You are far from boring Dave , you are a brilliant teacher and I could listen to you ramble on all day . The light n shade soloing at the end of this tutorial is incredible. Don’t ever stop making these videos 🤞

Really great instructional videos are these Dave for all learning aspiring guitarists to watch and learn from. Your relaxed steady pace of instruction makes it all achievable for potential players if they go away and practise what you've preached afterwards. Thanks for making them mate!

Peter Green did a lot more for me than BB. Love it all anyway. Can't wait for the Peter Green based lesson; your take on his style is going to be well scrutinised that's fer durn sure! Meanwhile, every "in the style of" installation in this much appreciated series is superlative...how you can doubt yourself is perplexing Dave, but maybe that's what keeps your edge honed 🤔🙂👍

Really awesome lessons, this was the best till now! I know the chords, the scales and some licks.. The bla bla.. but only now, all of a sudden I just feel it inside. This unlocked the feeling of blues and it all makes sense now. Eager for what is to come! Thank you so much!

But surely Dave Four notes makes this Jazz???? LOL. Seriously though, thanks for slowing it down, my poor old fingers can finally keep up. These videos, where you give your advice and experience explaining how you play, and by inference how we can all improve, are great, by the way, I sincerely hope you take a few more styles and dissect them in you own inimitable way. Oh, and you had me at BB KIng - my hero! 🎸😎👍

Great lesson Dave. Watching it I realized I'm not that far off from BB king's style of playing. I have my own style which is more fluid and has more notes thrown in and I totally get BB king's way of playing. It's ok to have your own style as long as you pour feelings into it, that's what I think matters in the end.

I improvised a blues solo for a friend's track, and wasn't happy with it. I tried to overlay two takes when I discovered it sounded much better if I just cut whole sections out and scrapped take 2 completely. I take my left hand off the fretboard now for as long as I dare now to stay minimal. Great playing as ever, Dave!
