Love all Your videos, Some are funnier than others but to me they all have been awesome. Frankie does add some humor to the videos. But the way you all do so many different things. The way you've raised her contributed to the way she behaves now. You all are a Blessing to us. God bless You and Your Family.

I always add fresh organic lemon slices and occasionally orange slices to mine to boil. Then just before I bottle it I had Theives , lemon, rosemary, oregano, and any other essential oils to it. Just remember to shake it good before you take it

The birds were getting my muscadines. I put rubber snakes in the vines. It worked great. Just don’t forget about them and give yourself a heart attack.

My mom's fence line is overrun with elderberries and she's big in the medicine chest herbs. She makes about 60 jars a year and then she's like "oh no I have 60 jars of elderberry syrup" and pawns most of them off to members of the church.

You can get sick from them not everybody has the same reaction to the toxin in them and quantity probably plays a role in this as well.
@colinvoss8484Ай бұрын
@@3MISSISSIPPI yes but if they were that toxic the birds would not eat them let alone the coons and opossums.
@colinvoss8484Ай бұрын
@@3MISSISSIPPI yes there is some toxins in them but there's toxins in apples and other fruits that if you consume too much will make you sick.

I read that the green elderberry remain poisonous even if cooked. We always pick the green ones out. We didn’t get very many this year the birds wiped us out lol

@colinvoss8484Ай бұрын
You definitely are nuts who told you they were toxic I have never heard that.
@3MISSISSIPPIАй бұрын
Just because you never heard of it doesn’t mean it’s not true. That is the main reason why you cook the juice and not just juice, the berries and drink it. Google is free : es, raw elderberries are toxic and can cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. This is because they contain toxic substances like sambunigrin, which are eliminated by cooking. Consuming large amounts of the toxin can cause serious illness.
@SouthernBlessedHomesteadАй бұрын
Before you spew stupid comments out your mouth you should go google what you don’t know. Let me help you out, the first thing that pops up is Elderberries are TOXIC!!

No, as I said, it doesn’t seem to affect birds and some other animals, but it is toxic to humans.
