"What is the answer outside of The Bible?" "Bible, Bible, Bible." "But you said you'd give evidence outside The Bible? What is that evidence." " And I will, just give me a chance. Bible...BIBLE, BIBLE, BIBLEBIBLEBIBLE...the book I'm shilling...BIBLE BIIIIIBLE." "That's not an answer." "The question is illogical." Guy -- it's not an answer but a date. 09/23/26 is the autumn equinox of the Illuminati's 250th year. It is also just a few days more than 1,260 days Before 03/22/2030, the Beginning of the 3rd, 1000-year day of heaven since Jesus taught us the Brotherhood of ALL Men (Okay, that's Biblical, but no one else recognizes 2 Peter 3: 8. ) See Pike's WW3 dogma (not Biblical, but may reveal some of the answers you seek). The Christian Prophecy says Many Are Fooled. That's Biblical, but Many Christians call Trump God's Chosen. Never is a chosen one revealed in the Last Days. They are already fooled. Hint: I have Spirit Capacity to see just a few years ahead. I do NOT Prophecy. You cannot take my word for any of this. You must exercise faith and ask God yourself. Expect an answer.

Ones that teach that if a voice in your head tells you to murder your son, it's a blessing from god and you should just go with it. So no! Ancient teachings don't get automatic respect just because they're old. And before you wheel out the old _"Ah, but in the NT Jesus dies to change all that"_ ... no he fucking doesn't you deluded pricks! - _"I do not come to change the (mosaic) law, but to fulfill it"_ - _"For verily I say unto you, Till. heaven and earth pass, one jot or one. tittle shall in no wise pass from. the law, till all be fulfilled."_ So, remember to stone people to death, it's Gods law... from the time of moses till LONG after the tribulation... till heaven itself ceases to be No changes! Not even a dot! - _"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send [or bring] peace, but the sword."_ - _"But of the teachings that I give to you, teach them not to others lest they might be saved"_ So, dig out your O.T. and start living by it. Start with the blood sacrifices and the murder and the disfigurement... conquer your enemies and make wives of their daughters and slaves of their women ... or, y'know, kill every man, woman, child, pet and even the livestock - Cus God loves a good ritual cleansing! Hell, he demands it! Wise teachings, my hairy arse! Want a pearl of biblical wisdom? How about when Jesus saw people washing their hands after preparing meat and before eating... and said: That is a custom of man and should NOT BE FOLLOWED. For nothing that goes into your mouth can harm you, only what comes out of it. Really Jesus, you all-knowing son of a bitch? Why not say _"Actually, that's not a bad idea - you should probably alll do that! ... cus, y'know, antibiotics haven't been invented yet and germs are a thing."_ Oh wait, that's right - he didn't know about germs. He was, after all, just a man of unenlightened times. So much for wisdom. So no, you DON'T have an automatic right to have respect for your ancient teachings... Not when those teachings were spread by the sword across half of the world. Not when even today they are used to harm and subjugate others. Not when those teachings have had the christian church killing alchemists (Today: Chemists), people who are in commune with devils (today: Schizophrenics) people who have the devils foresight (Today: People who thought ahead) ... and, of course, witches (Today: Anyone who disagrees with the status quo, upsets the church or is just unlucky enough to be the one the village blames for a run of bad luck... or had a birthmark... or a scar... or a deformity... or was seen talking to an animal... or had cataracts... etc) The history of christianity is a fucking bloodbath. It didn't improve until the church LOST power. And thank goodness it did because it brought nothing but death and darkness whilst it had political sway across europe. Hell, Satan himself couldn't have done better. Sorry. I got a bit dark for a moment : / I know, lets all sing Psalm 137 to cheer ourselves up... _"Blessed shall he be who takes your infants and dashes them against the rocks!"_ Inspiring!

Let's face it. Anyone who writes a book is going to *cherry-pick* items from their research that support their beginning premise---whether it's a false premise or not. That's the nature of book writing. Some authors are more interested in seeking truth than pushing a presupposed agenda. The reader's job is to suss out the authors intent and go from there. Gallup is one who is clearly NOT looking for "truth"...and is only interested in pushing his malformed premise through his book. Truth seekers can see the con job for what it is, nearly instantly!

+Blake Rulz "BECAUSE IT IS VERY VERY CLEAR THAT "Non-Believers" , People who mock the Faith etc etc.. Are just as much INVOLVED WITHIN THE BIBLE, As much as a believer is involved with The Lord.. YET RAGING THAT NO, THEY ARE NOT!!!" I don't think you really thought this one through. Sure, the book talks about us. Just like a psychopath might smear the reputation of those who have done him bad in the past. Just like scientologists talk endlessly about therapists being the spawn of satan. Just like the Quran talks about Christians. And its odd that you insist we shouldn't say anything critical of you and your fellow believers, yet you're defending a book that says very critical things of non believers. If I may continue your analogy, think about it this way: Would you trust: a) A person who specializes in changing tired to change your tires or b) Someone who claims tires speak to him at night to change your tires? Diligence is only a virtue circumstantially. A scam artist often must be diligent if he is to succeed in roping people into his plans, yes? To call diligence a virtue is vastly oversimplifying things. Anyhow, I think people here are more interested in the word of *historian,* particularly those specialized in ancient Israelite or middle eastern culture, because these are people who are unbiased and specialize in analyzing historical evidence, whereas pastors are specialized in selling the Bible. Its like the different between talking to Alex Jones, an "expert in nutritional advice," or an actual expert in nutritional advise. And sometimes we need to look out for specific faults in others. And I don't mean in the sense of actively trying to attribute people with those faults regardless of if they are there or not, I mean just to make sure you're not trusting someone when you shouldn't. And not all these faults are even moral faults, but possibly faults of judgment, faults of critical thinking, etc., which warrant doubt as far as trusting those people's pronouncements. Fearing a deity is not the beginning of wisdom, anymore than loving a burrito is the beginning of intelligence, or being mildly disappointed with a movie is the beginning of charisma. The equation of "Fear of Lord = Wisdom" is simply to convince you not to question the cult, out of either fear or awe. Its no different a pronouncement than a cult leader saying that the fear of whatever god or spirits he speaks for, channels, represents, etc., is necessary to live a long, happy life, to understand the plan of the divine for you, etc.. Its just another in a long succession of very similar, very spurious, very *manipulative* claims. I think you're trying awfully hard to put people down for someone insisting we should love others, to categorize nonbelievers into a particular camp. It seems disingenuous?

Having previously been very religious, I laugh now at how Christians will quote something from the Bible, but build it up with (“now listen to this, this is important”, “see how he answers them”) so that you think the quote is going to be amazing, and then when you hear it, it is some abstract statement, like “then you will know I am God”. The abstract statement is then used to fit whatever crazy theory they’re trying to explain, whereas the statement on its own doesn’t really mean anything. It’s also interesting to note the way this guy argues. Every question gets a long-winded round-about, circular story/answer. It’s like he’s trying to entrance his readers/listeners. When you interrupt his answer he gets ticked because it interrupts his spell-casting style and he has to start all over again.

hjorturerlend Well noted, my friend. The buybull is, indeed, replete with conjecture, contradiction, out-right fabrication, and fantastic, natural-law-defying claims of events that contemporary Romans (known to have been a bit obsessive about *documenting* things) never mentioned. It's outrageous that anyone accepts ANY of it as "true" in the 21st century.
@hjorturerlend

The reason it´s accepted is simple - the text is so damn lofty and purposefully "mystical", most people don´t bother reading it (900 a4 pages of Procopius was a joy to read in comparison), and I mean *read* it, not recite it. Also background historical knowledge* is needed, atleast an active gymnasium/high school course with lots of extracurricular reading. Due to the assembled nature of the texts, it´s also very hard to follow what little there is of a plot (4 gospels trying, and failing, to tell the same story? And fucking *letters*!). Add to that that most of their contact with the book(s) is through their preacher, and we both know preacherspeak... Assertions of the crudely assembled jibberish being holy itself, jargon like calling it "Scripture" aaaand preaching is usually throwing three cherry picked passages out into the room, no questions allowed o_O PS: History nerd here, applying for Lund University History program this year :)

hjorturerlend But of course! 66 myths written by (at least) 40 generally anonymous authors in 3 different languages on 3 different continents over approximately 1600yrs is *certainly* infallible. When expounded upon by such *brilliant* and studied voices as those representing the more fervent, orthodox segment of the Abrahamic faiths, listeners are simply pummelled into faithful submission by "the word". Oooo! *History!* I wish you the very, very best in your application! I am more than a tad jealous!

XD XD XD XD Zero evidence? ok pal. Israel was totally destroyed and then formed a nation as predicted in Bible. Name one other nation that has done that. Noah's Ark was found in Turkey, and all of a sudden the Turkish government sealed off every and any way to go see it, it's now guarded. There are also hundreds of ancient books about Noah and a worldwide flood, a lot from China surprisingly, they just don't name him Noah, same exact story though. Oysters fossils were found on top of a mountain in the closed position. When Oysters die, the open up. and, surprise, they don't climb. Jesus is real, whether you believe he was the Son of God or not, he was a real man. Muslims believe it, alot of Atheists believe it, obviously Christians believe it. It's also been confirmed he was killed on a cross, and that he was seen after. Several doctors reports showed that he actual did die on the cross as well. C'mon, i'm sixteen and I know this. I hate it when Christians (Specifically adults) believe something with no physical evidence outside of the Bible, cause quite frankly, you can't use the Bible as an argument against atheists. I'm not sure if you're looking for evidence or just slamming the Christian religion as BS. But if you actually want more, Dr Kent Hovind's older seminars are quite interesting, and he does alot of debate if you want to check those out :).

@@kingpinavatar Do you know what a "debate" truly is? Because I don't think you do. You should watch this video to find out what a "debate" truly is: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o5asmGCKrqmgY8k You don't have to watch the full 2 hours worth, but at least watch the first 20 minutes. They go back and forth. The moderator asks a question, then someone (either Kent or one of the profs) answers the question. Then the other side gets to rebut. Then they move on. This wasn't a "debate." This was the host interrupting the person he asked a question because he didn't "like the answer." If you ask a question, you should hear the answer first. Now, looking at news channels, mostly the host interrupts the guest because the guest keeps repeating the same talking points over and over. This guest didn't even GET that far, because he would start talking, and midway through his first sentence, the host interrupts and tries to shut him down. The guest said REPEATEDLY "Let me get there. You wanted an answer, I am going to get there if you let me finish my statement." This went on for FIFTEEN MINUTES until the host decided that "Whelp, I didn't get the answers I wanted, better end it now." And don't get me started on this whole "you can't use the Bible" crap. The guy barely even quoted ANY scripture, and use many papers and cited many works other than the Bible when he COULD get a word in edge-wise. You are sore because the host claims "I won." Typical libtard and atheist tactic. Get someone on a video chat, start by asking a few simple questions, talk over that person and interrupt them to get them on the defensive, then claim "interview over, I won." It doesn't fly. This guest picked apart the host's questions at first, and so the HOST HAD TO INTERRUPT HIM BECAUSE HE WAS LOSING THE DEBATE. I have seen it time and time again. Stupid. You don't have a rebuttal, and so the only thing left to do is END THE DEBATE before people see how ignorant you truly are. Good luck rebutting this.

The strategy of con-men is to essentially repeat the same thing over and over and thus run out the clock, and then claim they've given you some kind of answer, even though it has nothing to do with whatever you asked them. Preachers count on having an audience which is slow-witted and easily dazzled by various claims. So the "answer" was simply that a regime calling itself Israel was founded in 1948 by the bankers as the culmination of the project started by the Rothschilds once WWI was over and the Turkish empire was broken up. Every religion makes claims that cannot be backed up via rational means, hence it requires the faith of those indoctrinated in it to keep believing it. It's hardly a new formula, but in the modern age it becomes ever harder to find adherents. Thus those who attend churches tend to be older (and older) and as they die off, there are not enough to replace them. If the churches were not exempt from taxes, far fewer of them would still exist.

Honor killed a woman for getting raped. 4. Made women wear head coverings, forbidden them to drive, beat them because the Bible demands it (hint: IT DOESN'T), or any other of the horrible things the "holy book" of Islam demands. Go learn some facts before making generalist statements that make you look worse than hillbilly at a family reunion.

@@alexday2316 "Quite right. There's definitely no blood on Christianity's hands. Just as an aside, have you tried reading more than one book?" Really? When did I ever say that? I said, "I am no terrorist." That isn't the same thing as saying "Christianity is 'blood free." It seems that someone here hasn't been paying attention. "Try a history of South America for how delightful Christians can be. Or a book on the Spanish Inquisition. Or the institutionalised rape of children by Catholic priests." Really? Now who is biased. Hmm....Seems you need a history lesson yourself. South American Natives didn't welcome the Spanish as history teaches. They warred, they fought, and they died. They sacrificed humans by the thousands in their time. The Spanish were benevolent, and they tried to reason with the native population. But, the natives only saw them as a threat. So, they fought. And the Spanish, who had better training in warfare and better technology in weapons, prevailed. And that is why South America (predominantly) speaks Spanish. Also, the "Spanish Inquisition" wasn't as bad as people thought. You see, back in the 1300s-1600s, witchcraft was outlawed. People were superstitious, and they saw witches everywhere. Which is why the Inquisition was formed. They wanted to seek out the evil and purge it. Is it a "happy thing?" Hell no. But it is history. Might have wanted to throw in the Salem witch trials while you are at it. Hell, the American Revolution. Oh, and about those priests "diddling" boys? Not my denomination, not my problem. Take that up with the Pope. Get out of here. "To most non-believers every religion is as vile and poisonous as the next." Talk about generalizations. Wow. Can you come up with something more original? Because "religion" (as you tried to describe here) can be poisonous when people have too much authority with no accountability. You might want to think about that the next time you write a ignorant post such as this.

Well, I mean, science is true and we have to defend it all the time. If the Christian faith were literally true, though, all the available evidence *outside* of the Bible, from historical records through all disciplines of science: Geology, biology, genetics, astrology, physics, anthropology, epidemiology, chemistry, zoology, etc etc etc would all confirm it. We would be able to make predictions based upon the Bible and then, upon examining the physical world around us, in any level of detail, find that those predictions were demonstrably correct. In fact, with geology in particular, geologists who first set out to study the physical structure of the planet fully expected to find that confirmation that the Bible was literally true. They were pretty surprised and shaken to find that it wasn't. Meanwhile, though, while scientific understanding of the world is constantly refined and improved, it hasn't so far to be proven to be fundamentally wrong--unless evidence was at any point ignored or misinterpreted. Example: The sun was at one point believed to literally be a flaming chariot being drawn through the sky by magical flying horses, by certain cultures. The evidence does not support that, and never has; it was just a handy explanation that fit a certain world-view. The sun was then postulated to be quite small and close to the earth, and to orbit around the earth. Upon examination, that also did not fit the evidence--but it was closer to correct than the flaming magical chariot. Further study suggested that, rather than the sun tracing an extremely complicated path around the earth (along with all the other visible stars and planets), the sun, stars, and planets (including the earth) orbited around the sun at the centre of the universe, in an elliptical orbit, and that it was an almost unimaginably-huge distance from us. Again, that is far, far closer to the truth; we eventually learned that the stars don't orbit the sun, and the sun, while more or less being the centre of the solar system, isn't the centre of even the galaxy, let alone the entire universe. At this point, Einstein has made predictions, based upon all the available evidence, of how light and even time itself would be warped by the gravitational pull of the sun (as with any other physical body--although it needs to have a lot of mass in order for us to be able to measure the effects), which have since been confirmed to be true, the latest time, and I believe his last unconfirmed (to that point) prediction, only within the past year or two during an observation of the sun during I think a solar eclipse. The model of the sun as a giant flaming sphere at the centre of our solar system, while still being refined (it's not a flaming ball of gases, for example, it's an ongoing thermonuclear explosion that is large enough to sustain itself, and which is slowly converting the hydrogen gas that forms the bulk of its mass into helium, along with other byproducts, including radiation across the spectrum--radio waves, x-rays, visible light, heat, etc etc--the flaming ball of gas is an over-simplification but still not inherently *wrong*), still fits *all* the available evidence; and that model allows for predictions to be made of its behaviour and effects, which have then consistently proven to be true. Meanwhile, no flaming horse turds are falling to the earth, and there is absolutely not one single other piece of evidence to show in the slightest way that the flaming chariot model is anything beyond a metaphor or myth that was dreamed up by people with no further understanding of the world--or interest in testing their hypothesis to see if it held true in the face of the evidence. TL;DR: Defending something isn't the standard of proof of its veracity; but being able to successfully defend something via 100% of the outside evidence is; and, yeah, the Bible does not meet this standard of proof.

Same goes for 'evolution' theory - its proponents are so worried about this hoax and monumental lie from being exposed, that they try to indoctrinate kids in schools with this unscientific theory as if it were a fact. In addition they have blocked any attempts to address the problems and controversy surrounding the lack of scientific evidence for this theory and unwillingness to explore alternative explanations as to how life got here and how it originated. This shows that there is an agenda against the growing number of scientists who can furnish real world evidence pointing to intelligent design and at the same time exposing the flaws associated with claims for 'mutations' and 'random chance' being responsible for the complexity of living things.

@MasterCedar
@MasterCedar 6 жыл бұрын
@ Craig McQueen Like those of the Jewish writer Josephus, the works of the ancient historians Pliny, Suetonius and Tacitus do not provide proof that Jesus Christ ever existed as a “historical” character. These “references” no more prove the existence of Jesus Christ than do writings about other gods prove their existence. In other words, by this same argument we could provide many “references” from ancient writers that the numerous Pagan gods also existed as “real people.” To take one example, examine the evidence for Hercules of Greek mythology and you will find it parallels the “historicity” of Jesus to such an amazing degree that for Christian apologists to deny Hercules as a historical person belies and contradicts the very same methodology used for a historical Jesus. Note that Herculean myth resembles Jesus in many areas. The mortal and chaste Alcmene, the mother of Hercules, gave birth to him from a union with God (Zeus). Similar to Herod who wanted to kill Jesus, Hera wanted to kill Hercules. Like Jesus, Hercules traveled the earth as a mortal helping mankind and performed miraculous deeds. Similar to Jesus who died and rose to heaven, Hercules died, rose to Mt.Olympus and became a god. Hercules gives example of perhaps the most popular hero in Ancient Greece and Rome. They believed that he actually lived, told stories about him, worshiped him, and dedicated temples to him. Likewise the “evidence” of Hercules closely parallels that of Jesus. We have historical people like Hesiod and Plato who mention Hercules in their writings. Similar to the way the gospels tell a narrative story of Jesus, so do we have the epic stories of Homer who depict the life of Hercules. Aesop tells stories and quotes the words of Hercules. Just as we have a brief mention of Jesus by Joesphus in his Antiquities, Joesphus also mentions Hercules (more times than Jesus), in the very same work (see: 1.15; 8.5.3; 10.11.1). Just as Tacitus mentions a Christus, so does he also mention Hercules many times in his Annals. And most importantly, just as we have no artifacts, writings or eyewitnesses about Hercules, we also have nothing about Jesus. All information about Hercules and Jesus comes from stories, beliefs, and hearsay. Should we then believe in a historical Hercules, simply because ancient historians mention him and that we have stories and beliefs about him? Of course not, and the same must apply to Jesus if we wish to hold any consistency to historicity. Of course a historical Jesus may have existed, perhaps based loosely on a living human even though his actual history got lost, but this amounts to nothing but speculation. However we do have an abundance of evidence supporting the mythical evolution of Jesus. Virtually every detail in the gospel stories occurred in pagan and/or Hebrew stories, long before the advent of Christianity. We simply do not have a shred of evidence to determine the historicity of a Jesus “the Christ.” We only have evidence for the belief of Jesus.

MasterCedar Jesus "may have existed"? The gospel book of Luke is very detailed in its historical account, putting the events of Jesus Christ in the historical context of kings and governors. But for some reason you're unwilling to accept that as an eyewitness account (Luke based his writing on the interviews of eyewitnesses). Essential details of Jesus' life, such as being crucified by a Roman governor Pontius Pilate, are corroborated by other historians such as Tacitus.

@Craig McQueen As Tacitus was writing in 116 AD all he could be reporting on is what he was told by christians in reference to JC when he wrote: 'Consequently, to get rid of the report, Nero fastened the guilt and inflicted the most exquisite tortures on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of one of our procurators, Pontius Pilatus, and a most mischievous superstition, thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judæa, the first source of the evil, but even in Rome, where all things hideous and shameful from every part of the world find their centre and become popular. Accordingly, an arrest was first made of all who pleaded guilty; then, upon their information, an immense multitude was convicted, not so much of the crime of firing the city, as of hatred against mankind'. Even then he got it wrong as Pilate was never a Procurator (One in charge of financial affairs), he was a Prefect (a magisterial title) the first Procurator to govern Judea did not happen till 44ad Please tell me why you think that Luke's 'hearsay' is valid evidence for anything as it cannot be collaborated/questioned, it is for this very reason that we do not allow it as evidence in our courts.

You ramble on and on while sounding like you know what you're talking about, as the listener gets more and more lost, until they're just nodding their head and agreeing so that they don't look like they're the stupid one. And when you get a congregation, one person nods their head, and the others do the same so that they don't fall behind, when not one of them gets it. Which is why congregations are referred to as flocks of sheep. Unfortunately, when faced with a person who doesn't just fall in line, who thinks "This doesn't make sense because it's nonsense" instead of "This doesn't make sense because I'm not clever enough to grasp it" the whole tactic falls apart.

Presuppositional apologetics is probably the lowest form of Christian apologetics. I could write a book and call it prophecy that says the stock market will crash in the next 18 months, and then write a chapter later that gays ought to be given free houses in Beverley Hills. If a market crash happens and I was able to see that coming does not mean everything I argue is factual or accurate. Richard your analogy is off the mark and tells me that you do not know what you are talking about. Yes the bible is a book of life and how to live it and is a book of over 250 prophecies that span 1000's of years and can be confirmed. The bible is also about our beginning and our future. It gives very basic descriptions of heaven, the angels and God himself in a way humans can understand. The bible gives us a glimpse into the mind of the true God to give us a model on how to conduct ourselves. The true God delegates to his angelic servants various task and chose humans to write the bible because the bible is for mans benefit. Understanding the abstract nature of the bible along with all its symbolism, word pictures. metaphors and like is a privilage that moist humans on earth will never experience. Those who don;t know make claims that revolve around ignorance and lack of knowledge. Of course much of the blame falls on the worlds religious leaders who did not teach its members the truth. But then the worlds religions are being controlled by a spirit creature bent on destroying the humans race who is using religion as a sounding board for his deceptive ideas. The world empire of false religion is pictured in the bible as a harlot making love to the worlds political entities.

Jesus says in Matthew 24:32-34......Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender and puts out leaves, you know that summer is near. So likewise you, when you see ALL THESE THINGS, know that it is at the door. Truly I say to you, this generation shall not pass until ALL THESE THINGS be fulfilled. What generation will see ALL THESE THINGS? Certainly not the generation Jesus was talking to while He was on the earth because that generation died without seeing ALL THESE THINGS fulfilled. Jesus is obviously talking about the generation that would still be living when He returns. Shalom in Jesus.

alittlestrength - right. I have had the same question which, again, is why I wrote a question mark in the margin of my Bible next to that verse, specifically the words, "this generation" and have sought the commentaries of scholars for a better understanding.

alittlestrength No. The people listening to the discussion understood it to mean in their lifetime. You can't have it both ways. If you are going to literally believe what is written you have to believe it as is. You don't get to claim language translation as an escape clause. The Apostles believe that Jesus would return doing their lifetime. Paul wrote it also until he saw differently.

Anyone who believes, "Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear and sincerity of heart, just as you would show to Christ," and "Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord," is better off not returning at all. It's taken us generations to crawl out from these obscene religiously-fueled beliefs. I say good riddance.

He does not know how to answer questions. He just goes into his preaching routines. Makes me think of the slogan "Mind is a terrible thing to waste, or poison as a child. He must have been brainwashed as a child and never thought how to really think. Such a shame. Good question would be "Why are you basing your life on Bronze Age Myths and Fantasies?"

i agree, it gets so stale after a while. i have friends that live their life by the bible and thats all good. but i just am not interested and ask them if we could just not talk about those things. im in to quantum and particle physics and find that subject so interesting but would not push it on to people who are not interested,. its my thing. religious people cant seam to get their head around that.. personally. the study of consciousness is much more exciting

Also true of all you so-called secularists commenting here - you're so convinced you're right you can't even address the reality of this interview which is that, no, it didn't go very well, for David, not the bible guy. (and I'm about as atheist as any of you here, so I'm not of the god-persuasion, just of the critical, don't believe everything at face-value persuasion and that includes badly constructed st pieces like this whole interview.) In the end, both are just preaching to their respective choirs. And also David is even more avoiding that the Christian.
