanajuato. It's 21 days long and full of great art & musical performances. It's the largest such festival in the world.

Thank you for the excellent tour! I stayed in Guanajuato for a month and loved this place, such a beautiful, vibrant, and romantic city! We have gone to many places all over Mexico and it would get my vote as one of the most beautiful. Love the weekend street vendors and eateries. Only issue is it gets pretty busy in El Centro on weekends and be prepared for a lot of hilly walking.

Love you guys! I lived in southeast Mexico back in the 70’s when poverty was so prevalent but I fell in love with the people and the culture. You guys and others have inspired me to get a place down there since I still speak Spanish and thinking Guadalajara where I can make trips to places like Guanajuato.

Hi Kelly, those groups are called in Mexico "Estudiantinas" since traditionally they were tipical ensembles formed by univesity students (estudiantes-estudiantina). They are an inheritance from Spanish culture. Mexico and Spain also share a name for these groups "Tuna". The name Tuna I do not know where it comes from, I have not been able to investigate its origins.. Greetings

This great video was very good and very interesting! even for some Mexicans such as me! for example! and I'm from Mexico City! This great town looks as good as even some of the best places in Europe! This beautiful place might as well be one of the best small cities in America! and maybe even in the whole world! besides it's relatively so close to Mexico City! and therefore to all of the people in North and Central America! as well! and it also looks so very romantic! and such a fine place to visit! or even to stay there for a longer period of time! specially with the one you love! therefore I guess that even you two might as well have even fallen in love again there! in such a beautiful place! Close to Guanajuato city is San Miguel de Allende, like less than two hours driving. It is Valenciana town on the north side of the city with old mines. It is a very nice small old mining town named Mineral de la LUZ and close to the Monuments of Cristo REY on the very top of the mountain about an hour from Guanajuato city.

You two are so funny, specially Adam, he is more than a comedian. He made me laugh which I really needed because I just lost my beloved husband on June 19 2022( Father Day)due to a very aggressive brain cancer!😥😥 We love Mexico. One of our daughter is married in Cancun. We also love Ajijic and Chapala. I miss Mexico so much, without my husband I won't be able to visit Mexico again!!! Remember that 'j' makes an 'h' in Spanish not a 'w' More American and European immigrants live in San Miguel de Allende than in Guanajuato which is weird

Yes we found Guanajuato to be prettier than SMA, but I think they like the quieter, slower pace there maybe. Oh yes! Thank you so much for reminding us - we know that but I think sometimes we fail to annunciate correctly! Will remember that!!

Wow! i see why this is called the most beautiful city in Mexico! I absolutely loved the colors of all of those buildings! can't believe i've never heard of this city and that it isn't more known internationally! Thanks for sharing

Guanajuato is indeed a beautiful place but, those musicians you called mariachi band, wasn't a mariachi band, in Guanajuato, they play what they call "musica nortena" and they don't wear the classic mariachi outfit that every mariachi band wears, just so you know. Nice video tho

Great video, thank you guys, I enjoyed all and specially the food, the Tortas and the Spaghetti, wow. One thing, did you known that in October there is the Cervantino Festival (Miguel de Cervantes, a classical Spanish writer) and all of Guanajuato city is devoted to the cultural arts for a couple of weeks, it’s impressive

Haha so interesting! Maybe the city gives you 1 and you have to keep it on you so instead of taking it home and back everyday that is a better alternative?
