@@KSRPerformanceFabrication Hey Kevin, a couple things I've been thinking about on burnout cars is do you think front independent handbrakes would help you steer when doing burnouts and how much cooling could you add by making coolant hoses out of aluminum and welding fins on them like on a hot water baseboard heater? I think the fins could add a significant amount of cooling especially on a car with a rear mounted radiator and the handbrakes would allow the car to pivot on one tire.

I used to work at an Oldsmobile dealership when those cars were new. Even though they couldn't fall out of a tree fast and you had to time them with a calendar at the track, they were good looking and comfortable cars for the day! Can't wait for the build.

Oh come on man, I had a 77 and it was the fastest thing I have ever driven at that time, well, I should mention it was my first car, so it really was the fastest thing I have ever drove at that time. He He He. It was a nice riding car though.

"fall out of a tree fast",, I spewed my coffee on that one! Too damn funny,, BUT sadly it was true :) I had an '80 and even though it was a slug with it's 305 it got good mileage, the body styling was so nice and it rode like the preverbial (sp) Cadillac. I really liked the car but kept it only 3 or so years. You know what they say,, "I wish I could have kept that car" but truth is we had no space AND needed it as a trade in. Kevin will take this little Olds into the 7's,, we know that's where he's headed,, perhaps into the 6's. KSR and 'HIS' little OLDS FTW!

Had around 65k miles on it when it was torn apart. If you're close to the north east Ohio area I'd like to sell it to somebody that will put it back on the road.
