You really have to react to Psychopomp. It's my alltime favourite from The Tea Party. If you like dark and emotional you'll be well served.

As a Canadian, happy to see you doing some Tea Party reactions/reviews! Great tune. Also, the method you use to teach your students upbeat/downbeat is super helpful, thanks for the tip! If you're looking for more of that middle eastern guitar melody, A Thousand Days Before is another good one by Soundgarden.

Check out "The Halcyon Days" for more of that harmonic minor sound. Arguably one of their best songs, too.

Awesome the Tea Party do some rare and unusual things. Check out Fire in the Head, Sister Awake and The River are epic.

Ok here because I'm interested in this. Some of it's old school stuff that meanders and some it don't meander. Which is it? Eastern sounding. Sort of a heavier Kashmir? I think maybe the guitar/bass flip comes from that, eastern stuff tends to be rythem driven? Jinjer does things that are similar (but completely different). It's different which is it's selling point I think, catches your attention. Is the upbeat accent typical of Eastern music, is that what gives it that feel?( Legit question, wanna know) I can see that score given the way it catches interest. Was the distortion to simulate the instruments from that culture? Ditto for the vocals? I really don't know enough, shrugs. Great, very interesting reaction!

The drummer drives this band, and it shows in the music. Highly underrated talent, much like Jeremy Taggart of Our Lady Peace. Check out The Birdman by OLP, first track of the album Naveed

i never heard this before but i've heard Temptation, Heaven Came Down, and The River - they have what some call a Morrocan roll to their music

As you are seeing one of our hidden talents up here in Canada :) Thought you may enjoy this one, not the typical arrangement on roles agreed, so I WAS interested to see what you thought!

@@THEDavidHeretic i got nailed with Delta and still suffering bad effects from it. The worst is that listening to GOOD music is bad for me right now, my hearts Bpm sky rocket to insane levels when I start getting into a song. I’m on an Oximeter and heart monitor and you should have seen my bpm rocking you to the reacts in catching up on lol.
