Because music industry don't want to promote those kind of rock songs again from the 70's years,when peoples used to protest against the gov's establishment in mass. Now most of brainwashed peoples will prefer to hear song they called "rock" Jonas brothers, Panic at the Emo, My Lamecall Romance, etc...

Don't insult music that others might appreciate just because you don't. It's different styles, and each style has a period in time in which it is revolutionary. This kind of rock, as you said it, was a revolution in the 70's. Panic at the Disco, My Chemical Romance, etc (since you couldn't even write them correctly) had their shine as well. These days, the music industry has more their eyes set for music that will give them profit, and not necessarily the quality that we see in music.
