About Luka. The most underrated thing this season is that he very rarely complains to the refs at the detriment to his team. He runs back on defense, he doesn't run up to the ref while his team is playing 4 on 5 on the other end. And he's playing better defense than any season so far. The only thing keeping him from going for 40 every game is his damn quad injury.

as far as the celtics it rly depends on HOW THEY PLAY. the biggest prob with yrs past is not that they lost but the fact they didnt play to their capabilities in those losses. they might be b2b champions rn if they played their best ball. however if they play well n get beat by a better team then they just run it back with jays a yr older n wiser. no panicking

as a cs fan joe is standing on the fact that hitting a lot of 3s is crucial to winning the "math" problem in the nba. recent history supports that strategy over big sample sizes. but he has acknowledged that you need audibles when the variance isnt on your side on any given night. thats why this yr there's a bigger emphasis on defense (we saw them handle the lakers easily on xmas shooting like 30% for 3 on high volume bc defense kept them in the game) and post-up mismatch attacking (last night v pistons they couldnt hit a 3 n go down 19 in the 1st but in the 2nd they pivoted to posting JT n KP at the nail n on the block and were able to be very effective. yes it was the pistons but KP is scoring at a historic rate out of the post an JT is top10 in post efficiency this yr too) we'll see how the guys execute it in the playoffs but joes strategy has evolved for sure

I believe that donvovan Mitchell is an almost non-factor to cavs regular season success right now.
