Sorry to ask as I am not a gun expert, but what use do silencers have?
@theweaponsmerchant51408 ай бұрын
@@Tacoguy1000 the biggest thing is flash elimination and reduction of sound report at the shooters ear. It’s physically impossible to silence the firearm but what the suppressor does is reduce the decibel level so that the shooter doesn’t immediately loose all hearing especially in confined spaces. It’s still very loud generally speaking but I’d still rather have it than not.

this is one of the most grounded and real feeling stories i've listened to and you do a great job making the characters feel like real people. I also find the concept fascinating, there are several REAL stories of people coming close to or piercing a veil that wasn't meant to be pierced, and the events are covered up in a similar manner as this story. I think this story does a great job at asking a simple question with a lot of implications: "How much is being hidden from us?"

What dumb kind of aliens would be able to travel through space and time to invade earth, just to be beaten by a man with a bat and some fcking water. All that Christianity shit in between didn’t help the movie either.. Still had fun watching it just because I had to laugh every 2 minutes about the absurdity, though. ^^

this story is absolutely AMAZING. this is the type of story I subscribed to. In the beginning, when I just found the channel, I've listened through all the best ones, and then I was left with the bloody-ghostly stuff that just isn't what I was looking for. BUT THIS. Damn, I love the tension, how it was put in "found tape" format, how we as listeners slowly put pieces together ourselves through the story. Nothing was "served" and told us upfront, it unfolded slowly. And the most haunting ones, are always the stories that aren't about something horryfying and scary, but the ones that are collected from small details. This is one of those. It's the small details. Amazing story, amazing narrations, thank you SOOO MUCH for it, I really feel like I'm brought back to life after such stories.
