Great work team, I like the questions of how to suss out people who are truly good for you and be willing to commit to them. On the other hand, John's question on relationship with parents during a job interview sounds abit suss 😅 And the question does come across as judgy and simplistic to fully comprehend this parent-child dynamics as there is a long history between parents and children for the child to come into that conclusion. As an adult-child to my divorced mother, the relationship is rough and there were many conflicts to the point it became physical /family violence (mother threw me out of home and threw medicine at me) and I had to move out. In a job interview, my answer would be I dont have a good relationship with my mom and I wouldn't explain all these nitty gritty details because "don't hang dirty laundry", ya know what I mean? In that case I would have certainly failed your job interview test 😅 My point is, not everything is as simple as it seems. It takes time to know someone, if they are in your corner or just faking it

agreed, i don't think a job interview is the correct setting to ask something so personal. how is this question relevant to the hiring process? i find it kind of unprofessional. anyway, people who experienced difficult childhoods and even abuse would find it hard to talk about.
